Cora Breakfast and Lunch

I used to enjoy coming to Cora, but the music they play here is more suited for a night club than a breakfast restaurant. The last few times I’ve been here I have ended up leaving with a headache. Can’t they play something more middle of the road than techno pop laced with rap? I don’t want to hear that during breakfast and I know a lot of other people don’t as well. The last time I was here I complained about the horrible music -and the table next to us cheered. I asked the staff if they could play some thing more middle of the road, but they said no they can’t due to orders from Cora’s head office. I complained the head office and got no reply. I’ve now given Cora a one star review and don’t plan on coming back.

It was ok.wasn't really impressed with my meal. Service was kinda average and I was the only person in the place so out of 10 I say about a 4. But that was my visit

The staff were very friendly, attentive, and flexible. The food was excellent, being fresh and well prepared. The cost was reasonable and seating was not crowded and ample window space for natural light.along with ample parking.

Really bad experience moreover the service was very very slow and there is just one server and they did all of our bills wrong. The worst location I have ever been to.

The gargantuan breakfast and Cale & Mango smoothie bowl tasted amazing.
Our little one even tasted for the very first time strawberries, since they looked so freshi and tasty.
The plate presentation was spotless.
The attention and of the employees and manager to all details and to refill coffee, water or maple syrup is way beyond.
Recommended and will return for sure.

Had brunch here twice and it was delicious.
We ordered Chocolate Chip Pancakes and Chicken Sandwich.
We got Classic pancakes instead but waitress was kind enough to get us Nutella spread upon request.
Been here twice and visit again for sure.

Very friendly and attentive service. Place was crowded, so is a popular meeting place. Food servings were ample but dishes seemed a bit off.egg dish was flat and overdone. The crepe sandwich was worth a try but would not order again. Service is the standout feature for Cora.

Incredibly attentive service. Cheerfully accommodated my small substitution request (mushrooms instead of bacon on the tomato Benny - you should try it!). Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Will be back.

I have dined at this location 3 or 4 times with big gaps between visits. It was a great little casual breakfast/lunch spot. The first time we came here Madame Cora, the founder was visiting. The food, service, ambiance etc was very good. Gradually, I have noticed that the food quality is very low, the food is served cold, it’s bland and boring, and the price hike is astronomical given the poor quality of food. It is evident that they are using the lowest quality ingredients and they take no pride in presentation like they used to. I’m not expecting gourmet food at Cora’s. What I expect is decent down home cooking at a decent price. Also, the restaurant was not clean. Floors had food particles and the tables were sticky. I have to praise our server Susana. She was very good.

Great selection of breakfast items from omelets to pancakes and crepes + everything in between.

The worst service I have ever received. There were almost as many servers as customers, and after 15 minutes, they didn’t even pour a coffee. We just walked out, and they didn’t seem to care.

I have been 6 times. The last two times, I asked for the plate to be warmed up. They did each time. Previously, the plate was cold. The Breakfast Poutine is very good

Wasn't terribly busy. Service was prompt and the food was reasonable. Nothing stands out as amazing but nothing stands out as disappointing either. Pretty basic overall.

Delicious breakfast. I love their combination meals and that they incorporate fruit with many of their meals. Would definitely recommend

The service is terrible, took forever to get served and had to wait forever to get cutlery. Father in-law did not get his meal until we were all done with our meals.

At late breakfast on July 9,2022 around 1pm. 2 of us ate well for $40 including tip. They definitely don’t cheap out on their customers. Food quality was amazing, with great portioning. Restaurant was full yet service was quick.

Horrible service sat for 30 m before anyone would even take our our coffee order, then another 20 m before they came over and took our food order and it wasn’t busy at all. We had come before and it was horrible service but wanted to try it one more time as we love the fresh fruit but realized right away it was the wrong choice to come back. We have been to other Cora’s that are run so much better and this one just needs better management.

Great breakfast place. The staff were welcoming and attentive. They had the right things in place to accommodate our small kid. Food was delicious. A little pricey but we will definitely be back again.

Had to wait for 65 min for our food. Then half of our order came. Our food came cold. No service. Food tasted horrible. When we complained why our order came late the server did they can get it to go for us. Never again!

For our first experience in Cora, the customer service was really good. Gurbir kindly welcoming us and was responsible towards customers.

Ordered through Ubereats for breakfast. Crepe was bland and rubbery to the point of being inedible. The potatoes were salty with overcharged cheese shredded on top. Small portions, would not buy from again.

We're soooo happy we found this gem. Food and service are amazing! Staff are the friendliest in town!

I won't be back. Medium cooked eggs Benny seems to translate to raw eggs Benny here. The egliish muffin so tough it can't be cut. The hollandaise sauce that tastes like warmed mayo. What's the word here? Ick. Definitely ick.

Yeah not gonna try again. At least the staff here didn't seem to care so it had that going for it.

Im giving 4-stars because I went to the North Vancouver location, just 2-hours ago for breakfast and saw that the training person at the door allowed a family to bring their dog in without hesitation.

Im pretty sure live animals aren’t allowed in for places (unless guide dog) that serves food cause of hygienic reasons.

In 10mins, the lady brought her dog out and left inside her car. Good job on the manager for knowing the BC laws and taking the required action.

Great food and value. The staff were all taking turns waiting on us and it was very inconsistent and confusing. We didn't get checked on as much as I'd like with a little one. I wiped the table and highchair when I arrived as my baby likes to touch everything and some dirt and grime came off both. Better wiping of tables and highchairs between customers would be great!

It's a higher priced breakfast venue that's for sure. Food was good and the service was friendly.

I couldn't believe how good the coffee is here! You'll find that everything from crepes to waffles and pancakes are all top notch but the coffee is a make or break at some breakfast places. This place has great eggs and great coffee

Food was just ok. Paper thin bacon and unripe fruit. The service was largely terrible, wait staff was sullen and rude. There was a cloud of fruit flies following our plates. I complained to the waiter, he just stared vacantly and walked away. I told the manager and she gave me a coupon for a smoothie.

It was my first time at this location, this Tuesday and I was amazed by the service and food. Will definitely recommend.
