I contacted Cypress Railings and Gates and spoke with Ramtin about getting a glass gate and a composite fence. Ramtim right away set up an appointment to meet at my house. From there I then met him at the shop and viewed the materials.

I ordered a custom aluminum driveway gate for my cottage and planned to install it myself. Bobby, the owner, was excellent at communicating with me and all his employees were friendly, helpful, and patient. The draftsman did a CAD drawing of the gate plan in 10 minutes while I watched. The gate was finished on time, despite minor problems with the company who did the powder coating. When I went to pick up the gate, I was shown how to install all the parts. And the price was way below the estimates I received from Cypress Railings' competitors.
However, although Bobby's service was outstanding, the quality of the fabrication was mediocre. I was shorted 8 special screws for the latch, the two rods that go down into the driveway surface were of different sizes, and the gate's width could not be adjusted because the last vertical aluminum strut was too close to the hinge bolt (despite the proper strut spacing being shown on the CAD drawing).
After installation, I had to take everything apart, hacksaw 3/4" off the four hinge bolts, and then re-hang the two gates. Bobby's response was: "There's a special tool that will just snap off the bolt ends". Well, customers shouldn't have to buy a special tool to make a gate fit in the opening between the posts. The problem was simply sloppy fabrication work.
I would recommend Cypress Railing only if you have them install the product, and if Bobby provides you with a written guarantee regarding workmanship and parts.

After my initial quote I had delays on my railing due to setbacks related to permits on my deck. Cypress was very patient throughout it all. Once things got sorted everything was seamless from the timing of the job through to the installation. Milad and his team were great. Bobby the owner honoured the original quote even though the job required more work than was estimated. Customer service is the cornerstone of every good business. In these situations leaving as a happy customer is not often the case. I am a happy customer and would not hesitate recommending Cypress Railing and I will definitely not hesitate using them again.

This company worked out well. Bobby sent me some good quotes for some bathroom shower glass. They billed me according to the estimates. They delivered exactly on time and were very reasonable with delivery times. The delivery personnel showed up when scheduled and were very professional and polite. They even cleaned up after they finished their work. This is definitely a company I would recommend. They were good with order taking, estimates, delivery time and execution. Good work guys. I will use them again for future works.
