We had a 25' for 16 days in September October 2023.

Compared to German motorhomes, this was already a state model, but in Canada it was more of a small recreational vehicle, or RV for short.

It had everything you needed and was very good-natured. We also drove around 300km of gravel roads, which is actually not allowed, and had no problems.

All of this even though the vehicle was no longer brand new.

5 people actually go in, but 4 people are much more pleasant because then the dining table can stay permanently.

For hygienic reasons, all mattresses are covered with rubber like school mattresses. It is therefore advisable to bring a topper or something similar with you or buy one locally.
The sheets in the package are very thin and are on thick plastic.

The check-in and check-out of the RV was completely hassle-free.

Before you set off, you should still check all functions carefully,
e.g. Whether all cupboard doors and drawers work and remain tight.
From experience, this can quickly get annoying, but it wasn't a problem for us.

We had good Michelin M+S tires.

Unfortunately, these cars are quite gas guzzlers.
We shelled out around CA$1000 (around €750) for the 2200km.
The campsites also cost an average of CA$35 per night. You should plan for this in your budget.

The toilet and water tanks are enough for about 4-5 days of normal use without you having to be very careful in solitude.

You can therefore also camp wild.

The two batteries were always reliable.
This and enough gasoline are essential in the wilderness. But the gas tank is huge.

By the way, there were twin tires on the rear axle, which is good in muddier areas.

Nevertheless, the car is of course not an off-roader, but more of a cruise ship that can sometimes do something. Also 200km of bumpy gravel roads.

Inside there is a display with the filling levels. This also applies to the gas that runs the auxiliary heater and refrigerator.
There are also municipal discharge and supply stations in many cities.
All Co-op gas stations have propane.

All of this was very simple.

We did the classic tour over the mountains to Alberta back via Whistler and finally Vancouver Island.
We had only booked 1500km for this and ended up with 2200km on the clock. Canada is just big.
We also simply took detours because the landscape was more beautiful there based on a recommendation. That just sucks.

We used the Wikicamps Canada app for research, where wild places are also provided.
The tips from Cruise Canada were all very valuable.

We had a great, relaxed tour, even though the first week was very, very rainy.

My suggestion for improvement would be to forego the strict pick-up and drop-off times in the off-season. They usually take away a whole day of vacation.

Super nice staff, very accommodating and explained everything well. Vehicle C25 Super and without problems in the 3 weeks.
Were very happy with everything.
Gladly again. Rented in Vancouver Delta.

Please value your customers’ time. Confirmed twice regarding the pick up time but still waited for 1 hour to pick up the RV.

I cannot stress enough the gravity of the disappointment, danger, and stress our family experienced due to Cruise America's shockingly negligent service.

As a father of four, including a 3.5-year-old son with autism, I planned an RV vacation believing it would be a serene, comfortable, and memorable journey for my family before my oldest daughter leaves for college. What we faced instead was an abysmal nightmare.

The RV we rented was marred with numerous safety issues and discomforts: intermittent air conditioning in extreme heat, deafening structural noises, an unbearable exhaust leak, faulty steering and brakes, useless vibrating side mirrors, and a malfunctioning Blackwater tank that filled our RV with a nauseating stench.

Our attempts to resolve these problems were met with astounding indifference. Despite numerous calls and attempts to escalate the matter, we received zero follow-up, no returned calls, and no efficient solutions from Cruise America. They even had the audacity to suggest we drive hours off our route to get a replacement RV, with no consideration of our predicament.

The entire experience was filled with distress, sleep deprivation, and anxiety, especially for our young son with autism who was particularly affected by the constant problems. This was not a vacation - it was a perilous journey that subjected my family to undue hardship and risk due to the appalling condition of the RV and the unprofessional response from Cruise America.

I am horrified at the gross negligence, lack of empathy, and complete disregard for customer safety demonstrated by this company. No family should have to endure what we went through. This is an absolutely unacceptable way to treat customers, and I urge others to think twice before choosing Cruise America.

Until Cruise America takes immediate action to rectify this situation and make significant improvements to their service, I will continue to share this horrendous experience and caution others against their services. A vacation should be a source of joy and relaxation, not a harrowing ordeal. With Cruise America, unfortunately, it was the latter.

Overall it was a good trip. The only mishap was the shower door fell off wile driving. Could not get it back on because of missing pieces.everything else worked well. Check in and check out was fast and painless.

Hired a C30 from the Vancouver depot. The vehicle was ready on collection and the staff showed us how everything worked before we set off, returning was painless and even arranged a cab to the airport for us. There were some options that could be paid for at the Rental Station, we paid for Zero damage waiver and LPG in advance.

Everything worked in the RV and it was great to drive and the fixed bed at the rear was super comfy. It had Air Con in the living space which was helpful given the High 30c temps we had. Super large fridge and freezer which worked really well.

We had unlimited mileage plus pack which came with towels and bedding (all brand new) and a kitchen pack with unlimited use of the onboard generator which we used once during our 2 weeks.

If your not from North America it's worth noting these are all Petrol engines and not very economic over the 2500KMs we completed, but other than that no complaints at all.

Rented an RV from this company for 2 weeks. First we were sent out with a fairly old C25. During the first night, the RV came to life, and it turned out that there were mice in the walls, cupboards, sink and the poop also showed inside. This went on every night. Contacted rental during day 3 and got tip to place mouse traps that we could declare. This was not a pleasant and effective solution for us, so at the end of the week when we were 'near' the rental again, we went back to ask for a new RV. We were helped quickly and friendly and immediately received a brand new RV. We were super happy with this and it really saved our vacation, but at the same time we also felt a bit short-changed with the earlier RV. The new RV rattled much less on the road, the kitchen kit turned out to be complete here (earlier spatulas, sharp knives, cutting board and certain pans were missing, while quite an amount had to be paid for this), the water heated up well and everything looked fresher.
So as a final tip: check whether everything you have paid for is present and ring the bell immediately if the quality is not correct. Our second RV proved that it can all be done perfectly, but apparently not everything is checked properly.

Cruise Canada RV rental is a easy ride $48 (2023) from nearby Vancouver airport we used the recomended green cab. When we arrived rental RV was ready waiting short walkaround describes all the operational need to know's and thats it off we went. Did I mention credit card deposit. Returning RV is just as easy drive it into yard enter office announce your return request cab and your on your way in abouts 15 minutes. As for the RV we rented the large 30' model visiting the Gulf ilands fuel milage was not a concern mostly BC Fairy ride RV was clean and all aspects functioned propane being primary energy source even when pluged in.
Yes we will rent again!

We recently had a terrible experience with this company. As someone with no prior experience, I found that the employees rushed through everything too quickly when picking up the rv.
To make matters worse, the camper was not in order as a mattress was missing. When I contacted the main office, they claimed to have forwarded my email to Cruise Canada in Delta, but I never heard back from them. When I mentioned the issue again during the return, I didn't receive any apologies.

For two weeks, we took great care of the camper, even going so far as to take it to the car wash. I am absolutely certain that we didn't hit anything, yet I was still forced to pay for damage to the wheel. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done about it.

Overall, I found this company to be absolutely disgusting. Their customer service was terrible, and they didn't seem to care about their customers' needs or concerns. I would highly recommend avoiding them at all costs.

We have used Cruise Canada RV Rental many times in the last 3 years. We love that we can book for just a couple of nights or longer and we aren't locked in to booking for a week. We usually go camping with a tent but during the winter months the RV rental lets us get out when it's too cold for the tent. The vans are always clean, ready on time, reliable and easy to drive. The pick up and drop off are quick and easy and with options like propane top up and holding tank emptying it takes the pressure off trying to find these facilities before dropping off the van. The price is also great and you can take your dog, at no extra charge. I wish more companies understood that camping is about the family having fun and that dogs are part of the family. For first time renters there are helpful videos to show you how everything works and you also get a full instructional brief before you hit the road on your adventure.
