Was on a 3-week motobike-trip and it was awesome.great company with a great customer-service.had an issue with the bike, but the communication with the company was perfect and the problem was solved very fast.so no reason for any complains.highly recommended! AAA+
Epic is one word to describe the experience Cycle-Bc will provide any renter of their bikes. I rented the 1200 Gs. It was a perfect 4 days of some of the best riding of my life. I really mean it! Being from Ontario and owning a gs I already had experience on this bike. The process of renting was flawless. The staff are amazing and super knowledgeable. The bike itself even though it has 90k already drives like new still. I recommend this to any motorcycle enthusiasts. Will be back again and again and again:)
Excellent interaction with Cycle BC from start to finish. I did drop the bike doing a slow-speed u-turn which I felt horrible about. The cost to repair it from Cycle BC was beyond reasonable; they clearly care about their clients and their business.
Super awesome staff, great service and pricing. My partner and I each rented a motorcycle on Saturday, but our trip didn't turn out as planned. My partner rider wasn't ready for the road and we had a low-speed tip over. There was minor damage and she was super anxious about the cost. We handed our bikes in soon after as she was too nervous to continue. The staff were super nice about it and the cost to repair was incredibly reasonable. She will be going for more lessons before we try again, but we are looking forward to coming back! Thank you for the short, yet great experience!
Amazing experience, and the most workers helpful workers. Tom and Lucas were phenomenal and incredibly kind. Lots of options to choose from and very easy rental paperwork.
Rented a city bike from here today. Prices are affordable and the bike is in excellent condition and good quality. I paid a little over $20 for 2 hours! Service was friendly and efficient. They wanted to make sure I feel comfortable with the bike before renting it so they let me ride around the block before I took off. Can’t wait to come back!
Rented bikes here for 4 nights for very reasonable price! Love the complimentary helmets and locks. Staff is super nice and helpful, would definitely come back again:)
These guys are great, I rented bikes from them several times. Great customer service and helpful staff. They even offer local advice on routes to take for a motorcycle trip.
Very honest place and quite efficient. I sign the contract turn around, a bike was already waiting for me with an helmet and a lock. I wanted the bike for three days. They told me: "You pay when you bring the bike back". Turns out I made a flat so decide to return the bike back after two days instead of three. They did not charge me neither for the flat nor for the third day. This place is not about extracting money out of your pocket. Very recommended! And the staff is very sympathic as well. Love it!
A great experience with friendly and easy going staff.
We rented bikes from here to use for a trip up the sea to sky highway, it was excellent riding and the pick up and drop off was really simple. The bikes weren't brand new but they were in good shape and the fact that they offer pannier cases for all the bikes at no extra charge was a really great convenience.
They only unfortunate part is the 300km per day restriction which does limit the amount of riding we would have liked to do slightly. However I will say we went just slightly over and were not charged extra which was very much appreciated.
It is definitely a place I would return to and reccomend for a rental if wanting to ride in the Vancouver area!
Unfortunately, renting a motorcycle from them hasn't been what it should be. In short, they don't take their business serious enough. Rented a Africa Twin for 5 days. The bike looked fine at pickup, even though it showed 50TKM (I should have turned away right there). Everything checked out and was functional. On the second day driving noticed vertical bouncing on the front tire after driving an hour. Adjusted the rear suspension to compensate with no effect. Send a message to Cycle BC which they replied with 'try to adjust the rear suspension'. At that point it was clear that either the chain was warn out, the front tire's bearing was seizing or the suspension was warn out. The breaks were fine, no overheating. Having driven motorcycles for 25 years you can tell if the suspension is that bad that the front tire wants to bounce. Well, the bounce on the front tire got worse to a point that a novice rider would have probably just parked the bike on the side of the road. But hey, I didn't want them to have to pick up the bike somewhere on the island so I kept going. But here is were things got unacceptable. When I returned the bike (one day earlier) I walked into their shop and they barely wanted to talk to me. Bare in mind, we only communicate once about the bike's issue and they didn't even reply when I told them that adjusting the rear suspension didn't change anything. I had to convince them to take a test drive and they came back saying that there is nothing wrong with the bike. I told them that this is a serious issue and it only really shows after the bike gets warm (sounds like a bearing or chain, right?). I also told them this bike should not be driven and most certainly not go out on a rental. They offered me a lukearm 'we can refund you one day rental'. Keep in mind I returned the bike one day early. I told them that this is not about the money, but this bike should not be on the road like this. As a last resort they said: 'we heard from a friend who rides a Africa Twin that he had a similar problem and never could fix it'. That statement together with the fact that they even have a bike with more then 50TKM in their rental fleet raises so many questions. Anyways, they promised they will have the bike thoroughly tested (with luggage for weight) and get back to me. Since they have not reached out to me I have to assume they gave the bike a good wash and put back into the rental fleet.
Had just the right ebike for me at a reasonable price, a few minute ride to the trail and then all the way to the end of Spanish Banks. Ebike shifting and brakes worked great, step thru frame makes it easy to get on and off.
My whole experience with CycleBC in Vancouver was amazing. Great staff! The service is exceptional. The staff really cares and made our trips the success they were. Highly recommend renting from Cycle BC ️️
Rented a bicycle recently & was met with awesome customer service during my visit and afterwards through email when I had some questions regarding the products they use!:)
This place is amazing. I wanted to rent a motorcycle and my instructor recommended this place. Mike is really helpful. The process is pretty straightforward and they have a great selection of motorcycles. Paperwork is minimal and my experience has been seamless. I am planning to use their service more in future and do recommend to anyone who wants to rent a two wheeler-be it cycle, bike, scooter or motorcycle. Please check their website. It's pretty accurate.
If you want a safe, reasonably priced, and an afternoon of fun, go hit up Cycle BC! See if you can get Monarch to help you with your first time riding lessons. He's amazing, helpful and super friendly! Thanks Monarch and Cycle BC!
Great service - fair prices and friendly approach. I rented from cycle BC for several years prior to buying my own bike.great opportunity to try different bikes. Good work Guys! Chris
Cyclebc claims that they rent out motorcycles to people with class 8L as long as you comply with the ICBC restrictions placed on your license. Well guess what, according to one of the owners you need to have atleast an N in order to rent from them. He claimed this was due to one of the regulations ICBC has placed which doesn’t allow people to rent with an L even for motorcycles licenses for which the supervisor restriction has been lifted. I have rented from them in the past with the same license and no staff member even remotely mentioned this fact. Tried to rent one today for the road test and Monarch just wasted my precious time and caused me to miss my appointment. Even though I wasn’t charged for the rental, it still is not acceptable to claim the policy doesn’t allow rental when there is no such regulation and the company website prides itself in being one of the only ones to rent for Road tests.
Awesome experience! We rented a few bicycles of this guys to spend a day riding in Vancouver. When we got to the place I realised Ive lost my camera on the way and one of the guys there (possibly the owner/man in charge) helped me to get my camera back ringing a few places until he got onto it. His help was priceless, very genuine. Besides the priceless help I received our experience was great, bikes were in great condition, they help us out to set a route for the day, very fairly priced comparing the other bike shops around, staff it's pleasant and just couldn't be happier to have chosen them! Totally recommend if spending some time cycling in Vancouver.
We had an awesome time exploring on the scooters. The staff was extremely through going over the in's and out's of how to operate them. If it doesn't rain tomorrow we are planning on going back to rent again! Thank you!
The staff at Cycle BC are total pros. I purchased a gift certificate for a friend to rent a motorcycle. My friend couldn't ride because of back problems so my cash was cheerfully refunded. There is an amazing selection of motorcycles, all current models in great condition. Clean and well organized shop. Cycle BC has my business in the future. Highly recommended!
