Country Grocer

A great grocery shop that has all you need at a reasonable price, good quality and helpful, friendly staff.

DO NOT BUY MEAT FROM HERE.
I was enjoying what I thought was a pleasant steak and then looked down and saw 4 tape worms. I don't know how many I consumed but what I do know is that tape worms are super bad for humans and can lay eggs inside the gut and they eat 70% of nutrients you consume from other foods

Products produce and meat are a good value the butchers help alot but when it comes to the till wow they do not care what you buy they throw it across the till damaging and bruising produce only a select few do not do this and provide great costumer service but even staff that have been there 5+ years throw. Your groceries careful who you go to because I spent 40$ and half my produce was bruised or damaged unaccapetable and even the till manager was at fault of doing this just watch your groceries fly through and hit metal objects and damage them. Horrible font end service I am appaulded by this.

Not happy with the Supervisor's behaviour. This was not the first time that we (with my wife) went for groceries with our bike. All of a sudden he (David) showed up and told us with rolling eyes "I don't want to see your bike".

Well, this can't be a behaviour from a Supervisor. There is no sign / notice saying bikes are not allowed.

I would like to request the Manager to provide a clear to customers if bikes are not allowed inside while shopping. If so, please make a sign / notice so that customers don't have to face such unfortunate behaviour. If proper training is required for the staff, please do provide. Else behaviour like this would cost the reputation of the Country Grocer.

Its a small Country grocer store. It hits all the necessities and a little more. I'm use to the larger ones located farther up island so I expected more 'stuff', this one is just fine

Staff is nice and there's some great deals! May be a little pricier than Walmart but it's nice to support local.

This is not a huge grocery store but they have most of what I need. They have an outstanding produce department, and the staff is friendly.

I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this grocery store. It's just close to where I live.and that's about it. Sometimes there's some decent meat sales.

Country Grocer is fine for your basics. I would not recommend it for specialty, butcher or seafood items. Nice staff, good weekly deals on cheese & some basics at the end of grocery aisles by the cashiers. Great little outdoor garden centre with occasionally a super find for something unique, like mid-summer cactus plants. Great community vibe. Suitable for basics. Keep an eye on the flyers for the deals.

My favourite grocery store in town, all the departments are good, they have good flyers, nothing to complain about.

Great selection and friendly staff. Lots of free parking and easy to access and wheelchair friendly.

Good staff have improved the store over the years, excellent management, excepting their continued sale of invasive species in their garden centre. Be wary of overzealous security. They can be quite rude, dont send children unattended. Overall good for a quick shop, way cheaper options around depending on needs

I tried their sushi. Their California roll was amazing. (for grocery store sushi). Rice was soft and the right texture, ingredients in the middle were squishy and yummy. I went a second time and was just as amazing.

A favorite store with quality meats, vegetables and fresh fruits. Many money saving items are offered every week and customer service is excellent.

Always a great shopping experience. I recommend the bakery for their amazing birthday cakes! The cashiers are wonderful too.

Such a great grocery store. Good products, great sales, friendly staff. A very nice vibe doing for groceries in this throwback building!
