Food is still fantastic, though sad to say business is just so poor. Heartbreaking to see so few walk in customers. Just pray they have better business during dinner time. Good luck!

I bought two of my favourite Taiwanese dishes at Corner 23. Braised pork belly rice and the fried chicken. The fried chicken was good. Crispy and seasoned well. I will admit I was disappointed with the pork rice. The sauce was way to sweet. Other than that I really enjoyed the dish. I like the egg and the pickles are a nice way to balance the fattiness of the pork.

This place used to be good, but it's horrible now. I tried to call and place preorder and the staff said they don't take preorder for next day. Fine, so I ordered online and went pick up the next day. When I arrived, the staff said they don't take online orders and have no clue what I was talking about. After numerous back and forth, they finally managed to find my order. What a hideous process just to get food

Decided to do some Taiwanese takeout from a different neighborhood. Went with the classic pork hock, stir fried vermicelli, garlic chicken and beef wrap. The portion is small for the price. The chicken has more garlic clove than chicken pieces. The pork hock was disappointing - it has a strong "pork smell" which usually means not the freshest meat or improper prepping. If you pour the sauce, it did help masking that smell. Oh well, have to look elsewhere for good Taiwanese pork hock.

The quality of food is not a good as before COVID. The chicken with three spice sauce and five spice stewed pork blood and pork intestine are both quite salty - even I specifically asked for low sodium.

Forgive me for not able to lay the food out better, but the beef noodle soup was delicious, my son usually not a meal eater, devour the popcorn chicken. And the price was fair.

Excellent Taiwanese food. Forget those T+T's. I am sure l will be back. It's price is reasonable.

The worst dining experience I ever had!
I would give negative thousand stars if I could. This place not worth a penny. Food is so overpriced and not tasty. Their milktea is garbage. Like worst drink taste you can imagine. Servers are mean and pay no attention to guests. There were only two of us in the whole place and they still forgot our order. They left us thirsty with no water during the whole meal, so we ended up ordered their milk tea. And those drinks tasted surprisingly terrible. How could this place still remain opening? Don't ever step into this place and make the same mistake like me.

They've been serving here for a long time! Lots of choices In the savory department. My blood and intestine stew combo was hot, rich and spicy!

Service was so bad. They wouldn’t even serve you water and expect you to sit there and thirst to death. Food was outrageously overpriced for what you get. Portion is half compared other restaurants but they charge $13. The milk tea was so bad. Never again.

These guys are great. Helpful they know everything you need to know. And friendly. Great place to shop

We had lu rou fan (braised pork with rice), ba-wan (meat ball dumpling) and stir fried cabbage. Good portion and reasonable price. Recommended:)

Reliable, very reasonably priced, COVID safety measures in place. Their pork hock soup noodle dish is what they are most well known for, delicious and oh so fulfilling. It's similar enough to what you find in Taiwan! Other yummy dishes are the fried oyster mushrooms and fried salted tofu. They also have a great solo hotpot combo with a very generous amount of food. Always good for a quick, budget-friendly bite! Recommend!

Food was meh (average) and service was poor. It is evident your female servers don't care about customer service or their place of work. Service was abysml late last night. Quality of both food and service has really gone downhill in the last few years.

Had satay hotpot with pork hock.hotpot was good but need more satay flavor and cabbage was cooked but its bitter.
The pork hock was different than the one I tried couple years ago, still got good texture but flavor was different.

Food quality was not as good as before compare 2 years ago. The service also worst as I raise my hand for about over a minute but 5 servers cannot see me when only 3 tables of customers in restaurant. Price is fair but only few parking stalls at the back.

Fast service and good food. Noodle texture a bit too soft and seafood noodle a bit bland in flavour.

Where do I start? Rude service and terrible attitude. Along with bringing up a rice dish without any spoons, they do not care about your experience sitting in the table unless you pressingly ask them to. Gave tips that was appropriate to their service, and they said “not enough” disrepectfully. Would wholeheartedly not recommend to any of my dearest person because I dont want them to experience this place

One of my usual family go to restaurants. Quality is good and have been consistent all the past years. Their 3 cup chicken is good. Service is good, generally have smiles:). Place is clean. One of the best Taiwanese restaurants In Vancouver. Parking is limited，about 8 cars stalls in the back. There is Yi fang couple doors away in the same block.

Their food and service never disappoint! We ordered pork hock rice combo. Always offer reasonable price and delicious food.

The food here is truly good. When I saw the menu, there was a large variety of foods from hot pot, steaks, noodle soups, curries, and usually restaurants with such a variety with their menus are ok, but the food we got was excellent. I had the steak which was perfection. Everything was cooked well. My mother had the curry which she was very satisfied with. The workers there were very kind to us and gave us many suggestions. We enjoyed our dining experience and we will definately be back.

Super amazing food! Really like everything but I forget what I ordered since the menu had little English. Definitely an authentic experience!

This cash only Taiwanese cafe may look unassuming from the outside, but inside it does serve some good simple comfort food dishes as well as cafe style bubble tea.

We tried the BBQ pork fried noodle and the marinated pork chop noodle soup. The BBQ pork (char siu) fried noodle was pretty ordinary, for me it could of done with more pork. The noodle soup was simple but good in its comforting broth and the braised pork was tender and flavorful giving a balance between the two.

The service here is pretty standard, you may need to waive down a wait person at times and there may not be a lot of voluntary small talk, but it is friendly and prompt.

Overall, though it doesn't stand out as being amazing by Taiwanese standards, this restaurant/cafe hits the spot for some Taiwanese comfort food.

Place was recommended by a friend. Their signature dish tastes great, didn’t get to try the other dishes. It was a bummer that they only accept cash.

No service. I ordered foods to go. I waited for 15 minutes food and food is ready but they didn’t tell me is ready. I just sit beside the counter.

Well, not as good as Taiwan, but so far, I think its the best Taiwanese food in town that you got lol

This is place our go-to place for some somewhat authentic ISH Taiwanese food. Highly recommend ordering the dishes separately and a bucket of rice on the side for everyone to enjoy all th dishes (vs ordering your own set). The only beef I have with this place is the fact that their bowls/cups are never dry and we always have to wipe them down first. Also, don’t except any supreme service.

This Taiwanese server Ji Ye is very kind and nice, he served our table was so friendly.

Foods tasted not bad. Cash only. Employees are basically nice and friendly. Public restrooms available. Serve speed is normal. Check out speed is fast. Free parking lot available, but very limited space and very crowded. Dinning environment is a bit crowded as well.

Amazing service and friendly staff to begin with. Food was quick as expected and in a surprisingly good portion. Going with family is a must! Also, food is inexpensive and tastes delicious! 10/10 would recommend!

They are one of my favorite Taiwanese restaurants. But no anymore after the yesterday visited. The beef noodle soup is lack flavor, like one scoop of soup mix with 2 cups of water. The deep fried chicken nugget is super sweet. We strongly believe the chef put sugar to marinated the meat without salt. Something wrong of the chef yesterday.

Used to be very good place to eat beef noodle, but lately the beef is so chewy and tough, I thought I was eating Arnold Schwarzenegger.

This place has good food, but the staff will ignore you if you don't speak Chinese. You would think it smart bubble tea but it has very good Taiwanese style food. Beef noodle soup and fried chicken are exceptional.
