Selfish receptionist with poor listening skills and a bad attitude, and that was first thing in the morning. I'd hate to run into her in the afternoon.
02 October 2023 20:11
Generally have had bad experiences with receptionists, they are either in bad mood or foul mood. They made it very clear they don’t enjoy their job. The doctors are fine though.

Edit: I was trying to get my records transferred from my retiring doctor’s office to cross road, the receptionist KNEW she has to send me the consent form to sign FIRST in order to start the process of record transfer. Instead I was told to contact my old dr’s office to initiate transfer. So I was confused getting turned down at my old doctor’s office in person, and call the cross road office to initiate the transfer immediately. I was greeted with impatient and rude receptionist on the phone who made me feel incredibly frustrated and STUPID for not knowing how to do her job. Let’s face it, no one wants to deal with receptionist full of attitude while being sick. Needless to say, I am sorry doctor Kwong. You just lost a new patient because horrid receptionists.
30 September 2023 23:37
They asked me to go see family doctor or go emergency they don’t take appointment.we are repeated clients so I m not sure why they said that to me super rude. I guess I got a bad call agent. When I called again the other day everything is fine again.
10 September 2023 7:29
Receptionist over the phone is grumpy, provides minimal information, wouldn’t let me finish my sentence and just cuts me off. This is the healthcare system we are paying into? What a joke
07 September 2023 3:58
Doctor has among the worst bedside manner I have ever even heard of. No sense of discretion, professionalism, or compassion. Avoid if possible.
15 August 2023 2:34
They asked me to go see family doctor or go emergency they don’t take appointment.we are repeated clients so I m not sure why they said that to me super rude. It’s the family doctor line. I just didn’t know which number to push and reached them…
09 June 2023 19:01
Not a walk-in clinic anymore unfortunately. They said they’re only taking returning patients, and almost exclusively via appointment
02 June 2023 13:20
Worst costumer service, the receptionists couldn't be more rude and lazy, they make you feel bad for being a patient. I don't know if the administration are aware of the way they treat patients, but I definitely don't advise you to go to this clinic!

Do better, you’re dealing with people that need health care, but first of all you’re dealing with human beings!
24 April 2023 8:38
I can't seem to get in here no matter what I try. Their phone line and website says to call to get in the queue to speak with a doctor. I call the moment they open and they say they are already full for the day and don't offer any explanation or alternative. As an existing patient it is very disappointing.
18 April 2023 18:23
Had an appointment booked with Dr. Tony Lee and he never showed up! We waited for over 30 minutes before the receptionist told us that he thought the clinic was closed b/c it was a holiday. Very irresponsible and incompetent of him. Totally wasted our time. Very disappointed at the lousy non service! You’d think he’d care to check and not make assumptions. My 12 year old daughter know these basic skills.
30 March 2023 23:07
The worst receptionist for ever. The physiotherapy clinic receptionist was so rude. I would never ever suggest this place to anyone.

45 people commenting about rude receptionist.
What a joke place to go
02 March 2023 5:51
In 2020, I was new to Vancouver, and started coming here. Nothing but professional, positive experiences with all of the staff. Highly recommend!
13 February 2023 11:23
The reception is confusing and people working there are not very welcoming or helpful. I have seen three different doctors at this clinic and none of them was able to help me, or provided any insight into next steps when their initial impressions proved to be inaccurate. The 'care' element of medicine is severely lacking here.
14 December 2022 20:37
This clinic was dope in 2019 and early 2020, and i made appointments for all my regular tests and drop ins. The walk in clinic was the easiest for me because I worked in the area at the time, it was big, and they had lots of doctors, even if the wait times were sometimes a little ridiculous. The last time I went was early March 2020, right when restrictions started. I believe I waited about 3 hours in the waiting room, and another hour in the doctors office before anyone saw me.
Since early 2020, this clinic has completely stopped doing anything, i'm not sure they even have patients. I cannot find a way to make an appointment, they closed their online wait list, and I believe they are not a walk-in clinic any more. They say they only take past patients, of which I am one, but there is no information on how to make a booking. Calling yields nothing. I have requested my medical records twice, no response. They don't respond to emails at all.
I am aware there is a pandemic, and the strain on doctors offices are heinous. I'm OK with waiting, so long as I'm actually responded to at some point. I send emails weeks/months apart, waiting for a response, and have received nothing. Phone calls never go through, and having worked as a receptionist, phone calls are stupid anyway. Emails are WAY easier to keep track of who emailed first, who has simple inquiries, and who needs more information. Technology is available to them to make their work a little easier, but they are not taking advantage of it.
They aren't worth it any more. All the five star reviews are old. Next time I'm in the area I'm going to drop in so I can try to get a copy of my records, though I expect to find a locked door and nobody inside. I'm convinced the place isn't actually there, perhaps it got sucked into some liminal space and only exists if you manage to find a staff member to look at lmao.
I suppose this is the world we live in now. I'm going to report this business as closed.
28 October 2022 23:15
The reception staff here are miserable and unhelpful. In their ideal world, no one would ever get to see a doctor, no matter how terrible the condition. Working a little with patients who call or walk in to offer suggestions or helpful and specific advice would go a long ways rather than yelling “no” and slamming down the phone.
20 May 2022 13:21
Though the doctors are good and caring, the reception staff leaves a lot to be desired. I just had a receptionist hang up on me, after getting mad that I could not understand what she was saying on the phone multiple times. She should take some enunciation lessons.
15 May 2022 13:03
Crossroads has been my family doctor clinic since 2010. Dr. Pei Ti Hsu is extremely knowledgeable, efficient and an excellent listener. She never rushes my appointments and listens to what I am saying. Crossroads is an excellent location and front staff also kind.
22 April 2022 20:24
Other than dealing with a doctor the service both in person and online is terrible. I got booted from the waitlist twice because they had an old health number on file. Then after being put on the wait list after calling them, I'm told 30 min, two hours later a doctor calls. For another issue, I asked receptionist to fax my prescription to London Drugs (this is after choosing your pharmacy with the online booking system) as I would not be going myself to pickup medications due to mobility. WITH A CAST ON MY HAND SHE ASKED ME TO WRITE DOWN THE FAX NUMBER.even after I pointed that out she's like "what's the fax NUMBER, " so passive aggressive and no compassion. Super bubbly gossiping with her colleague though, has the time for that. This clinic takes on more than they can handle.
18 April 2022 8:29
An awful experience. Please don’t go there. Very unprofessional personnel from the receptionist to the doctor. I am never going back.: (
13 April 2022 1:30
Their website doesnt work plus they dont pick up the phone.i dont think they are working or just want they want to work.sweful service
03 February 2022 7:10
I want to warn anyone considering taking their child to Dr. Seen Chung not to. He’s verbally abusive and short tempered which renders him ineffective as a doctor. If you do some research you’ll find that he’s worked in a number of Provinces at a variety of locations, all giving him terrible reviews and recounting terrible experiences with him (even malpractice). I’m very surprised Crossroads has hired someone like him at their clinic.
23 November 2021 16:49
They rarely answer the phone. The reception staff doesn't listen, some of them have difficulty communicating in English. Twice the doctors have forgotten to submit the Rx they recommended to the requested pharmacy. In general it feels more like a medical factory rather than a clinic where your health is the main concern.
11 October 2021 16:33
Zita Rutkuna is dangerous. Avoid this clinic so you do not have the misfortune of encountering her. I urge you to read all the reviews of this doctor, start with rate MD and see the pattern of abuse - it's horrific, sadistic and vile.
03 September 2021 16:30
I have come to this clinic twice - once in 2018 and then again a couple of weeks ago - and had great experiences both times. The new booking system is cumbersome but it is not difficult to navigate. The doctor called me back in a shorter time than suggested and was able to get me in to an appointment right away (this was on a Thursday morning). I have found the doctors and staff supportive and helpful.
16 August 2021 5:06
2.6 avg review. Not a chance. They are doing fantastic job. We dont have a family doctor however we feel like this is our
09 August 2021 18:57
Every doctor I have seen here has been helpful and provided what they can when I'm there. It's unfortunate that getting through to them is such a lengthy, drawn out process every single time, even for something as simple as nasal spray prescription for allergies. I've had this prescription for years and this is the only place that treats it like rocket science for whatever reason.
01 August 2021 21:32
Current system for seeing a doctor is difficult. Do not show up to the clinic. You have to call, register for a phone call and then you might have an option. It's basically a half day on the patient. I'm sure there is a reason due to covid but I'm sure there are more efficient ways of doing it.
29 July 2021 6:27
The booking platform for this clinic is broken (medimap). When I called in, the receptionist refused to let me make an appointment by phone.

Exceptionally poor service.
28 July 2021 14:43
Doctors have been great would recommend highly but the phone lines are always down and the website booking doesn't work either. They need to update the system, it's very frustrating.
22 June 2021 3:53
I was referred to Dr. Ming Lum. There is someone at the front door to ensure covid protocols however the tone taken bordered on hostile. Everyone is well aware that we are in the midst of a pandemic and do not need to be verbally accosted when seeking medical help. After my appointment, I stood in front of the reception station for 10 minutes and not one of the 5 receptionists looked up to see if I needed help. I had to make a follow-up appointment to have stitches removed and did not know which reception window to go to and none were interested in helping me anyway.
07 June 2021 18:59
The woman at the door greeting patients pointed the tepetire gun right at my head even though I put my wrist out because I told her I didn't want it at my head. She ignored me and violated me by taking it at my head anyway. Then gave me a blue mask of their own to wear even though I had my own, they said mine wasn't good enough.
11 February 2021 1:35
I called the clinic and I had an appointment booked in the next 2 days.
At my appointment there was no less than a 5 minute wait time. I had a professional and courteous doctor who gave me my treatment and out I went. This is one of the best walk-in clinics I've been to in the Greater Vancouver Area.
29 January 2021 0:27
I had a virtual appointment with Dr. Yung today, and it was such a great experience. I had all my questions answered with care and patience. Thank you so much!
28 January 2021 12:11
Front desk folks are terrible communicators, not so happy to help with any miscommunications either.
05 January 2021 16:49
5 min wait times, professional service. Only thing I would recommend is implementing reminders for appointments either by email or by text. Great overall!
31 December 2020 17:10
The phone receptionists are the worst. I agree with all the past comments. You can feel the unwillingness to provide any service at all. The doctors are ok.
06 December 2020 7:49
The doctors are great i have had good experiences but reception is horrendous.try to see if your preferred doctor can be found at a different clinic.
30 November 2020 3:46
Just had a virtual appointment for my swollen eye, they asked me to send a picture of my eye before the appointment and i got to speak with the Dr.on the phone only an hour after I called the clinic! Great service, everything went quite smoothly.
03 October 2020 18:59
I came here for a virtual "walk-in" during COVID19, so I checked in online and waited for a phone call. Dr. Kwong called me within half an hour (as the website informed me someone would), and she was courteous and thorough in going over my symptoms and scheduling testing for me. I highly recommend this clinic. I also spoke with one of the office staff members briefly, and she was professional and efficient.
19 September 2020 3:00
Unfriendliest and barely understandable front desk person I've experienced in a long time.hope it's not a sign of what's to come on my actual appointment
17 September 2020 5:09
I see a lot of reviews here criticizing the receptionists. This may be one of the busiest clinics in Vancouver. If they are in a rush, it's because they're handling an insane amount of calls. I don't have a family doctor, so this is my go-to clinic whenever I get sick. I see a different doctor each time, and every single time I've had a great experience with an empathetic doctor. I just got off a call with Dr. Wozny who was able to write me a prescription and fax it to my local pharmacy without me going in physically. Thank you Dr. Wozny.
08 September 2020 2:54
I called and followed the operators instructions, selected #5 from the options to wait on the line for walk-in queues. The woman who answered the call was completely rude and unprofessional. She hung-up the phone without politely ending the call. Very disrespectful and unprofessional on all levels.
06 September 2020 3:09
All these negative reviews are completely unjustified. It is clearly stated when you call that due to Covid you will have first a virtual appointment (in short, a doctor will call you first). It is a walk in clinic but it is also a clinic for many people in Vancouver who don’t have family doctors or have to wait months to see their family doctors.to all the negativity, I will say only this: doctors at Cross Roads saved my life because they were paying attention to something my former family doctor completely ignored. I am glad I went there and have been going there regularly since 2014.
27 August 2020 15:37
This is NOT a Walk In Clinic. You FIRST MUST have a phone consult with a Dr. Who then decides, if you need to make an Appointment to see them. Waste of time if you need to see a Dr on the same day. None of the above information is posted on their Website.
26 August 2020 13:55
Absolute heroes! I had been suffering with a clogged ear for about a week. I had tried all the home remedies and was desperate to avoid going to the Doctor, especially at the moment with much bigger community concerns like COVID. It got to the point where I was feeling dizzy and nauseous and that was my tipping point, I needed to see a doctor as it was not going away with all the home remedies and ear drops I was using. I rang the clinic at 11: 45 this morning, had a call back from Dr Angela Lee by 12: 45 and was in the clinic by 13: 00. In and out super quick, ear flushed, hearing back, nausea and dizziness gone. Genuinely great service from start to finish. Staff all super professional, definitely will go back to them again if I need anything else. Thanks for all the help and keeping us safe. I appreciate you all:)
26 July 2020 16:17
Terrible staff, blew me off at the door until I walked back in later. Appears that they forgot my appointment. Complete waste of time.
12 April 2020 1:57
Honestly what a joke. They haven't even been open 15 minutes and they told me the wait is minimum 1.5 hours!
06 April 2020 1:59
If I can give 0 point, I am sure to give them, wheh them heard that you are a foreigner, they just want to charge you $210 No matter just want to check the body temperature
22 March 2020 3:19
What a joke. Arrived 20 minutes after they opened to be told that they aren’t accepting patients. Only one doctor on staff
21 February 2020 16:38
Highly recommend this clinic. The doctors here very patient, they listen and explain everything clearly and carefully.
I'm satisfied with this clinic
13 February 2020 22:52
Receptionist mixed up my health file with someone who had the same name. So when I got my prescription it was for another Nicole Doucette, and I could see her address, number, etc. Needless to say I had to go back to the walk in to get the prescription revised.

Patient mix-up is a pretty serious matter though.
05 January 2020 15:53
If I could just give zero star, then I would! Came in for my wife's follow up, we came in at around 9: 45am, there was no people waiting so she was told it won't be long. So we waited, after almost an hour we've noticed a lot of people are coming in and out quickly but obviously we were ahead of them. So after waiting for more than an hour. We followed up with the receptionist and said doctors are closing charts which a lousy reason! Obviously, the receptionist forgot to log in my wife's name. Specifically, the receptionist in the far left! Go somewhere else! The reviews are correct! Their receptionist are not the friendliest, no smile, no hi, no how are you. Might as well just hire robots!
20 October 2019 21:58
Crossroads is a good walk in clinic, and is picking up the slack from the walk in clinic across the street closing down. Sometimes longer wait times, but good service.
Wait times are visible on Medimap App.
09 October 2019 15:05
Had a really positive experience. Yes there was a wait time - but I was able to leave and came back with out issue. The young lady dr who saw me was interested, knowledgable and attentive.
I have to say I was really impressed, especially when stacking then up against other clinics I have been to.
Thanks for making me feel welcome!
10 September 2019 17:41
I had a 1.5 hour wait (was able to go home and come back) but the wait was so worth the service. Dr. Julie Lacuna was caring, provided excellent service, and didn't rush the visit. Thank you!
30 August 2019 16:00
I came in with increased heat rate, shortness of breath and chest pain and was told a 2 hour wait. Staff need to learn to assess emergency
30 July 2019 6:47
This clinic takes advantage of patients. I am in my third trimester, followed by a midwife and had to stop working since I’m in aviation and could no longer fly let alone walk for very long. My midwife gave me the necessary paperwork to stop working but since my insurance company insists on a note from a medical MD I had to find a doctor, who could fill out the same form. I came to this clinic as they charge only $15 for a doctor note. When I gave them the form, they said they could only sign it for $70. This is absolutely absurd!
25 May 2019 13:24
I don't know how such a place could exist. Terribly incompetent doctors who don't care about helping people at all. I had a UTI untreated for over two weeks, because the doctor said it wasn't that, didn't test my urine during the first visit. On the second visit, when I came with low grade fevel, fatigue, pain in my bladder, he insisted that it wasn't a UTI and said it might have been a virus, that's it. Then I insisted on a urine test, they quickly checked it at the clinic, it didn't show anything. The doctor said they have to send it to the lab to confirm, but he is confident it will come back negative. I got a call from the receptionist three days after to come in for my results, also she said that it WASN'T URGENT. I came in a couple days later, the fever was gone by then, but was still having other symptoms. The other doctor who I saw to learn my results said I had a UTI! When I confronted him, asking how it is not urgent, when I've had an infection in my body for two weeks, he said - yes, it is not urgent, it is only urgent if you are pregnant. When I said that untreated UTI can be dangerous for kidneys, he said that I am a young healthy woman and it shouldn't be the case. I will let you decide for yourself if it is acceptable or not. Anyway, the treatment he prescribed - an antibiotic for 5 days didn't work and I am still struggling with this. I've taken three antibiotics since then and it wont go away. Only to think that if I went to a competent doctor who is able to diagnose a UTI, there is a good chance it would be treated fast. I am absolutely disgusted with this place.
17 May 2019 13:28
The staff was rude and aggressive. I needed a simple medical form filled out for my driver's test and as my GP was not available on the day I had off work to take care of testing and forms I thought a walk in clinic could help me. Not this one. They told me that it would cost 200 plus dollars and were mean about it. I guess my time wasn't worth anything and now I will have to take extra time off work. This is a terrible walk in clinic. Get ready to get your wallet out and be ready to experience rude staff.
15 May 2019 5:57
When I called them, They said that I can come in 30 mins and the doc will attend me and when I did they said that sorry we aren’t taking patients anymore and it was just 7 pm, they close at 9 pm
I cabbed it all the way from Richmond only for a genuine antibiotic for high fever
And this is what they did
They should’ve said no in the first place.
