Crowsnest Vineyards

Firstly I was not planning on reviewing the winery. I sent an email airing my feelings and did not get a response.
I had a booking to stay with my Rv and also for a dinner reservation.
I had been here a couple years ago and had a great experience. I parked in the same spot as I was directed 2 years ago and got out to check with the desk to see if that was still the right place to park. I was screamed at by the owner/manager that I was not to park there. And I mean screamed for the whole patio to hear. It was very unprofessional and unpleasant. He did not give clear instructions on where to park. We did park and went in to confirm our booking. He was behind the counter and merely glared at us and did not say a word. A server took our info but it was clear that he was not happy about her speaking to us. We went back to the rv and decided that it was too uncomfortable to stay here with such an angry reception.
Would not recommend a visit.

Would like to add that on my first visit I dealt with Anna and she was very accommodating and friendly.

Your response is a bit late and not very respectful to a customer. You are in essence saying I am lying about our experience. My friend and I were very disrespected and it was witnessed by customers on your patio.

The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was delightful. I highly recommend the restaurant, one of the greatest I’ve ever been to!

First time to spend one night here. It’s a house with 7 guest rooms on upper floor, while ground floor is a small winery shop and family style restaurant. First impression upon arrival, u can always see mosquitoes flying around.
As a group of four, we shared two rooms, each room is a small one with two single beds. The rooms were tidy and clean with simple furnishings. Upon entering, we encountered a number of mosquitoes that we had to spend time getting rid of. Additionally, the air conditioning was very noisy and the beds made noise whenever we moved, which was a bit of a nuisance.
We joined the wine tasting in which there were 6 kinds of wines available for tasting, and the tasting fee ($5 for 3 kinds) was waived with any purchase, which was good.
We also had dinner at its restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of the food. We ordered the burger, house salad, chicken Alfredo, and pork schnitzel, and all dishes were delicious, esp its homemade pasta and bread. It's no wonder that the restaurant was popular with locals and visitors alike. The only downside was that we had to contend with the mosquitoes during our meal.

They provided complimentary breakfast including homemade bread, boiled egg, a plate with cold cut and cheese. Again it was good.

Overall, although I couldn't sleep well due to the mosquito issue and the noisy air conditioning and bed, the place is acceptable in view of its good price. But definitely the restaurant food is excellent.

Gorgeous location, fantastic service, and excellent food but the bed was hard as a rock and very uncomfortable.

Pizza was alright. For an Italian owned establishment you should have ground Italian sausage as a pizza topping option, as well as parmesan and crushed chili pizza shakers available. Server didn't ask how the food was or if anything else was needed for our food. I had to go to the counter to order a soda and a refill, ask for a pizza takeout box for left overs, and to ask for my bill. The burger entré was good the first time I came here to eat. The server who has blonde, curly hair, that she wears up, is the best server onsite.

Owner overcharged me for my room. He acknowledged that I was overcharged and said that he would refund me that amount. Despite asking multiple times over the course of the month, he has yet to refund me my money.

I finally had to phone and the owner yelled at me because I was upset that he hadn't refunded me my money.

We chose a picnic table on the grass fully expecting a table umbrella.nope! Very hot day! Ordered pizza x 6. They were not good.the spinach was gritty, the toppings were skimpy, the dough was very doughy. One place had about 1/2 cup of ashes on it from the wood oven. Not impressed at all!

We stopped here for lunch on our way home from Osoyoos. What a beautiful treat. Think fluttering grape leaves and tall, espaliered apple trees as a back drop to a truly delicious lunch with a European inspired menu. Local veggies, homemade pasta, lovely wines. A total experience. Will make this the drive home tradition along this route from now on!

We stayed for the Canada Day long weekend. The stay was lovely! The room is small but clean and comfortable. Great air conditioning. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. Good location with walking distance to several wineries and a distillery. We would absolutely stay there again.

A great place. We stayed here while visiting the wine regions and were very happy. The Crowsnest had very clean rooms, fantastic food and very good wine. A very relaxed and pleasant stay

Live music was a great selection of songs.

Food was delicious

Seats and atmosphere was fun and lively. Not posh or stuck up. Go here to have fun and enjoy!

A real gem nestled in between majestic mountain views and vineyards, this place was a real treat. The food was top notch, definitely don’t want to miss the Crowsnest!

Stayed overnight at the guest house and had dinner in the restaurant. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet with great views of the vineyard and beautiful surrounding area. The food and wine at the restaurant were excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. Everything was very reasonably priced.

Excellent stay! We booked this spot randomly as a pit stop along our road trip and we were very pleasantly surprised! We wandered through the vineyards, had great wine, and enjoy delicious food. I would highly recommended this spot to anyone, especially for an overnight stay.

So far we have been here for dinner a couple times and everything has been excellent. Super relaxed atmosphere and the food and beverages are all very good. We have had the same server both times and she is super friendly and makes one feel like they are at home with friends rather than somewhere pretentious. Highly recommend and we will be back again!

Absolutely fantastic winery, restaurant and B&B! After spending a night there enjoying live music and wood fired pizza we already made plans for a return visit. The owners and their staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make everything first class and fun. Their wine and home baked breads are all awesome.

Following a day-long trip from Port Moody, we arrived just too late for a tasting, and the dining area closed for the long weekend. "No worries", said Sascha, "I'll make you a charcuterie board. " And so he did, a generous plate for three served with their most excellent 2020 Riesling.

Breakfast next morning, following a quiet and restful night in the very comfortable room, was brought to our room.

A most pleasant experience.highly recommended.
