I was delighted to work with all the staff here. Taylor in sales and Ali in the business office, also the insurance agent who attended to the switch from my trade-in. Sorry forgot her name in all the excitement.

We were very happy dealing with Taylor (Sales), Ali in the business office and Hailey who was a mobile insurance agent. They were always quick to respond to emails etc.

Not happy with the customer service with the installation of new tires. We won't be back. They cost me alot of money.

As seniors looking to buy what may possibly be their last new vehicle, we could not have asked for a better shopping experience. We live in Sidney, BC and ended up buying our 2023 Kia Soul GT Limited in Courtenay, BC.some 3.5 hours up Island. Glenice, our first point of contact, was superlative in every way. Knowledgeable, responsive, respectful (and fun). Dealership is the 'full meal deal'. From Sales (Glenice) to payment (Ali) to insurance (Halley) and to those who answered our questions in Parts and Service, 100% thumbs up! We have zero hesitation about our ongoing relationship with Kia Courtenay.

October 1st. The worst experience of my life. The Owner/Manager was verbally abusive. I was shaking. I am in communications with KIA Canada and VAS to seek retribution.

The guy running the service department is a liar and cheat quoted us a price with all taxes included and we got the bill almost 100 dollars more than quoted that’s not the way to treat seniors we’ll never go back

Greatest service! I have been going to this dealership for over 10 years with 2 different vehicles. Really great honest service! Had my car repaired several times and each time they've taken amazing care of me. Honest dealerships are hard to find but these guys are absolutely amazing! Above expectations!

Parts guy tried to help me with a small problem of hanging my license plate but the screw rusted out, he phoned Courtenay Collision on Moray ave and Shawn fixed me up after a few tries, I was happy to drive home that day!

Can I just start off by saying wow… all staff were friendly and helpful! I bought my first car today from Courtenay Kia and it was such an amazing experience! Everyone was so friendly, funny, and kind. I’ve always thought car dealerships would always try to upsell you, or convince you you need this and that, but wowowowoow! Such an amazing experience! All questions were asked and answered, and I left with the best possible deal to suit my needs, and a brand new car with an amazing warranty! I was worried my first car would always be stressful but this was just an amazing exeperince all in all! Glenice (I hope I spelt it right, sorry if I didn't!) was so approachable, honest, respectful, and helpful. She explained everything clearly and let me ask questions about anything! My dad came with me and he was super impressed with everything as well, and even got to take home some homegrown peppers! 10/10 recommend, such an exciting and happy experience here! I've had really good experIences with this dealership. Kia Canada, not so much.
But this checkup was a quick friendly service. I only gave 4 stars because the reason I was there was a KIA recall.

Dealership reviewed my concern regarding a scratching noise in the front end of the vehicle, the brakes required replacement. I was given a loaner to continue shopping locally. On my return the car had been repaired, washed and cleaned up inside. I was treated fairly as a customer should be! Thank you Courtenay Kia.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Courtenay Kia. Glenice provided a low pressure, comfortable and knowledgeable experience which I appreciated.

We had a scheduled seasonal tire change as well as oil change and regulate maintenance check. Service was prompt, friendly, and fast. It was discovered that I needed new wiper blades and I was called to gain permission before this extra cost was added to the service. When I picked up the vehicle the results of the maintenance check were thoroughly reviewed. I will definitely continue using this business.

Courtenay KIA service is one of the best.
Everyone one in the service department made sure we got in and out after an oil change with minimal down time.
This is really helpful because we drive from Campbell River to Courtenay for our service, that includes all of our oil changes.
So I give Courtenay KIA service department a big 2 thumbs up.

Came in with an ignition problem. First off, I was shuttled back to my home in Black Creek (which I honestly didn't expect them to do, I was willing to wait a few hours for the bus.) They called a few hours later and said that my starter had been drawing too many amps. Asked for a fair price and I told them to go ahead and fix it. Later, they come back to Black Creek to drive me back to the store. When I get to the store, immediately I have a bad feeling. Despite being told it was fixed, it failed to start 3 times when (who I believe was) the manager tried it in the parking lot. The female receptionist was very kind and talked to me/ got a coffee with me while I waiting for him to drive my car back to get rechecked. Eventually, he comes back out and I go home, still nervous but hopeful. They tell me to call and let them know how it goes, as they'll fix it if there's still a problem. Next day I go to work and after a few deliverers I am having issues, but at least I don't get stranded in town like the first time, and this time I don't have to call a tow truck. (Obviously, it's a bit irritating that there's still a problem but it could have been WAY worse.) Next day I call in and then drive the car back to the shop. After waiting in the waiting room for about an hour and a half (they have a nice waiting room so I was completely fine with it, free coffee machines and free wifi) the manager comes back out and says that while there's obviously something still wrong, they need more time to diagnose it. He lends me a 2020 kia soul to use over the weekend and to take to work. Monday, (today) I'm called back for the last time to the shop. There was a loose sensor and I had a very dirty throttle. They pretty much checked my entire engine and all the parts around it. No charge for the labour or fixing the loose sensor. Completely free. If, god forbid, something else went wrong with the ignition, I trust completely that the people at Courtenay Kia would fix it for me and make the situation right.

TLDR; Excellent customer service from not only the technicians, but the manager and receptionist. They made the situation right when the ignition wasn't fixed the first time. They not only shuttled me half an hour each way, but they lent me a car over the weekend. Would definitely recommend Courtenay Kia.

Told Sheldon that I was coming in the next day with full intentions to drive away in their used Stinger that day. Came in first thing and they were already cleaning it and were prepared for me. Went through the process easily with no pressure from anyone which was a pleasant surprise. Drove away a happy customer and would highly recommend Courtenay Kia if you’re willing to make the drive out.

My experience was very positive. There was no hard sell, no confusing manipulation of the figures from the finance department, no hidden fees. Very refreshing. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. I easily give them 5 stars.

Just dropped in about 4 in the afternoon last Friday and had quite a list of must-haves for the car I was hoping to purchase, salesperson listened and without pressuring me to change ideas he brought out a car for us to test drive. Very happy with car and throughout purchase dealt with a wonderful array of employees. Thanks for awesome experience. Would definitely recommend this business.

The customer service was very pleasant, courteous, and informative. But I was disappointed with the washing of interior and exterior. Many streaks and still dirty on outside.

Mark is such a pleasure to deal with. He always greets you with a friendly smile. He listens to what you have to say and carefully explains everything that was done to the car for that particular visit.

Really appreciated the way I was treated at my last service. Mark explained every detail clearly and the price was fair. Restored my faith in dealerships.

If I could give a 0 star I would.dealing with this dealership was horrible, I asked a staff member a question and she was nothing but rude to me.they really need to fire jenny and hire someone that is a lot more professional. Didn’t buy a new vehicle (Sorento) but my experience looking for one was positive. VERY experienced, knowledgable and friendly sales staff. Vehicles are worth the $$$ and they know it. Unfortunately they wouldn’t “deal” at this dealership so I bought one, leading to two vehicles, at local Toyota.
