Disappointing food but it was ok.biggest gripe was how unfriendly the staff was. I’ll avoid this place my next visit because of that.

This place is amazing. Great beer menu. But most importantly, their ribs and brisket are ridiculously good.

Very good smoked meat. This restaurant you can’t miss out on. Nice to have this available in Revelstoke.

Great food and service! Would be a 5, but they have the most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat on. It's a shame since it's a cool place, but my legs were in pain for most of my visit.

Food was ok. 3 different dishes. Hot potatoes chips instead of normal chips would be better;-)

We sat outside on a gorgeous evening and absolutely loved this place. Wonderful server, great selection of beers (nicely described so we were able to choose well), delicious bbq with loads of fresh, appetizing sides (the potato salad is exceptionally good). Plus we fell into a very lively conversation with our table mates and got terrific advice for the next few days of our trip. We count this meal as one of the best evenings of our two-and-a-half month cross-country trip.

Visiting Revelstoke and looking for a place to have a drink and a meal. This was an amazing find! Great service - server described the menue and drink items,
allowing us to make our beat choices. Didn’t disappoint on any areas. What a great meal and drink! And all in house made. We will definitely be coming back.

Cool bar, delicious beer and great food. A bit expensive but worth it. Better to reserve in the main travel season to get a seat.

Mac n cheese isn't even macaroni, though they have some really cool variations of it. Meat looked really good though.

Great relaxed place that had some great beer and service. The bbq is ok but not outstanding.

reviews photos of their food menu are legit. Genuinely great food, as well as a great beer selection. We've traveled to a lot of places, and it's unusual that a craft beer place surprises you with the quality of their food, but here we are.

If you need meat and carbs after a day on the hill ya gotta eat here! Great ambiance, a nice selection of beer and fun mac and cheese.

Great place with a super chill vibe. They have skiing/snowboarding on the big screen and a good list of beers. We really enjoyed the beef rib and the mac and cheese (esp brisket mac). The place was super accommodating of our restless toddler and we saw a lot of other little ones too. They have a fun sparkling Negroni and a few other options for those that don’t want beer. Only missing a pretzel on the menu.

So I went on a random Thursday night. Teenage mutant ninja turtles was on the screen. The line up of "regulars" were perched at the bar blessing everyone in earshot with their cultured opinions. I sat on a beer keg at an elongated table and though "weird, not a chair in the whole place". A dark haired server greeted me with a smile and gave me 2 till tapes with the menu printed on it. It was dark, my eyes arnt the greatest so reading them was overly difficult, not the best way to showcase their food. A regular letter sized print out would have been better at this point. So I order a plate of food. Half chicken and macaroni. Chickens smoked so it's a bit dry, tough outside, flavour was decent but I have had enough chicken in my life to know when im being fed day old food. Mac and cheese was middle of the road too.
I will say this, the young lady that served me was attentive. She smiled and provided very courteous service. I honestly would have given service a 5 but there was some fella behind the bar playing the fool for his bar stool audience.
Food 3, service 4, atmosphere 2. I stand by it. Apparently the briscuit is good, I dunno they were out.

I like this place alot but over the years the quantity of food has gone done and price has gone up. It's still a great atmosphere and friendly staff.

I was really looking forward to our visit here after seeing the menu online. We arrived at 3pm (hours posted online) to find a sign saying they don’t open until 5pm so we went back to our hotel and came back when they opened. This should have been our first clue. There was 1 other table of 4 when hubby and I arrived. We were greeted and told to sit wherever we like. Our drinks and food came fairly quickly (they only had 2 tables!). The food looked lovely but tasted just okay. By this time there were another dozen people that had arrived (not all together). There were 3 front staff on the floor but we waited quite a while to get our bill and pay. This seems to be the theme in Revelstoke. This was the end of September. I can’t imagine what high season is like.

Well, after seeing the owner’s response I can see where the problem originates. Boohoo, they were open 7 days in a row and were tired. That is a good excuse for poor service and quality of food? That shows what they think of their customers. The truth hurts! Instead of taking the constructive criticism he chooses to tell me off. Real classy!

Food was 10/10 good stuff all around. Brisket was so tender and tasted amazing. I’d go back there again! Needs to get a flight of beer option with all the beer options available.

Service was kinda strange, didn’t know anyones name and it wasn’t just one person dealing with us. It was 3 people. 2 of the 3 also gave off the impression that they didn’t want to be there. Strange experience indeed.

Also the chairs suck.

What a unique variety of beers and great smoked meats dishes. It was delicious! Great place for a meal.

Well that does it: Revelstoke is the new Vancouver for me. I live in Kamloops and will rather travel to the Craft Bierhaus for their food and beers. Absolutely amazing place where everything coming out of the kitchen looks and smells phenomenal. Very cool summer town.

Great spot for beer and food. In summer they won't serve hot food till 6: 30pm over all experience was great we enjoyed it very much.

Food is great, moderately over priced. Wait staff gives the impression they’d rather be anywhere else though, we filtered through three different waitresses, none of them ever introduced themselves and we never knew who we were gonna get next. Makes the experience pretty impersonal

Went with my wife and daughter for dinner and had the whole smoked roast chicken with a few sides. Hands down the best tasting chicken I have had in years. Generous portions of the sides which were excellent. Would highly recommend if in revelstoke!

We went here for dinner and it was a long weekend, they running out some of there food as it was a busy weekend, which is understandable the server was very helpful which drink and food we can get. Big serving of the food.
Overall it was worth to try there food.

The smoked meats were very good! Had the brisket and the beef rib. Both were exceptional and the sides were good as well

Don't miss this place! If you're lucky enough to be around when a DJ is playing you are in for a treat. Great beer selection and awesome menu

Delicious beer and food here as always. The Mt. Begbie Oatmeal Nitro Stout is perfection.

Brisket was delicious.

Mac and Cheese was good.
(although I'm a little upset they changed the 'Your my Boy Blue'. The altered chicken one isn't as good IMO. Please bring that BACK!)

Cod cakes were very delicious and flavourful.

The bratwurst Mac and cheese was just OK. I think the bratwurst could be grilled prior to addition to Mac and cheese and it tasted a bit dry.

I always stop here when passing through Revelstoke and will continue to update my review as I try more foods!

La carte des bières est impressionnante! À noter qu’il s’agit de bières artisanales, donc plus dispendieuses, mais sinon il y en a pour tous les goûts. Il y a même des bières que je n’ai vu nul part ailleurs. De plus, les repas sont hauts en couleur et un rapport qualité-prix remarquable car les produits sont locaux et frais. Une perle à Revelstoke! C'était une expérience culinaire! La bière et la nourriture sublime! J'ai mangé une salade avec thon saisi grillé légèrement avec grains de sésame! Mmmm

Waited a long time for the Mac n cheese. It was decent, not a lot of flavour so I asked for hot sauce but the waiter never brought it. Not the best service

The place is cool, I love that the chairs are from beer kegs. However, the ambiance isn’t really welcoming especially that guy server. We came at 8pm and they close at 11pm so we have a lot of time but this guy is in a hurry. Like he wants us to leave already. They don’t have any food when we came, just beers. We still gave him a tip though. Bad customer service.

Terrible service, enough said. The guy working the front door should have checked his attitude there first.

Cool place, cool staff. Great craft beer selection and the smoked beef mac & cheese was terrific! Recommend!

Juliette was phenomenal and our drinks were only exceeded by the tastiness of our food. 10/10 recommend. Just don’t sit next to nerds.

Beer selection is best in Revelstoke. The menu is small but yummy. Check it first to make sure it's your thing

The Mac and Cheese is awesome, and the Ramen is on a whole other level. Having the best beer selection in Revelstoke doesn't hurt either!

The ramen is delicious and Trevor is doing his staff and community a solid keeping them as safe as he can while still operating! If you're from out of town order takeout and come back after the pandemic! Please be respectful humans.

Owners decision to not serve certain people but in my opinion that's ridiculous so I'll leave them a 1 star. Zero if I could!

I try to visit the restaurant yesterday for dine in. Unfortunately they refused to serve me because I wasn't from Revelstoke. The situation was very unpleasant. After this experience I understand the concept of the racial segregation. Please put the signs in front of the door that you don't serve tourists to avoid future humiliation.

Liked the food. Worth the money. Initially, we were not sure about the restaurant. But after having our first dish, we again ordered another dish. We are vegetarians, so it’s sometimes hard to get the good veggie food. Ohh buoy, the food was yum and healthy. Keep it up!
Just for reference we ordered Veggie Stack and Cheese Please! I can’t define how yum was Veggie Stack. Personally I liked it. Cheese Please was so so.

Do not go here if you are not a resident. You will not be served. Stance is hypocritical to the max.

Meanwhile, other businesses in Revelstoke have been thanking me for my business, you are sending me away.

I will say this has not been my experience elsewhere in town. Hotels want your business as do other bars and cafes. Safe practices are in full effect at most places and this particular instance has been a total outlier in this otherwise fantastic town.

First of all your initial response is unreasonable and you have changed it 3x times now. Your first one was insulting, comparing me to an American tv commentator?

Also you are not being truthful: in subsequent responses to others you state: “for the first few weeks in May we didn’t allow non-locals in” or words to that effect. Incorrect. I was there first week or so in June and here’s what I saw:

Multiple (3-5) people on top of one another in the smoking area

Not a single mask in sight

No social distancing at tables with gaggles of people on top of one another like it’s 2019.

Signage posted out front saying locals only

Inquisition by the bartender asking about where people reside.

Admit it, you got caught and called out for ridiculous/hypocritical behavior and are trying to hide behind “health guidelines”. Which “health guidelines” in BC are you referring to that specifically say you are not to serve non- locals? Who made you judge of who’s allowed to enter town?

There’s a REASON the local newspaper put a picture of YOUR locals only sign in their article that came out June 11th. This restaurant is the ONLY establishment that I could find evidence of doing this in all of BC. You’re either open and safe for everyone or you’re not.

And it is hypocritical when your clients 100% are overheard talking about biking in Whistler or Squamish etc and are in your bar. Zero difference than someone outside of town so long as YOU and THEY follow proper protocols mandated by the BC government which I wonder if you were actually following in the first week or so of June that you were open to only locals.

You tell a great story tho, all sorts of virtue signaling.

Sept update: the owner has copy pasted some non-sensical gibberish about being in a group (he did the same thing to other reviews as well.), seems to be the de facto response. Ummm. I was by myself? It is definitely interesting how much of an issue you seem to have communicating with patrons over something every other bar in BC seems to have figured out and is able to do without much fuss.

Long and short of it is that this business is trying to enforce its own interpretation of recommendations the BC government has laid out, resulting in an often unpleasant and surprising interaction if you don’t know what you’re in for.

I was having a lovely time drinking delicious sours until I went to the bathroom with my mask on, saw a friend on the way back from the washroom and stopped to say hi and was yelled at by the waiter. He proceeded to give us a long angry speech that made the remainder of the experience extremely awkward. Would not recommend unless you enjoy getting yelled at.

They will only serve full time residents of Revelstoke. Great motto to turn away tourism. Welcome back in the summer? No thanks. This place should be boycotted. They clearly only care about locals even though tourism is what makes this town float.

Came to revelstoke to snowboard for the weekend and found this establishment for eats and a drink. Got asked what neighborhood we live in and got denied for not being local. Feel rather offended for being discriminated against for being from out of province.
LGBTQ friendly but clearly not alberta friendly. I'd suggest to avoid if you're not from around the block.
