Enjoyed our tour, the tour guide was great. We got the e-bikes, no issues at all. Did the 4 hour tour which included stanley park and downtown, cool random facts and areas that I wouldnt have noticed otherwise.

We had a wonderful bike tour with Lana LaBelle. She was incredibly informative and entertaining throughout the 3 hour bike tour. We learned about history, food, architecture, local artists; the list was formidable! The ride itself was a great pace for a casual rider like me - and Lana was careful to ensure no one fell behind. It was a great way to kick off our trip to the city!

We had an eBike, private Grand Cycle Tour today with Nick L. We take a lot of tours, and I will say this was hands down one of the best tours I have ever taken. Nick was knowledgeable, relaxed, informed, kind, funny and just the kind of guy you want to teach you about this city. Also, IMHO, a 5-hour tour like this is the right kind of experience to invest in a private tour. We saw 500+-year old cedar and fir trees, beautiful Wood Ducks, Chinatown, Gastown, the Olympic Village, Stanley Park, a great lunch at Granville Island, Downtown, the Sea Wall and much much more. The city is easy to traverse with so many dedicated and protected bike lanes; Nick made us feel safe, and the eBikes made the ride easy. Nick even took the time to let my husband recreate a childhood memory in Vancouver on this private tour. And his communication after the tour is appreciated and unparalleled. If you are heading to Vancouver, and looking for a great way to learn about the city, I cannot recommend this more!

My partner and I did a bike tour with Mika this past week. It honestly was the highlight of my week; she was amazing and the tour was so informative and fun! I HIGHLY recommend this activity if you’re looking for something fun to do during the summer!

We rented ebikes and they were the best ride we've ever had on an electric assist bike and super easy to use! They do bike tours or you can rent bikes. We (family of 5) did the Vancouver Grand Bike Tour with Josh yesterday. What a great guy! He led us in 5 hours past many highlights of Vancouver and told us a lot of interesting things about Vancouver and its history. We already did a number of bike tours in different cities, but this was definitely the best so far! Thanks Josh and colleagues! We had a fantastic day!

My wife and I booked this 5 hour biking tour of Vancouver and had an excellent time. The trip was not terribly tiring and there were only a couple of substantial hills which we handled without difficulty. The tour provides a fairly extensive trip through the various parts of Vancouver mixing history with the present and cityscapes with the natural beauty of Stanley park.

Harley did a great job leading us safely and provided excellent background and history with the sites we saw. Could not recommend more highly!

Made a reservation 60+ days in advance and everything went well with the online reservation process. Arrived the morning of our rental and was invited to wait in line with everyone else (including those who had NOT made a reservation). After watching salespeople coordinate orders for nearly 1 HR, it was finally our turn. Because of our reservation we checked out / signed waivers and were getting geared up in less than 5 minutes. Staff was friendly but it was lost on them why someone who coordinated rentals BEFORE arriving would not want to wait an HR with walk-ins. Unfortunately we were not the only ones who experienced this. Everything else was good. I hope they can make changes and our pain is someone's gain.

This is the second time I rent e-bikes from City Cycle and the service was just as great the second time! They are very friendly, inform you of where you should bike and maintain the bikes amazingly. We had no issues and will be back next time we are in town!

What an amazing experience doing the Grand Tour around Vancouver! It was a 17-mile flat bike ride that provided an overview of the history of Vancouver and the lay of the land. My tour guide was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed my time very much. Highly recommend!

Friendly employees at the shop. Nice selection of topo handle bar bags, finally something that fits my tiny bike and with fun colours! They also price match with other shops & I got a new chain for my bike. They also carry finishline’s ceramic wax lube (4oz).

You will not regret it! Definitely the best option to get to know the city. Mark was out tour guide and he was wonderful with lots of fun facts and history about the city. This tour turned out to be a lot more interesting (and informative) than I had anticipated. Our guide (Paulo) clearly has a fine understanding of both the history of the city - and the evolution of competing interests (urban development vs.green space, housing availability vs affordability, supporting the underserved vs maintaining civic order - in this case in regard to homelessness, First Nations vs European Settlers, etc.). The tour ranged from outdoor wonders (like a rain forest and a beaver lake) to a First Nations village site to city skylines and Olympic complexes to a sea wall tour of the waterfront to a wonderful food market (my favorite). Every stop was unique to the others - and every stop was great. This tour was my favorite part of my visit to Vancouver.

First ever bicycle tour I have ever been on. It was worth every penny. Yes, you can just rent a bicycle and ride but nothing beats the eye and voice of a local (our tour guide). Highly recommended.

Dave and his team at Cycle City looked after us wonderfully! We had 13 girls that rented bikes for a bachelorette. Everything was able to be organized in advance, which mitigated paperwork etc on the day. When we arrived the bikes were ready for us! If your in Vancouver, I highly recommend doing this bike tour your first day to acquaint yourself with this spectacular city. My wife and I traveled here from North Carolina to see the wonders of beautifulVancouver.
Our tour lasted from 10 AM to about 4 PM. It takes you through all of the key areas including Stanley Park, Coal Harbour, Granville lsland, Olympic Village, China Town, Gas Town and back to their shop in the heart of downtown (near the Convention Center). German was our tour guide and he was truly fantastic. At every stop, he shared historical facts and information about the area. He was so nice, informative and enjoyable to learn from regarding his in-depth knowledge of Vancouver and what makes this city such a spectacular place for toruism, industry and business. We even had time built into the tour in Granville Island to view all of the shops and try any of the eateries for lunch.
This tour is well worth the time in learning all about the city that you just won't ever get randomly walking or biking by yourself. Lastly, German not only answered everyone's questions but followed up with an email providing key links to recommended restaurants and places to see that he discussed during the tour. What service! No need to write any of it down since it was all provided as a courtesy to his customers. Don't hesitate and just book a tour online!

We lucked out getting to join a tour last-minute with the amazingly knowledgeable tour guide, Nick! We had the best time! We saw so much of the city & Stanley Park, that we otherwise, wouldn't have known about it or how to get there. We covered a good amount of ground, about 9 km, over 3 hours, and stopped at some beautiful photo areas. We really enjoyed riding through the cool forest, as well, which is not something we really expected to be able to do when visiting downtown Vancouver. It was incredible. And none of this would have been possible without Nick. He was entertaining and considerate when looking after quite a few of us on this beautifully sunny day. We wish he could be our bike tour guide in every city we visit. He also had great tailored recommendations for each of us in the group. We would HIGHLY recommend taking a tour with Cycle Tours, and if you can get in with Nick, see that you do!

I emailed for some basic rental info and they were not very friendly. In fact their emails from "dave" came off as kind of threatening. If we hadn't already booked the bikes I wouldn't have, I'm sure many other people also chose to take their bikes elsewhere based on their experience.
Wouldn't really recommend, also now instead of being excited for our adventure I'm just anxious and stressed.
Not a great way of doing business.

Touring Vancouver with Paulo was the highlight of my trip north of the border! We pedaled the popular attractions as well as places I never would have expected (no spoilers from me). The bikes were comfortable and well-maintained and the trails were excellent!

Above all though, what really made the trip was the guide, Paulo. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and the spitting image of Ben Stiller:)

Products are great but the hour of operations don't seem to stay the same. I wish they would update the site so they can be more reliable.

Best idea! Vancouver is SUPER bike friendly - So many protected bike lanes you can go anywhere. I got the city step thru and my husband got the city cross - the city cross is a more comfortable ride in my opinion as several more scenic routes are rock paved. Shop was centrally located and easy to get everywhere from it.

Booked 13 Bikes as a healthy activity during my friends bachelor party. The process from booking to picking up the bikes was easy and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend renting these bikes and riding around Stanley Park!

Good bikes.make sure you ask about their rain day policy. Booked for a full day.was told in person that if it was too rainy that they would accommodate us.after half a day riding in the rain, we were soaked and chilled to the bone.brought the bikes back and still had to pay for the full day.

HIGHLY Recommend! I went for a pedal change and came back with a crash course on road bike best practices. Ben was awesome, he explained thoroughly how to get the best out of my bike without spend thousands of dollars, and even helped me fix the shoes' clips I got elsewhere. From now on, Cycle City only! Thank you guys.

Cycle city are the pros. We rented four ebikes and every bike and helmet was it top condition. They took time to recommend places to see and also a few places to avoid. We had a great time and at the end of the day, they were eager to hear how things went. Absolutely recommend based on my experience. Top reservation system, great communication via email and everything was setup and ready to upon our arrival.

Have rented from this company during both my visits to Vancouver. Including one with my family of 3. We rented the trailer for my toddler and the added bike for my 7 year old. They did an amazing job accommodating us with reliable ebikes. Would highly recommend if you're doing a bike tour of Vancouver. 10/10

Fantastic experience. Was looking for a road bike during my visit to Vancouver. Cecille and Jude took great care of me and set me up with a great bike at a moments notice. Cecille outlined a great route and was tremendously helpful. Would highly recommend them.

TAKE YOUR BIKE HERE FOR REPAIRS. After a terrible experience elsewhere, I was able to get some solid assistance with Ben and the team at Cycle City. He was so thorough, quick, and explained all sorts of things related to what was going wrong with my bike. I will only go here from now on and will refer others who have bikes (which is everyone).

The space is well thought out, clean, organized and they carry high quality products. Keep it up!

The experience is super bad. The employees were not nice and they wore very serious really don’t recommend this place to rent a bike

We had an awesome experience with Cycle City. The staff were very helpful especially with making my pregnant wife feel as comfortable as possible, and she was. After a quick rundown on how to use the bikes we were good to go. The map of the city they gave us with their routes were easy to follow and a lot of fun. Definite highlight of the trip!

Booked bikes online days before arriving, still had to wait in general line for over 30 mins before getting bikes. Would not come back.

Super convenient location with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Bikes are in very good condition and easy to ride, with basket and helmet included in the rental.

I was on a waitlist for a bike and was told I was first on the waitlist. I was contacted to say the bike came in and would I like to be contacted when it was built to which I said yes. I never recieved a call or email until today when I was told "sorry the bike was scooped up right away". Not happy with the service as I have been waiting on purchasing a bike for several months and have been on the waitlist at Cycle City since April 19th. I will give 2 stars only because some of the communication I had was pleasant and helpful.

Excellent bike mechanics. Totally nailed the conversion of my drivetrain to a 1x10 system. They were quick to order the parts and had the work done in a day.

I really enjoyed my experience with Cycle City Tours. They answered all my questions over the phone and made recommendations on suitable bikes for the trip I wanted to do. It was simple to rent the bike I wanted ahead of time on their website and pickup was a breeze. They also made sure to make any necessary adjustments on my bike so that I would be comfortable before I headed out.

I can't speak highly enough of this place. My girlfriend has bought a bike here and I have brought mine in for service twice. The mechanics and front end here go above and beyond for customer satisfaction and are supremely helpful. I would 100% recommend coming here for any of your biking needs

Got back to bike after 15 years. Bought a bike in market place and this shop helped me tuned up and fix some stuff in the bike. I have zero knowledge about the bike’s parts and they helped me understand the mechanics of my bike. I paid less than what I have expected and they didn't upsell anything that i don't need. Great and fast service. Will definitely going to come back here next time. Highly recommended.

Really great experience renting several bikes for a large group. Good pricing and friendly staff. All bikes were in great condition and nobody had any issues.

Rented a hybrid bike for an hour to tour Stanley park. The rear brake rotor was warped and very noisy and under strong pedal pressure the chain slipped several gears down on the rear cassette repetitively. Staff were apologetic, but the bike was in pretty rough shape and should have been checked more carefully before being rented.

Did the 3h Stanley Park tour. The guide was really nice and knew his stuff and created a really nice group mood. Personnaly, I regret that it was 3h including the riding to and from the park.let's say it was a 2h30 tour. I would have liked to stop more on the way, just saying

David was our guide - very competent and knowledgeable- but also sensitive to local culture, which was great to see. We were in very good hands!

This company is awesome. We recently had a large group that I secured bikes for a few weeks in advance, as well as one of their trucks to pick us up a few kilometres away from their store when we wanted to end our ride at the Stanley Park pool. Unfortunately weather didn’t hold up that day, but they honoured our prepaid ride another day and refunded the cost of the bike pickup as the weather was out of our control. I felt this was fair and was also much appreciated as we really wanted to try biking again the next day. Bikes were almost sold out the following day, but they managed to pull some together for us to be able to go. They really went above and beyond. Thank you to Nick and the entire team.

**Side note, the adult bike with a trail a bike behind it is incredibly hard to use. I bike all the time and have never experienced something so wobbly, even though I had an experienced 7 year old rider on the back. It was really precarious and dangerous for us on the seawall with all of the other people, so be aware if you rent that item. No one else in our group could even ride it.

Rented two road bikes for a day to explore Stanley Park. Ended up biking about 30 miles total. Went to Granville Market too. Helped by Luisa from Frankfurt. This place is super nice and super easy to deal with. Luisa was very helpful, even took time to show us how to read their bike lane map and showed us places to visit. Would definitely rent from this place again. They were about to sell the road bikes, but let us rent them anyway.

Visited here after 5. Fancy shop but the staff was unfriendly. Short answer. No specific explanation.

Very friendly staff and the equipment was great. The bike trails were awesome and not too hilly. Great experience taking in the sites by bike. The send you out with a bike lock so you can stop and enjoy the many great sites and grab a bite on your way.

Did the grand tour with small group led by Nancy. She was absolutely amazing with lots of insights into Vancouver history and development. Great way to get lay of land early in stay!

The seawall walk at Stanley Park is one of the main paths and as it's about 9 km long, the best way to enjoy it would be biking, in our opinion. We highly recommend it if you're not a good runner.
There are a lot of different models such as e-bikes, if it suits you.
They provide helmet, lock, basket or handlebar bag. Insurance is also included and you can even count on a rain cover.:) Bikes are available in range of models & sizes to fit your needs including youth & children's equipment.

I got my bike fixed here and got great service. I'd been having shifting problems for a while and thought it needed an adjustment but turned out there were a couple significant issues which the really nice staff explained to me and then proceeded to fix. Was also able to get good advice on appropriate chain lubricant to purchase, bought it and off I went on my perfectly running bike!

I needed service on my bike for a wheel issue and decided to give this place a try. The staff was kind and knowledgeable and they were able to turn around the job within a few hours. The service prices are competitive and the space is really beautiful - big, clean and well laid out. I would definitely recommend for service and repairs.

Bikes were very good and at a good price. The staff was friendly and helpful. Bike pick up and drop-off all went smoothly.

Good bikes, really helpful and friendly staff. Stopped by on a 16hr layover in Vancouver and the staff here made everything really simple and easy, gave me a map highlighting great areas to check out, as well as good restaurants and bars to stop at for a meal and a beer!

They need to do a better job of educating people on how to use the bike lanes. Outside of the store they will have several people on bikes blocking the sidewalks. Pedestrians are then forced to walk around in the bike lane.
