Cravings Brookswood Coffee & Bakery

There was a cafe in Langley with a good reputation run by a Korean, so I stopped by with my friends and I was very satisfied with the food service. The muffins were large and good for sharing, and the sandwiches were not too thick and were just the right size, so they were easy to eat. Above all, the cafe latte was excellent! I'll have to stop by again next time^^

Very delicious donuts and the Christmas donuts are so pretty! The drinks tasted so amazing. The strawberry latte was my favorite The sandwich was filling and so good Decent amount of veggies and meat! The interior is so authentic and welcoming. The employees were very nice and my drinks came out fairly quickly! Always a nice place to visit highly recommend

I go there lots. I really like there lemon bars. But my favourite one.is there cinnamon buns.

I definitely recommend the iced mocha, or Spanish latte. The quality on the drinks and muffins are always consistent on how good they always make them. Expresso muffins are delicious

Came here based on the reviews, definitely worth stopping by. Love the choices of donuts for what was left. Would come again. Had the cream cheese donut with an ice coffee

A hidden gem in Brookswood, my wife and I have come here often for brunch (she loves the chicken salad sandwich here). It's a smaller Cafe run by a Korean family who are always friendly and welcoming, they have a good amount of selections on the menu for reasonable prices, and some delicious baked treats as well

Just stopped by this afternoon for the first time. Lovely ladies behind the counter, great selection of treats, display was bsaically cleared out so that should tell you who are desired their pastries are.i tried the chocolate cream cheese cookie and OMG. Delicious! I will be back everytime i head that way!

Love the hot food here. Coffee drinks are not strong but you can taste the quality. The baked goods are excellent. I enjoyed my grilled cheese & soup combo.

Cute little bakery and cafe with yummy doughnuts, muffins and sandwiches. The staff are delightful.

Egg and cheese sandwich was fresh and good. Wish it had at least one vegetable on it though but for $6, I guess you get what you pay for.

Fantastic coffee shop with arguably some of the best fresh baked donuts and muffins we've ever had. If you drive by this place to get an awful, plastic donut and watery, gross coffee from Tim's. I have no hope for you. Great local business run by a great couple, very friendly.

Hands down the best London fog and chai latte we’ve ever had! Not to mention the absolutely delicious food menu and scrumptious treats! Friendliest staff too! Can’t wait to come back soon.

A clean, quaint spot to grab some coffee or tea and one of their freshly baked muffins, donuts or croffles. I had the cinnamon sugar and a dirty chai. Some gluten-free options and lots of sandwiches and wraps too. Will definitely return to try more!

My fiancé lives in Montreal but every time he visits him and I head to Cravings at least 4 times a week. Their donuts are so fresh and taste amazing. Hands down the best i’ve tried. Don’t get me started on the iced coffees. The married couple that runs this business is also so wholesome and super kind. I suggest everyone visits.

Stopped by here to pick up some coffee and treats for a customer and it was so delicious. The owners are so kind. I'll have to come back to try more things off the menu.the selection is so good!

Over rated. I suspect this place is rated highly here because it has almost no competition in the area it serves (Starbucks and McDonalds are both within 100 metres). The decor of the cafe itself is quite nice. Three red flags struck me as soon as I walked in. 1 -pastry wrapped in plastic wrap, 2 -a secondary case crammed full of pop and other 7-11 style items and. 3 -the beans they use were not displayed anywhere. I had a muffin a doughnut and an americano. The muffin was dry and flavourless. The americano was horrible. It was flavourless save for a bitterness that reminded me of bulk low-end catering company coffee (Canterbury etc.) The doughnut was not special. It was very colourfully decorated but not remarkable. I think this place has shaped itself similarly to other style over substance, appeal to the kiddies places like Black Tiger in Clayton. Colourful but dull and underserving. To be fair, Black Tiger does, at least, use and display a decent coffee roaster. Cravings left me craving something to get the weak and bitter coffee taste out of my mouth.

Since this place has been taken over by new owner again this year, prices on Thursday for has increased.

While the food had flavor, their fresh muffins have suffered in quality.

I use to love getting the fruit muffins like cranberry bran or Cinnamon Apple. However as you will see in these photos, fruit in the muffins is nearly non existent and what fruit is on the outside, it it's now flakes instead of whole fruit. This is a current photo of cranberry bran.

As much as I liked coming here for my Saturday breakfast and coffee, I'm now ready to move on to something else since the owners are cutting corners on food quality.

Update - Sep 2021
Since the old posting above, the cafe has changed ownership again.
The current owners took over in early 2019 and made some changes
First noticeable change was that they reduced prices when they took over.
Second, they revised the menu slightly. Unfortunately, fresh sandwiches made on the fly are gone. They did expand their fresh salads though.
All muffins are made with the same base unlike when I first visited this place back in 2007. The muffins were better than the last owner was making, just wish there was more fruit in the muffins that works have them (apple/oatmeal).
Some seating has been lost since the start of covid for health and safety reasons, overall I'm back to having this place as my main goto coffee shop.

Tried the breakfast wrap -it was okay, a little bland just filled w/ plain boiled potato and egg.hangover sandwich was really good. Iced London fog was nice flavor wise but too watered down. And the Earl Grey donut was soft but the icing lacked flavor, was more of a classic glaze taste.

Absolutely fantastic place. Friendly people, good food and sweets, and great coffee. Kept their washroom open to essential workers all throughout covid.

The great quality food and service are a real treat to have in town.
Certainly is a lot better than any big chain coffee shops!
PS.the donuts are amazing.

The new owners have really improved it, last owner ruined it for me.through friends telling it awesome again, I went back and yes great food great coffee, better deals friendly owners. I do wish they could be open Sundays

This is the place to go, for studies, reading, or conversation. Much quieter than Starbucks. Clean, very friendly, with lovely, gentle music and decor.
Oh, and good coffee. Haven't tried food yet. Donuts supposed to be very good, and I'm afraid of getting hooked!

Three weeks later: Yup, tried the donuts, early in day. Staff say they are baked every morning. I believe it. Very fresh. Nothing better with a good coffee. Hooked, as feared.

Wish to keep this cozy cafe a secret.but how can I not show support for their lovely place? They even had a $1 coffee promo the day I went: D

Excellent, friendly service. Good coffee and wonderful selection of doughnuts and other pastries. The raspberry cream muffin was amazing.
