Cultus Lake Waterpark

Great place to visit and have lots of fun with the family. Be warned that this place gets very busy and line ups can get very long leaving you in line for over an hour in order to slide.

There is paid parking available close to the entrance as well as free parking which is located down the road which is an approximate 15 minute walk.

The pricing of entrance and food / snacks inside are expensive.

The slides available to ride are awesome! There is a slide for everyone to enjoy even small toddlers.

Park is Average. The Parking Lot Ticket guy Will make your day at the park fun with a $100 ticket. Most memorable experience at this park is the Parking Ticket. Sad but true: (. My Fault for even coming here in the firsr place.

This park started in 1984. The facilities are in reasonable shape considering its age. There are slides/play areas tailored for each age/risk-tolerant group from toddler to seniors. Staffs are friendly and attentive to guests' safety. Bring your slippers with you when hitting the bathroom, which might be the one of the few weakness of the entire park. Hot tubes' sanitary might be the next. Park get crowded by 11am on a weekday in August, so can't imagine the busyness over weekends. Each ride's queue takes around 15 minutes. Scan the park to find the shortest line might save your some time. Portable tent is a must-have for hot days and for better privacy. Rental umbrella easily knocked down by wind. Cargo cart is prevailing in the park and essential if you carry lots of stuff with you, but the park thoughtfully offers a loading zone right in front of the entrance.

So I should begin by saying that I LOVE water parks usually and was really looking forward to coming here; however health and safety really didn't seem to be a priority at this place.

Saw a boy cut his foot open while queuing for one of the group tube slides, resulting in blood running everywhere and him screaming in agony - none of saw how this happened but presumably he trod on something sharp on the metal floor.

We (4 adults) went on the aforementioned slide where we all sat on a huge ring.and I honestly thought, halfway down we were all going to get seriously hurt. The tube was shooting so far up the sides of the slide as we went down we thought we were going to fly off the edge and/or the tube was going to flip like a pancake ending with us whacking the slide. It was honestly terrifying and not in a good way. My husband hit the rider in front of him and nearly broke his nose. After this, despite being in the water for only 25 mins we called it a day.

The toilets were disgusting- overfilling with excrement and blocked. The jacuzzi tubs resembled human stews as they were crammed with so many human beings it looked as though you could barely move in them.

To be honest, we almost never went here because we almost missed it on the highway. If you're on your way to Banff this is place is a MUST for a stop over. Really fun outdoor waterslides!

Always sold out and No give! Good for the park but bad for the people who come from far away and don’t know.
Tried booking multiple times but everything is sold out. A person over the phone said come over and maybe they will sell you a ticket on the spot. When we got there, after a 2 hour drive, the people in the front said sorry we are over sold for today. Waste of time!
Here is a tip.
If you already drove all this way, and was given the bird, drive another 20 minutes to the bridal falls water park. It’s not as big however it is better in many other ways!

My son and I had an amazing time at this water park, usually my son doesn’t get to go to water parks because most places refuse to let you go down with your child, we loved that there were several tube rides that we could enjoy together our favourite was colossal cannon. He also loves pirates cove and the hot tubs. My only complaint was that the water needs to be warmer especially in the spray park areas, if it’s not super sunny out you get pretty cold waiting in line. I also noticed that
That there is a lot of fuss about the no renter y policy which I don’t understand at all there are signs everywhere and it’s pretty hard to miss, lockers are available to rent so going back out shouldn’t be needed. I highly recommend if you want a day of family fun.

A great Waterpark that provides so many covered picnic tables, first come first serve. Great rides, great value for the price! We have a great day every year.

Super busy and long line ups but very worth the wait. Friendly staff and overall fun. Only disappointing part was the change rooms and bathrooms were filthy. I also didn’t get my refund for returning the locker key.

Cultus Lake is a beautiful place for any age with many enjoyable water activities to explore.

Beautiful spot to enjoy sightseeing. I recommend walking along the water.so picturesque houses and cozy spots to discover.

So nice place for kids and.adults also for fun in water rides, neat and clean rides, but some of staff so slow workers, useless waiting for ride but overall is fine

Overall fun in the sun. But it is expensive. The entry fee the food, and even the drinks are expensive. Parking is also $10.

Went on a weekday and overcast. You have to pre-buy tickets online. The place is clean and well staffed. Saw a person come out of one of the slides unable to orientate themselves and struggling to get their head above water. Young women lifeguard was in the water almost instantly. Great place for a family outing. You can bring your own food too.

An excellent day out with the kids. Very well organized and run. Lots of thought has obviously been put into making an enjoyable experience for all visitors. Clever touches like lots of picnic tables with shade, lockers you can return to that don’t require change, and returning your locker deposit in cash in the exact amount that you will need to pay for parking. The token system for snacks and icecream is also clever because you can give the kids tokens they can use later. Very impressed. They also limit numbers so the lines are never too long except for the most popular rides later in the day. We had a great time. Highly recommended.

The website to pre pay tickets is a bit finicky. We requested Waterpark but ended up with adventure park tickets which is non refundable. Had to purchase ticket then for water park

Do the free fall! Was fun and almost zero lineup.every other ride had from a 10-20 minute wait

My daughter likes this waterpark. We had a great day here.

Easy parking. Quick check in (We arrived 10.10 in the morning). $10 parking and $10 umbrella rent is acceptable. Great grass for rest with fresh air and great view. Grab&Go food is good.

Make sure you get everything you need before you leave your car. No return allowed.

One problem is it’s really overcrowded. We went there on Thursday. It’s beyond its capacity so that every slide has a very long line, especially in the afternoon.

Updated Aug 23: I have to take off one star from my previous review. The wasps totally ruined our day. My daughter got stung and no matter where we went to, the wasps were flying everywhere. Then we found a wasp nest on a pole in the middle of the waterpark. We had to leave there early because of the wasps. Terrible pest control!

First time here and we had lots of fun but they need to re-think their policy on pre filled reusable water bottles. I get people can sneak alcohol in them but they could just sniff them. As well we saw on the website main page snacks and food were allowed in. We brought subway sandwiches for lunch and were told to throw them out or put them back in our car. The park doesn’t even sell sandwiches so we were really not happy to have to get rid of them and now we’re forced to buy their overpriced pizza slices and hamburgers for lunch. I could see if they don’t want people bringing in pizza/burgers as they sell those items but to not be able to bring in a sandwich from a restaurant is silly. Wait times also later in the day were incredibly long. Good thing we got in a few good slides first thing!
