Wish the wave pool ran during the day on Fridays. My kids go to a school that is only 4 days a week and it would be nice to go during the day on Friday for the waves. It would be less busy which would help my kids that get overwhelmed during the weekend when it's too busy.
A few years ago I would not have recommended going to the gym here if you were at all serious about weight lifting. However with the recent renovations for extra space, and investment in actual decent equipment, I feel good working out here. Definitely the best value membership in Duncan, as you also get full access to the pool, steam, and sauna, for a lower price than other gyms in the area. Hopefully they will add a couple more adjustable free-weight benches and another squat rack, that's my only real complaint. It's hard to get on those at busy times.
The centre is clean and well kept, they have lots of friendly staff. Lots to choose from: baby pool, bigger play pool, fun river with stopping areas, hot tub, steam room, sauna. We never use the lap pool but it's there and often in use by teams. The slides are fun and well maintained and staffed. Great pool for adults and older kids. I say this because the baby pool is freezing cold with huge water spouts that terrify the little kids. The waves are unpredictability on or off. The pool is generally cold enough that kids prefer the river because it's the warmest place. There is also very little shallow play area that doesn't have water spraying in kids faces all the time. Also, it's frustrating trying to figure out if it's open, you have to go to multiple pages to get this info, and then sometimes there are other activities going on that aren't mentioned in the pdf.
