Beware of tire removal as the sensors for the tires to check if filled with air get damaged and are $56 each - all 4 is $224+. Coincidental that 2 of them gone and first time 1 gone. Funny how they dont teach you about the button under your drivers side dash area. Older tires returned and stretched to the hill. Two sets of all seasons both are slippery in wet conditions.one caused an accident 2x by sliding about 1 meter. Sometimes the tires are brownish on the exterior.these are old. Phone DOES NOT GET PICKED UP OR HAVE VM.
Always overcrowded. I got run over by other people pushing carts and racing to the sample tables. Always come out of it with PTSD. And apparently one needs to spend money on a membership for the privilege to spend even more money inside. Laughable. Oh.and they keep your names and addresses in their computer long after you die too. So much for the right to the forgotten. Hopefully just waiting to be sued.
What a joke - they have recently (the last 3 times) asked me to show my membership card at self check out. That is redundant for 2 reasons: (1) they did not even look at the photo or verify if that was me and (2) they already checked at the main entrance.
This Costco always seems to be very, very busy. They seem to get people in and out pretty smoothly though. Convenient location for those of us that live downtown or close to downtown, but construction on the local roads in the summer and fall can make it a bit time consuming just getting to and from.
Reminder to not go on a day the Canucks and the BC Lions are playing
On may 22 I purchased pitted olives thinking there pitted no warning on the jar that could be pits in there well there was one and cracked my tooth and been in pain since then went to the dentist and he estimates it might cost in the area of $8 to 10,000 plus tax neither Costco helped until now but there insurance company travellers which is based in the U. S are so rude and slow I’m in pain every day and suffered daily can’t eat hot or drink cold I made then an offer but the insurance company declined it saying they need more time I’m not sure how mush more they have had almost 2 month to July 22,2023 be aware of this product pitted Kalamata made by Tassos made in Greece should be removed from the shelves immediately I will file a claim with the court
Great place. Easy to on public transit. Lots of free samples. Staff are quick at the checkout. UPDATE NOV/22 other than more people shopping not much has changed. Have noticed lots of price increases, but that is typical of most stores. Great place to shop. UPDATE JULY/23 Nothing much has changed other than it is much busier even on a Monday afternoon. Nice to see the free samples back. Staff is fast at the checkout. Good prices.
It’s a Costco. It has what I want. It’s not pretentious. Just wish they had samples back but totally understand at the current point in time. Am a member and will continue to be
Enjoyed the visit to Costco today very friendly greeting when arriving there. And lots of Christmas ideas and sales in the middle of the store! Thanks & happy holidays Costco ;) ;] ;} PS: Gotta See: The Mongoose Electric Bike (s) : The Jetson Electric Bike
Still a fan of what this company gives access to. My needs have changed through the decades and they have also. Even though they have loads of customers every day, they are on top of the staffing to keep a reasonable throughput of customers. The grocery stores should study the till system and copy. Perhaps it is the $8 wage difference?
A normal Costco but right downtown Vancouver by stadium sky train station. If your Downtown and need a Costco this is the place to go to. It has the usual Costco items and a food court outside.

I really do like Costco. Not everything is cheaper at Costco, but there are savings. Only negative point is how busy it can get. The line up to pay was single file, starting at the back of Costco by the milk coolers. It's not like this every time, so I recommend avoiding peak times if possible.
This location lost my information, and I was unable to get a card, it cost me another 75.00$ that I now figure is best serves in the future at the new Oakridge establishment, that centalizes it's community making it safer then the crouds of Surrey or downtown.
Some are good prices ongoing sale from the end of November until now. Appreciate it, no matter phone plan to some good quailties clothing thank you, Costco.
Best place to get everything you need under one roof, with the vast stock and so many options for all the budgets, this is one roof under which we can finish all the shopping, the prices are also reasonable and we can choose products based on our price range! That is the best part!:)
Why the staff at COSTCO PHARMACY at EXPO BOULEVARD is so RUDE? Anyone knows? I moved from Shoppers Pharmacy to Costco and I deeply regret it! SO DISAPPOINTED! Learn a bit of customer service!
Very unfriendly and grumpy staff. Every fk time I visit this place I feel so upset. I understand that they are unfriendly because it's soooo busy but I don't want to visit here if I can. Sadly, this is closest from my house and I don't have a choice. Especially the lady with pink mask at the cashier, she is so rude and bossy. There was a heavy box and she was like 'put it under the cart. ' Well excuse me, you could have helped me You are the one who should help me to organize items in the cart, not telling me to do it. And to the guy who was also at the cashier, Please do not say "WHAT? " to customers ever when they are asking questions. You can say pardon, sorry, or whatever that doesn't sound rude. What is wrong with you guys.
Very convenient from the Executive Heritage Park Hotel. Caught the bus on pacific. There and back under an hour! As always, great selection and prices!
Have found what I needed only in bulk. Checkout lines moved fast. Beware of parking, parking attendants are eager beaver to give tickets. My car was ticketed 2 minutes after purchasing the ticket.
Love this Costco for many reasons! Great staff! Underground parking offers plenty of space and if it is raining, you and your goods stay dry. I normally shop at another one closer to my home but do prefer to go to this one and even though you have to pay for parking, it's only $2 for 2 hours. They have security patrol which is terrific in case you need to pop up for some refreshments at the food court.
Great variety of products and food of all types. Corner stores shop here. Parking, elevators, washrooms, SkyTrain and wheelchair access. Membership required. Inexpensive fast-food available without membership.
Great place to buy food and clothes for a great price. In my experience, fruit and vegetables could have very good prices compared with other supermarkets.if you want to buy organic this is a good place to do it, for less money. Also everything is in bulk so it is cheaper, you just have to considera space for everything at home. Also shoes, dog food, kitchen and home appliances, computers, vitamins, shampoo, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brush and much more. Definitely my favorite place to shop groceries and much more
Great location for those living downtown. It can get super busy at times though. And being right beside Rogers Arena, the hot dog stand is jam packed on Canucks game night!
One of the few Costco warehouses that charges members for parking ($2) I wish they would reimburse you with minimum spending, similar to some other stores do. I guess this is the price you have to pay for having it in the downtown core. Other than that, the variety of merchandise is fine, similar to other warehouses, with slightly more healthy and organics options available.
I always go there with my friend who is member and I like it there but one day I was early and they didn't let me use washrooms because I didn't have a membership card!
Down town Vancouver store. PAY PARKING? It's only $2 but the line up to get the tickets.wow.food court nit a great set up, but I guess with limited space it's the best they could do. They do have Ribena (blackcurrant cordial) unlike my local Abbotsford store.
They moved the berries out of the fridge area. Blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries will have a lot of mold now on the bottom which you can’t see well until you take it home and unbox and sort through them. They used to have great deals for the amount of berries you get but it isn’t worth it if you have to throw out half the box. Blueberries are mostly fine though.
Went to Costco Vancouver this evening and it was shut. No explanation and got stuck in the driveway into the garage with people behind me. No signs, no notice just closed.
This location is pretty clean and have cool stuff compared to other locations I've been to. I tried the chicken sandwich and it wasn't the best. However, I highly recommend the poutine.
Well of course the number one thing about this place is the french fries and hot dogs that you can't beat it's also nice to be able to go in and do shopping and look around the store and see what new things are in the store and it's well worth the membership
Look, i was a member years back but stopped as far too many things are too much for a single person household. I go with a friend mow and again as hangout thing and do toss the odd thing in the cart. 2 things stand out at Costco, very friendly and kind staff and.wait for it.an APPALLING disregard for the environment! SO much stuff is packed in excessive PLASTIC! Its sick! Costco should be called "CauseCo" as they disregard ALL environ causes and CAUSE more pollution! Brutal and sad and blatant environment al ignorance. Go if you must but learn to cook, shop where loose produce is sold, make your own sauces juices and flavour water. One exception.bulk toilet paper may use less plastic.
Love that we don’t have to go out the suburbs to hit up a Costco, but will say this one is a bit lacking in inventory at times. But it has all the necessities and is super convenient so it’s a win for me!
Really busy. Be prepared to pay for underground parking. There is street parking but usually full and difficult to park due to the pine of impatient drivers waiting to zoom by. Physical costco is smaller than the other costcos in the city but has the essentials.
Loving the Express lanes! Have been asking for these for YEARS! As a business person who often needs to pop in quickly for office supplies, this is MUCH appreciated! Thank you Costco!
The store experience has been always pretty good but on line experience is really bad lately. I called customer service to check with one of my on line order which 1) has been delayed for 10 days 2) at the end it s been sent back to sender by UPS without any reason updated to me.i was politely asking the reason and tried to clarify my understanding whether it will be a refund or exchange, and the guy who was very rude and bad attitude like "i told you so and i dont care'' tone. It just hard to justify costco's so-call 100% satisfactory gtee. I will serious consider cancel my membership with such service.
It's a Costco, you know what to expect. Pick your time wisely and it can be a painless experience. Choose poorly and you might need to walk a bit after parking and wait a bit getting through the cash.
I was here for my COVID vaccine, though, which was super quick and super easy. 5/5, would vaccinate again.
Great place to shop! Costco is the best place to buy groceries but you need to buy in bulk to save money. That's what I LOVE but if you don't like buying in bulk then it's not for you. Costco is so cool and the return policy is amazing. If you don't like something you can take it back instantly even if you've eaten some of it. Love love LOVE THIS STORE!
Great store! Great bargains/selections! Wished they could have a directory map distributing upon entering knowing where the items on each isles easier. But great friendly, services staffs!
This was our first time at this location, as its minutes from our home, as opposed to the other in Vancouver and burnaby, having said that, it wasn't too challenging to get parking, but make sure you pay promptly, as a ticket may be issued, but like all the other Costco's, it can be pretty busy inside, but I have to say, it was a pretty efficient and quick experience. May go again to see if this will be a pattern.
The 3 mean chinese sample ladies here are very rude and belittle and harass customers l saw one of them slap a man's hand as he went to grab one for himself and his wife and child. Store policy states samples are supposed to be unlimited so they can't say no to people. They target and harass certain customers who are paying members. They stand around and give customers mean stares. They won't answer questions about products so god forbid if you have an allergy they will just give you bad energy very unhelpful old ladies. The staff are clueless where stuff is located. The food court pizza was dried out and cold won't buy there again tasted so hard and old.
It's so incredibly convenient having a Costco downtown. There's plenty of underground parking so make this your next stop if you have a chance. Remember, only Costco members can shop here!
If you're at a Canucks game, you won't find a cheaper hot dog than at the Costco. Grab your fill pre-game and then head over to Rogers arena.
Excellent Costco location, ample pay parking ($2 for 2 hrs), lineups are manageable, always lots of sales, and staple Costco cafe now has self-serve machines to order quickly without having to wait in the lineup for food.
It is what you expect from Costco. A bit crowded close to closing time. They desperately need an express check out. I guess they do not expect you or encourage you to buy few items.
They added self checkout for fast food would be a great idea to do the same in the main warehouse
An unusual location for a Costco, since it's placed in a busy downtown area. Parking is not free due to its prominent location but still reasonably priced.
My partner and I just left the downtown Vancouver store, and had poor customer service from our cashier, Jimmy.
He scoffed at us under his breath when I payed with exact change to cover 75 cents worth of the bill, and then passive aggressively handed my partner the loonie change by pressing the coin heavily and dismissively into my partner’s hand.
I don’t know what we did to offend him - I wonder if he felt it was hassle to count 75 cents worth of quarters and dimes.but i trust this is part of his job description!
I hope other customers don’t receive the same treatment on a Sunday morning!
This location is VERY smart. By having their food court outside, they allow non-members, especially game and concert attendees, access cheaper alternatives to expensive stadium food. Now, Costco's food court takes debit which is a blessing for those who dislike carrying cash around.
If your a fan of buying bulk well then Costco was meant for you! They offer a members only place to shop for pretty much about anything and everything you could ever need for you and your home and all your shopping needs! Memberships start at $50 and can be as much as $150 per year depending on your selection made all levels I guarantee will be considered to be good choices and the benefits of such will be apparent within your home and surrounding environment for sure! The quality of the products and such sold here are on the higher end and exchanges and refunds are always accepted with proof of purchase. Costco receives a 4.5 star selection from me!
They hire the most cheerful, loyal employees. Where do they find these people? They seem so proud to work there. I've heard that Costco treats its employees well, and from their demeanour, it seems true. For this reason, I don't view Costco as a faceless "big-box" store. If customers get great value and the employees are happy, then I feel good about shopping there.
I also like the minimalist nature of the place. No-frills warehouse saves money on operations, bulk packaging reduces waste. Everyone uses their own bags or recycled store boxes. It's relatively eco-friendly when you think about it.
The products are high quality and Costco upholds its guarantees. Love the healthy snacks and specialty brands that you can't find elsewhere.
I ran a business, a Sub and Sandwich shop, almost entirely with supplies from Costco. The price/100g on each label made costing easy and I ran at least 5-10% lower food costs than if I had used commercial distributors.
Lots of samples today and most were OK for plant-based humans. It wasn't too crowded. Tills were not backed-up. Still don't like paying for parking but two bucks isn't too bad. Slightly more variety of merchandise in this branch than in others where I've shopped in the Lower Mainland.
