Loved the quality of the ice cream, and the house made cone went in a not so busy time, so there was no lineup.

The ice cream was okay, it wasn't bad, but nothing special. Definitely not worth the detour we took just to visit the shop. The service was very poor, the women who served the ice cream were extremely grumpy and rude, it seemed like they wanted to be literally any place else than their ice cream shop, and they felt the need to make that clear to all the customers. In that sense, I guess it made it more of an authentic Dutch experience ;), It was possible to visit the cows, but I wish i didn't. There were way too many cows standing inside a barn that was way too small. The calves were seprated and locked up in cages so small they could barely turn around.

Mediocre ice cream at best. Full of ice crystals and tasted like it had melted and been refrozen. They should be ashamed of their public washrooms. Ladies room had one out of order and the wheelchair accessible had NO LOCK whatsoever! For what they charge in their tourist trap of a store this is just horrible. Went to many other tourist spots in the area and all were much better service, goods and better appointed washrooms.

Good stop for travellers wanting to stretch legs and get a local treat, some outdoor seating available (no lakeview). You can pet the cows and see a few other animals. Never had amazing service, but also never rude. Went once and a cow was covered in his pen mates wet feces all over his head and back, when I told an employee they laughed and did not call someone as I expected to clean the animal, maybe this is typical farm life? Been to D Dutchmen multiple times over the last 30 years and have always enjoyed getting icecream. This time decided to "stock up" on 2L flavors. 3 of 5 family members don't like any of them because they taste "too much like butter" as per one of my kids. I agree. I would say equivalent flavor of taking a sip of heavy cream which way overpowers the suggested flavor of ice cream. Not happy as we bought 6! Would not recommend for this reason raspberry, peaches & cream, mango, orange popsicle, orange creamsicle or wild cherry. In previous years we have had (and loved - but of course none of these in stock) lemon pie, chocolate, and bubble gum so I am not sure if they changed the way they make it? Or if ALL of those flavors are just not for us. Next time through we will only get a flavor we know, and if it isn't same great taste as prior years, unfortunately will choose a new shuswap treat.

This was such a great place to stop and have our breakfast ice cream while we are on "holidays"! The lemon pie ice cream was sooo delicious! Mmm. The flavours were perfect.
We purchased some cheeses as well, but there were lots of other items to choose from. The chickens and peacock were fun to see as well.

Visited the D'Dutchmen Dairy with my family of four and had a blast! The ice cream flavors were off the charts, and there was something for everyone. The young staff were super friendly and helpful. Plus, our kids were thrilled to see all the cute farm animals on-site. Definitely a great spot for families. Highly recommend checking out D'Dutchmen Dairy if you're a family coming through the area!

Ice cream is good, but ridiculously tourist trappy expensive. It should not cost 7 dollars for a bit of ice cream.

Loved it. Got cream for my morning coffee and a scoop of ice cream. They didn’t have a shirt in my size.

I was a little disappointed by the customer service. They rolled there eyes and looked like they didn’t want to be there. But overall the ice cream was good.

One of the best ice cream. Great place to play for kids too. There is a farmers market across as well to complete ice cream experience and shop for local fruits. Kids just loved farm animals and birds. Tractor collection is amazing and kids play with them with a great pleasure. Great idea!

All the younger staff are super nice. All except one lady that's older then the rest, maybe in her 30's, that works the ice cream shop, she's SUPER rude, another family we know said the same. She doesn't like certain types of people just because if you know what I mean, if you fall into that category, your large soft serve will be even smaller than a small soft serve she would give to people she "prefers". Ice creams ok, nothing crazy, dairy Queen is waay better

A landmark of the Shuswap. We have been visiting Dutchmen for 20+ years and still love it. Great ice cream, fresh dairy, animals to see, calves to pet, a tractor to play on.the best!

Always amazing. Love the authentic dairy farm, and that the kids and grown kids can go see the animals. Love the Dutch products available and the fresh dairy products too. Love love love the ice cream. So much better than the generic creamery, you simply have to stop at least once!

Staff nice, store clean-but we made a special trip for the icecream - bought 4 flavors. One kid ate it- he eats everything. The other 3 of us pitched it - couldn't get past the sandpaper like grit in the icrcream.
Its like you put hot chocolate mix in cold milk and only stirred a couple times.

Lousy ice-cream
I thought this place, which I had heard about for years, would have good ice cream. I was wrong. It was on par with the lowest quality supermarket types-watery and not much flavour.
Give it a miss.

Their customer service was so poor, as they know their products is sold anyway, so they do not care about their behaviour towards their customers. Too bad

Stopped here driving through pretty cool place. Ice cream and items were not over priced which was nice to see. For a ice cream shop the owners went all out to allow guest to see some cool things and animals while grabbing a ice cream. It was busy but they move fast. Worth the stop if you are in that town or driving through, kids will like it.

The service was good and efficient but the ice cream was not our favourite. We also grabbed a pack of cheese curds and it was ok, again not our favourite. We are driving to Vancouver Island and back and getting ice cream everywhere we can, we will pass on this place next time. There are barns to walk around and look at the different beautiful birds that the kids will love to do.

60 flavors of ice cream, tons of cheese and the freshest milk. The best BC independent dairy in the province. Live cows and cakes to entertain the kids including a pint sized tractor farm.

Cute and unassuming spot with a nice patio and good menu. Good selection of brews and the menu had some interesting items. Our food came out cooked well and was quite delicious.

I have not been here for years. Still great icecream, milk and cheese. Lots of choices. You have to watch though. It was super busy when we were there and they only had about 20 flavours on the board, but once I ordered, I noticed that all but one of the freezers were full. So probably more like 40 flavours available? More than 20 for sure, but I diddnt count them all. In hindsight, we should have gone and looked at the cows first and waited for the line to die down first. But the ladies serving were still super friendly.

The Best local to stop by for ice cream lots of selection to choose from we always go here everytime we go on family road trip. Great selection of cheeses & milk is locally made.

You simply cannot drive through Sicamous without stopping here. We love all of their local dairy products as well. Easy detour right off Hwy 1 lots of parking.

Delicious ice cream over 60 flavors that change quite often (possibly daily not sure) there's a nice selection of farm animals and the baby calves are sooo cute and friendly.

Great selection of delicious ice cream with friendly helpful staff.they also have a great selection of milk, cheeses and creams along with a few other items. We stop for the ice cream each time we pass through here. Highly recommended.

I tried several flavours and was overall not impressed. French vanilla was the best out of them. Waffle cones tasted stale. Staff was pushy although the store was almost empty. Would not go back.

This is a must stop on any trip that takes me past! Amazing dairy products from their own dairy cows, friendly staff, and a nice little walk among a variety of neat birds and animals!

Easy access off trans canada highway. Great service, selection of dairy products, good variety of ice cream flavors regular or waffle cones. Lots of souvenirs to choose from. Don't forget to tour the barns and the animals on the property.

Excellent spot to have your favorite ice cream, often crowded though. Best taste in BC.surely will visit again!
