This place is a wonderful alternative to our other amusement park in Vancouver. Very pleasantly themed and clean. It is small, but that's part of the charm. Lineups were not long for any ride, we were there the last weekend this year and never waited more than 5 minutes for any ride.
Horrible customer service.a young employee named Niko refused to let us buy snacks for our children. He told me they were closing but i saw snacks there. They could have easily just let me buy it it’s just a snack. He also told me he was not on the register anymore but I know he was lying, this happened a few weeks ago. Next year I hope it’s not the same
The only thing stopping this from being a five is that theres no spectator cost. We took a group of 7 kids and five adults, and two adults didn't go on a single ride because they were there specifically to help and they had to pay to be in there. Other than that, this place is spotless. The bathrooms are always being cleaned, it's not too crazy busy like at playland so younger children can enjoy themselves more.
I go there every year and it used to be fun. Used to be because this year, not only they've changed their business model, they also developed an unpleasant attitude. Their business model is basically 'give me all your money'. And they don't let you out. If you go out, say, you forget something in your car, once you're back, they charge you again. You're too old, or too big for the rides, just taking your kid? Who cares, you have to pay all the rides. They think that they are Disneyland. If you want to keep your insanity, don't go.
It was a good experience for the price. I was just disappointed they dont have extender belts for all rides. I only needed it for two rides and only one of them had it. Otherwise it was great.
Slides are fun, but could be a bit of a wait for the popular ones. Lots of tables and shades. Great place for families to take the kids. The lazy river is shallow enough for toddlers to walk in. Washrooms are clean. Paid parking right in front and free parking lot about 200m away.
Great park to bring the kids for a bit of fun. I would give this place 5 stars but the parking was expensive, they had limited options for food (nothing healthy) and the staff were young teens/ adults that weren't that friendly. All in all it was fun and would do it again
Not as many rides as I thought. Still a fun place to visit, and definitely good to have fun for my parents. They needed this break haha. If you want to go here take out two hours of your day because you'll easily be able to go on each ride, for the price though I'd have to say it's not the best but definitely not bad.probably won't come again but worth the visit. Although 3 dollars for a single water bottle.seems a little crazy. My favorite ride was the water bumper carts, it was soo much fun.
Wow what a great day for the children. They love this place and it was totally kid friendly atmosphere. As lo g as your child is over 4 foot, their good to go. Have a blast I know I did. By the way no line up.
Easily enjoyable! Way better then splash down! Lines may seem long but they go by fast. Crew there is keeping it clean and organized.
The adventure park was amazing! Lots to do in such a small place!
If you have tickets for the morning water park, be there about 45 minutes early to line up if you wanna beat the first rush. Got in so many rides in 90 minutes!
Great fun spend all day with kiddos , will come back next year, some of the facilities we ride so many times, over and over, once you entered can not go out, the only thing make us confused is the parking ticket, you need to paid for ticket at first before you entered otherwise you will get 60 dollars fine for penalty it's not like Waterpark you paid In the end When you go out, so please make sure you paid parking ticket first at this adventure park if you decide to go. Otherwise when you got the 60 dollars fine will ruined some fun
Wonderful place for kids, most of the attractions are for small ones and I think just 4 of them for adults. The parking is 7$/h but if you park on the other side of the street at the Water park parking is 10$ whole day. I recommend to bring some food because they have only hot dog (6$), fries with chicken strips (11$) and it was full of salt.
Great place to enjoy the rides. My boys loved it. The only complaint is we bought the 2.30pm ticket but didn't allow to get in until 2.45. I wish they would have arranged it better so that those who bought the 2.30 ticket can get in on time.
Park is great. Kids enjoy a lot. Would appreciate some new stuff to boost the experience. Very pricey parking ($25 for r hours) since this year, hence the 4 stars.
The layout of the park is great! Easy to get off one ride and onto the next. I love how many trees there are for shade and that they have misters going to cool off! The couple downsides are that the rides don't fit larger people (my husband's chest was too big for Round Up) and some seats were tight. The other thing is it's a small park and less thrill rides for the price. After being at Calaway Park for so much cheaper it was a hard pill to swallow.
Our group got disgusting, condescending treatment from a girl named Finley who works at the Rollercoaster, and also other disrespectful teenage staff members after that. Submitted a complaint. Waited 2 weeks, no reply. Followed up, got a reply saying they're experiencing high volume of emails and will get back in 10 days. Very disappointing.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of rides at this theme park. I always drove by it over the years thinking it was a kiddy theme park for little kids, but there were some pretty wild rides for older kids and adults as well. The only problem was their bumper boat line appeared shorter than it was. It takes a lot of time and effort to bring back each boat each time. We ended up wasting 45 mins in line because 5 of the boats were broken, and they didn't double up the small kids 7 and under. The worker asked a family to pair up with their children because it was taking forever to get everyone through the line up. The family straight up refused when their kids were like 5-7 yrs old and could have easily paired with their parents to make the line go faster. It was really inconsiderate of the family and the staff should have apologized and told them they had to pair up because they ran out of boats. Also the swings were broken: (
Nice place but it consider little bit pricefir the quality of the rides also the parking is expensive and small. Need to assign parking area only for adventure park like the one on the water slides across the street. Limited food options and needs to improve that.
Over priced parking. $25. And they tell u AFTER u pay that it's only $10 at the waterslides across the road. No wait times for rides though so that was good
Very fun spot. Super busy on warm days and the drive to the actual park is bumper to bumper for around 25 mins. Very amazing facilities so definitely worth the commute.
First time going and our little family loved it! Wait times for rides was short. Food was readily available. Attendants were helpful throughout the park and very friendlyChildren have a new favorite place!
Went on a Wednesday at 7pm for the cheaper night ride pass. Lines were quick, could have been more to do for younger kids but overall it was a good time.
Great park for children 3-12 years old. I love how the park has literally been designed around a stand of older Douglas Fir trees; it's a unique experience.
We went for the first time, it was great! Kids 7,6,5 years old really loved it! Wish I had taken my 12 year old to ride with the little ones that weren't tall enough to ride alone (I don't love rides and had to buy a wrist band since they weren't allowed to ride alone on many of the rides). It definitely is for younger 5-10 year olds but there are still a few rides the bigger kids love. Much less busy/hot than PNE/Playland. Will definitely go back for a few more years!
It is a very safe place to take your kids. The area is clean and packed with fun. You can get deals here if you opt to ride at night. I would caution parking in the Cultus Lake parking lot though. They will give you a ticket within minutes so head straight to the machine. A better option is to park at the waterslides and pay less money or it is free after 4: 00 for night riders. Also, Cultus Lake in general is a nightmare for traffic and parking on the weekends. It is much more enjoyable to visit Cultus during the week.
Always a stop when I visit Cultas. My family has made it a ritual to go mini golfing here every summer. The attention to detail with the course construction is impressive and you feel like you’re in a mini Disneyland quality theme park
We went in the evening, after 7pm the ride pass is is $18 reduced from $29. There was a decent selection of rides, even for my 2½yr old. There wasn't too long of a wait to get on most rides. The only complaint I have would be that my 2yr old's ride pass cost the same as my 18yr old's pass did. Kids had a great time.
Best theam park in BC. Unlike playland where you either have to have little kids or kids over 58" Cultas Lake is perfect for kids. My son is 46" tall this year at cultas lake he could go on every ride except for 3. When my parents took him to Playland he could only go on the little kid rides, the kids coaster and the scrambler that was it. He was so unhappy and felt left out. We took him here and he had the time of his life.
Love it here small park but a lot to enjoy the way they mapped this place out is genius the rollercoaster goes above everything so it take no space all the rides are enjoyable for all ages and you dont pay if your not riding I cant wait to go back next year mini golf is included
Man, I'm not 16 anymore. The freaking honey pots got me dizzy! Then there was the kids spinning roller coaster. Why, why did I do this? And then the upside down spinning swinging tilting rocker of doom. That was it, I almost lost my lunch there!
If you want to feel like you are being investigated by the RCMP for murder, this is how you do it. Cold sweats, check. Dizzy, check. Guilt for doing things you know you shouldn't have done, check!
Really nice well maintained amusement park. It's a real bonus that theres no admission fee. So the parents dont have to pay to get in if it's just the kids that are gonna do the rides.
Compact, clean & will sized amusement park w/o being overwhelming & losing your kids. Our 3 & 7 yr old loved it & while our 10 yr old wanted more thrilling rides, he still enjoyed himself.
Its a clean facility. Kind of expensive. Buy the all day wrist bands and pay for all day parking for $15. It is a smaller amusment park. But its good for younger kids and older ones
