If you want to have a great experience, I highly recommend going to Cosmedica! They have a wonderful approach to getting the results you are looking for. Nurse Sheri, goes over and above to make sure she offers great service and goes the extra mile to ensure when you leave you are putting your best face forward.

I guess the issue I have with the world of cosmetic dermatology is similar to the issues I have with literally everything nowadays- this realm is geared towards profit and really doesn't care about improving people's lives or making treatment accessible to people who need it.
Perhaps it is out of their control, but scarring and other skin conditions greatly affect people's mental health and efficacy in the world and people should have the right to healthy skin.
The prices for all the treatments were pretty standard honestly but still insanely expensive- expensive like a single treatment can cost as much as orthodontic braces.

Older hubby comment. After a nudge from my wife, I started getting Botox treatments at Cosmedica. After treatment, I feel like my face has a more relaxed appearance and hey. "Who doesn't mind looking a couple years younger? " I'm very happy with the results. All the staff are excellent but a Nod to Nurse Sheri, who was very good on my last visit.

I paid around $3500 for their lazer to get rid of a neck tattoo. At the original consultation the manager told me that they could get rid of it completely. 8 sessions later, 3500 bucks later it was pretty obvious it was going to need alot more sessions. When I complained to her her tune totally changed and she tells me that she has seen their laser get rid of tattoos 90% so she lied to me and I'm p***ed off. In my opinion she is under qualified for her position. Kept cutting me off and arguing with me when I was trying to explain. I wouldn't recommend anyone to do it unless u are getting a cover up after. I want my money back I had to go and get a cover up which I didn't want on my neck. Waste of money!

I have seen Sheri for filler several times now and she is fantastic. I feel so confident with my face in her skilled hands, not to mention her kind and attentive bedside manner. The front desk staff are always so helpful and courteous. Always a 5 star experience!

I had been a repeat customer for over 10 years. Dr Lupin had removed sun damage, moles, and a frown line which always made me look angry. During one treatment I questioned him about a mole on my leg, to which he inspected and said that it looked normal and I should only remove for cosmetic reasons. Half a year later, I questioned him
Again as I had some ongoing concerns about it. The same advice was given. It wasn’t until a few years later, during another doctors visit, in another town (I had moved for work), that this doctor removed the mole and has it tested. Melanoma. Somehow the lab results copy was also sent to Dr Lupin, (no longer in the picture, but still on lab file) whose office called me to advise I go have my GP check it out. I was livid, scared, anxious - thankfully, my new doctor removed extra tissue (another procedure), beyond the area involved (standard practise apparently) and I received the all clear. It still stings that a doctor (and dermatologist!) I trusted for so long could fail me in such a way. I also noted that many of Dr Lupin’s staff were beginning to look too “over filled”, which added to putting me off seeking any further treatment.

Today I visited first time and gained such a great experience. Love the collection of their skincare products along with guidance for someone naive like me!

Absolutely amazing. They are lovely, knowledgeable, and kind. Dr. Lupin is fantastic and so kind!

Before this experience I was a happy repeat customer,
In late August I was booking a treatment they had on promotion and the nice girl on the phone suggested I get an add-on and what the extra charge would be. It was sold as a wonderful deal and I agreed to it. Then at the consultation the amount was significantly higher than I was originally told over the phone. After her looking into it, and her learning there was some pricing miscommunication amongst them, to my knowledge, the first amount was what I would be charged. I understood it as settled.
Then on the day of the treatment, the higher amount was still on my file. The office manager stated she was not going to honour the amount I was originally offered. Really? And suggested that the first amount was unheard of, implying I was lying. She took some money off but it was clear she was not happy to do that. I let it go, and paid for their mistake.

I am reviewing late because as it turns out, only about one month later, I see the same treatment and add-on are now being offered for the special promo price I was originally offered over the phone, and it is not unheard of. It was too much for her to ‘honour’ the price one month early. Unbelievable. Honour is part of maintaining good customer relationships.
Update: Happen to come across My Personal Treatment Plan paper.
My quote was for the lower original offer.
It also states, Quotation is Valid for 60 days.
Apparently not.

First I want to say I have been a customer at Cosmedica for about 20 years. I had an appointment scheduled for photodynamic therapy consultation, and met with someone whom I think, seemed to have very little experience or knowledge. She kept going back and forth to ask questions to some other person as she couldnt answer my simple queries about the treatment. She also said to me I would need a referal from a dermatologist and a prescription for the metvix (?) cream needed for my face. I said why would I need that, Dr Lupin is a dermatologist and he should be able to do this since they are offering the treatment. Anyways after some back and forth it did not make sense to me to go through all the trouble of doing that. You have a dermatologist doctor and you offer the treatment, so make it happen right? I decided to go to port coquitlam to another dermatologist and they had no issue getting everything in order for me to get my treatment. I think that this place has gone downhill and Dr Lupin just doesnt seem to be involved anymore. My Advice to Cosmedica: do not offer treatments you cant do from start to finish!

I'm a healthy women in her early 50s with experience in using a little filler / Botox here & there to improve my appearance. I moved from Ont.where treatments are done by a Dr & a follow up appt scheduled within 2 weeks to ensure everything is fine & if more is needed. Dr Lupin is strangely rude, condescending and shows no respect for a woman's knowledge of her own experience. I chose to ignore this behavior because the staff seemed always empathetic after his behaviour but now see it was a red flag. I had my first treatment & a canula of filler was injected under one eye and it immediately filled what looked like a pocket/bubble & when I politely addressed the immediate issue Dr Lipin was extremely rude, blamed my expectations - walked out the room. I sat there dumbfounded. I called the clinic weeks later as the strange swelling has not resolved, was told it was "normal ". A dr who doesn't make any time for follow ups & is making mistakes is a Dr women should not be giving our money to.

I have not gone through any treatment yet but the consultation went very well! She made me feel relaxed and very encouraged about the outcome of my procedure I’m happy

I had filler on my frown lines and lines on either side of the lower lip! It was painless and saw immediate results! I’m looking forward to seeing the results in a couple of weeks after the swelling goes away! I know I’ll be so pleased!

I got in without waiting and was able to make a appointment with a less then 24 hour wait time. The lady who did my botox was very informative and explained everything that she was doing and why. I have had botox done at other clinics and this one lasts the longest. Different companies mix their botox at a different strength to increase profits. They have good quality botox and don't over mix it with saline.

I’ve had two services now at Cosmedica. I had an annoying and ugly age spot removed on my hairline. Couldn’t believe I waited so long because in one session it was removed. It was painless, fast and affordable. Yesterday I had my first laser session on my face and all the staff were so warm and welcoming and helpful. I have quite a few more sessions booked and am really excited to continue to see wonderful results.

Amazing service with Cara at Cosmedica
I had my coolsculpting treatment with Cara at Cosmedica today. She is excellent and knowledgeable, she welcome me with a warm smile as soon as I arrived at the clinic, and made me feel comfortable right away which I’m so thankful because I was a bit worried before my treatment but through her caring approach, understanding of my doubts and insecurities, she made the whole process so easy and made me feel special. I strongly recommend getting treatment by her. She did an excellent job!

I went to Cosmedica to find a solution for my saggy face and they recommended to get cheek fillers. I did and my face turned aweful and looking deformed when I smiled. I asked them to get it removed and I lost $1,400. This bad result was either a bad product or bad application. All they did about it is giving me 6 sessions of "complementary laser hair removal in my upper lips, valued $300 that was not enough to remove my hair in that area.
I am very disappointed of this place. And that is not all, one my friends just had the same results with cheeks fillers at Cosmedica and unfortunately I couldn't warn her on time. I do not recommend this place at all.

Spotless, friendly, professional and I got exactly the results I was hoping for. I will be back!
