I love this place. I was in there today with my mother and couldn’t be happier with the crystal’s we bought. It’s a wonderful place to shop and the young lady who works there has a heart of gold and has a beautiful energy. Customer service is great and the products are always of highest quality. Overall one of the best crystal shops to shop at! I’ll be back very soon!

Adorable, little shop! Bought some very purple amethysts and a super reflective sun catcher from here. The size of the shop is cozy, and the woman with black hair who helped me was knowledgeable and kind. Their prices are also reasonable. Would go again!

The Crystal Ark is iconic and offers unparalleled selection of holistic crystals and unique specialist artist jewellery items. I now live in the UK, and again the people who make the company work so beautifully surpassed all expectations. Fun little gem and rare stone shop, just really cramped! The rock garden in the back is interesting!

I have shopped at this store many times over the years being a local. Did not get good vibes at all from this place on the day we went. Walked in and didn't receive any welcome. Walked around checking out the beautiful crystals and was watched the whole time and even had staff fumble around with placing crystals in the shelves right beside where ever I was in the store at the time (being watched) and being made to feel very uncomfortable. I should mention the store was not busy at all, maybe 2 others in there besides my son and I. She never asked how we were doing or if we needed any help. More customers walked in and were very nicely greeted and asked if they needed any help. We were there for about 20 mins with no hello, no can I help you, no how are you doing today.no nothing just looks. I will never go there again because of this.

Honestly the best crystal shop I’ve ever been to. The ladies working are always so calm and extremely nice! This is my favorite place in Granville island! ️

This crystal store is a good place to grow your collection. They’ve got a rather large collection of calcite, fluorite, amethyst, selenite, peacock ore, tourmaline, lepidolite, and most other crystals people search for. Most of their crystals are reasonable priced too. I managed to get a few large pieces for around $22. I deducted a star because I noticed the store sells what appears to be white sage, which is sacred to indigenous people. It’s not something to be bought or sold, and is endangered due to over harvesting. I hope that I am wrong, and that it was garden sage or another variety, because otherwise this is a lovely little spot.

What a beautiful shop. Incredible selection of products for the small size. The crystals all feel great, highly curated, and all beautifully displayed. The staff are lovely and helpful.

They always have an excellent selection of crystals that rotates regularly. They also sell sage, Palo Santo, abalone shells, etc. And jewelry.

So many crystals! I like that they put the prices on them, made it so much easier to decide. Staff was so helpful and knowledgable. Bought the cutest ones! Nice place to spend a chunk of time while at Granville Island. Wait be a bit long due to 7 person limit due to covid but well worth it. Thank you!

One of the staff members would not keep their mask on. She had it off 90% of the time I was in the store.

Really good items inside the store however when i went the staff was super unfriendly and judgey.definitely made my boyfriend and i not plan to go back anytime soon:/

I went on Wed and bought a agar pendant, this young sales lady made a necklace out of a black rubber string for free to go along, I am sure she will make one for you too! Excellent service and smile!

I was just there pricing out a sizable amount of rocks for a present to my mother who is a high priestess and uses them in her outreach work. The place as very busy so I was doing it quietly in my own. I had a mandala in my pocket and was fidgeting it while I went about my business.

As I was leaving the store to go think about what I was going to buy from them. I was stopped by the staff and accused of shop lifting. "I saw you with a pendulum in your hand? " I showed her my mandala and turned around and left.

Immediately vowed to never shop there again.

I always have to go to this store every time I visit Granville Island. They have a great selection of stones and jewelry in all different price ranges. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

As stated in previous reviews, this place has bad vibes. I’ve been to many many crystal shops, all with warm inviting energy, but this one felt very bad. In previous reviews as well, it is often mentioned that many had a bad experience with one certain employee. I did not have that experience however she has very negative energy that I could immediately pick up on as soon as I came within a foot of the door, which really threw me off. The prices are fine for some things, cheap for others, and expensive for other things. Selection of nice medium pieces isn’t there really. It’s either tiny polished stones or large natural pieces ($100+). If you don’t care about healing crystals or energies, then this place will probably be fine for you.

One of my most prized possessions, my large moldovite stone was purchased here - the best selection and price for crystals in Vancouver imo.

Excellent place, I would recommend it to anyone, a wide variety of Crystals at very good prices, with a wonderful, loving, uplifting atmosphere. It is nice just to be in the store and feel all the positive energy, Hannah is very gracious and helpful with education about the crystals you buy. I will write more later why.

Great place to see and shop for different crystals and raw stones. Always have something new added in store. Price is very affordable and I buy some crystals every time visiting Crystal Ark. Staff are friendly and helpful when I have questions. I saw some bad comments here about Crystal Ark. As a third party I want to voice out that the kids visiting the store are always noisy and some of them pick up the crystal to play but not handle crystals carefully. Parents do nothing about kids' inappropriate behavior and allow them to disturb the sacred ambience in the shop. This is a decent crystal shop and not a playground for kids! According to the service standard I am afraid that you will not be served well all the time in Vancouver. There is a serious shortage of manpower for junior jobs such as sales and servers in Vancouver. You can see hiring ad.everywhere. When the owner has hard time to find staff, they just hire anybody who seems best suit to the job without many choices. I agree that staff needs to be knowlegable about the products they sell, it takes time to train though. For those who complain poor service they received before please also protest to Canadian government for their incapability to solve the manpower shortage problem that leads to the poor service you get in daily life!

I have lived on Granville island for 28 years. Each time I visit this place have been treated so badly first I thought it just might be me. Till last Friday I went there to get a few crystals. I picked a crystal and she says so you know this costs $2.00. I looked At her and said I know. I felt so small. So I was not wrong they have made me feel like this over the years. Today I found a new place. So I will be going there from now on.
I am of color that’s what I felt. Very condescending behaviour towards me. What a shame.
