Craftsman Collision

Three thumbs up and kudos to Manager Dave Warren and crew at Craftsman Collision. While the repairs to my Prius did take longer than expected due to difficulties in sourcing parts (It's a Japanese domestic model) I couldn't be happier with the end results. Suffice to say that Dave went more than the extra mile, in my case by including free of charge (!) some extra paint work that was not a part of the original work order. Service was always friendly and professional and I highly recommend Craftsman Collision on Cotton St.to anyone who needs to go through the often difficult process of getting auto body work done after a collision.

August 16/23 …. Wow! I had the opportunity to meet the people that work at the Cotton Road, North Vancouver location. I had a unique circumstance. A friend was selling her car to me. It was getting repaired while she is recovering from surgery. So I needed to get insurance on the vehicle. Her husband and herself had signed the transfer papers but had not signed the ICBC portion to release. They both are in care homes at opposite ends of Vancouver. Dave (manager) kindly had his guy run me to the Sea bus station (also offered to pick up there). Got one signature but did not get the other. Dave sensed my urgency, because they closed at 5: 30 as well as the Auto insurance. Lent me a courtesy car, gave me directions and off I go. Got the other signature, and the insurance on time. Cannot thank Dave enough for his quick thinking and his staff for making my day less frazzled. The car was fixed and cleaned and now I am a proud owner! Keep up the fantastic work!

For the second time, Craftsman Collision has provided exemplary service. Mike, at the North Vancouver branch, went out of his way to ensure we got what we needed done within the time pressures that we had. Everyone there is so friendly.

Absolutely horrendous experience. I’ve been using craftsman collision for 10 years. They’ve had my truck for 2.5 months. For the last two weeks I was told it would be ready in 2 days and they would call me. I never received a single call from them, I always had to call them. Finally today they said it would be ready and I could pick it up at 6pm. Dave said someone would meet me. I arrived at 550pm and no one showed up. I saw the truck in the parking lot and it looks terrible. Over spray all over the window. Didn’t repair a mirror that was meant to be covered and re installed broken trims around the window. I will never trust this company with my vehicle again and I’m appalled at the lack of communication and constant lies I was told by the staff. Do not bring your vehicle here for repair.

Poor communication. Didn’t tell me that they would not work on a certain type of vehicle before I made the appointment.

Car went in on the 14th of December for an estimate for ICBC and is now the 29th of December and still nothing. I ring up everyday to be told that it will be done the following day which it hasn’t. I understand it’s the Holidays but they’ve had the car for nearing on three weeks and still no one has looked at the car. Quite frankly I’d ridiculous and appalling especially after the first time I rang up they said the estimate has been done and was waiting on the go ahead from ICBC. When I rang ICBC to confirm this was not the case. This was a week ago and still nothing has been done!

Some minor damage to my car prompted me to seek out Craftsman Collision and I'm so glad that I did. The team made the entire process painless from start to finish. Will definitely go back (if I need them).
