Cupcakes at Metrotown

Worth the trip, it tastes so good, so sad they got rid of their west van location, definitely a try good quality!

Just purchased TGTG today. But the amount of food is ridiculously little. I felt I’ve paid full price for the few mini cupcakes without any discount. What a joke.

This place is what made me love red velvet with cream cheese frosting but this time the red velvet was rock hard. I contemplated if I should microwave it to soften it up but that would have ruined the icing. I am so disappointed at this place. What happened?

0 star for the 0 customer service.the girl at the counter couldn't even answer simple questions about their cupcakes.lack of knowledge and unprofessional behaviour.will not go back due to the poor service.

My daughter loves these cupcakes as do I. They are not too sweet and the buttercream icing is very good. My only complaint today is there was no tape on the box when I ordered their largest cupcake and the cardboard box kept on opening up and unfolding completely. Very frustrating, annoying and made a mess of the beautiful icing and toppings.

Extremely disappointing experience! We ordered specific cupcakes for our gender reveal party and the cupcakes delivered were not even how we had asked. They even charged us deluxe for it and the whole party was bust. When we called and told them all they did was say sorry for mix up.

Please do not visit this place for birthday cake order.
These people are taking the order and promised to give you cake and on last day they will refuse to deliver the cake.
Really unprofessional.

The success of the business isn't only due to the flavour. It would help if you also were friendly with your customers. I used to be a regular customer, but not anymore. It’s a shame this kind of customer service.

Would never buy cupcakes from here again, overpriced and underwhelming. Ordered two big cupcakes for occasion, was charged extra for decorations. When I picked them up, all it had was sprinkled on the side, the name written on it and happy birthday… I had to ask where the decorations were that they charged me for. Then the lady took the cupcakes back and put on two pieces of fondant stars.that’s it, she even ruined the writing on it while doing so. The cleanliness, she kept touching her face, hair and then decorating the cupcakes… I guess the ones I got is garbage now. Luckily I got a cake from another bakery….

Worst cupcake I ever had! Over priced, a tiny bit of frosting and dry cake. And they expect a tip!

They did an incredible job decorating my custom cake! We almost didn't want to cut it because the image looked so great

I’ve been getting cupcakes here since Cupcakes originally opened and enjoyed watching the show years ago. I grabbed a few the other day and the price was shocking. The have shrunk considerably in size and the icing tasted very artificial. They look nice but have lost what they used to be.

I always purchased their cupcakes, I also purchased for my roommates, coworkers and classmates, everyone loves it! I totally recommend it.

Am not sure how they are still in business but apparently people like deserts with just sugar in them. Better off going to Tim Hortons and buying a sour cream glazed donut

Ordered a wedding cake from them. They waited until an hour after we picked up to tell us they gave us the wrong cake. The red velvet was dry, had no hint of chocolate, just tasted like a red cinnamon cake. People were leaving cake on their plates and we received many complaints from guests.

They offered 0 compensation for ruining the wedding.

The worst cake I have had in my life. Place needs to be shut down. The cake is 100% sugar. And probably but the sugar at a discount price

I was there few weeks ago and bought 2 cupcakes. Usually the cupcakes is moist but both of them I bought it was super dry. Very disappointing and wasted my money. Not sure if I will be going back but will see.

I have one question do I only allowed to pay only credit cards/debits cards? Or can I pay cash? Because I absolutely love these cupcakes from this place specifically because I used to eat your cupcakes from here at your location in Vancouver but then it was closed a couple years later!: (!

My Favorite pick up Cupcake place. I always take in pairs. My most favorite one is Red Velvet Cupcake followed by Blue Hawaii. Pick up once every month. Yummy cupcakes near me.
Also ordered a Custom cake for my nephew. Was really good.

Cakes and cupcakes are OK. Looks nice at store but packaging is poor. All the icing were smudge on the lids. Happened more than once despite me being so careful with it. Needs higher top lid.

Tried two different cup cakes. Presentation is well executed but taste a fail. Both cakes were dry and frosting was tasteless and just really oily. They should really rethink their recipes.

The cupcakes here were quite underwhelming. They are moist but unfortunately lacking alot of flavor, including the frosting which was disappointing. Otherwise well executed looking cupcakes, but too pricey for the quality. (I had the Red Velvet Cupcake)

Outstanding service here. I was looking for a cake for my wife's birthday, and with it being on Halloween, every cake shop was super busy. The staff at Cupcakes were able to accommodate my request within a less than ideal time-frame. They were incredibly helpful during a busy part of the year, and I am so thankful. The cake itself was custom, the detail was spot-on, and the marble layers were delicious. They were able to carefully package it so that everything stayed intact. I ended up picking up a few cupcakes as well, since I couldn't resist, and they were fantastic.

Got the marble hello kitty cake here, and it's so cute and delicious. The smallest size is good for a small gathering (5-6 people). Their cupcakes are good too. I think this is the only location that can do the hello kitty birthday cake. So nice.

We bought a pack of 12 mini cupcakes and 2 big cupcakes. They were so fresh and delicate, instantly melted in the mouth. Great job guys
