Great service and can’t go wrong with a blizzard. Got ours super fast and the gentleman behind the counter had a very positive attitude

Of course I was handed a pay terminal with tip options FOR FAST FOOD. STOP. PAY YOUR STAFF AND GIVE THIS NONSENSE UP. I will actively not tip when this happens. Then I got a look of attitude from the counter girl and stood there 10 minutes while several customers food sat in the pass through getting cold. Give that attitude to your employer, I didn't make your work there and I didn't decide what you get paid. Then I stared at someone who looked like an owner or manager standing around with his hands in his pockets. I don't know how these businesses expect to be successful without even the basics of customer service. Entitlement and laziness all around. Pathetic.

Got the $8 dollar meal special. It satisfied my fast food craving and it came with a sundae which I ate partially. Too much food!

Came by to grab a quick bite then enjoyed the scenery. They did forget our ice creams, however they kindly and quickly replaced them.

Just bought take out lunch for my wife and I, burger as delicious, service was very fast and a friendly smile.

Open till 10 pm, however all doors locked at 9 pm. As a pedestrian you need to line up between idling cars. It took the four (4) employees almost 10 minutes to serve the two burgers, the two folks ahead of us had ordered. Despite a long line up, nobody approached any clients, asking for their orders.

Four employees on a slow Friday evening, however, waiting tines like during rush hour - if there even if such thing in Hope.

Good was fresh and presentable. Staff was very pleasant. Only issue? They forgot my onion rings

Poor service followed up by rude management when brought to attention.
Unfortunately its happened a few times in the past 5 years in Hope BC to me.
It's the rude management that takes the "cake"

Missing items from our order.salad had rotten lettuce and hair in it. I have been calling non stop and they don't answer and just hang up. Horrible way to keep customers

The lady at the drive thru window was really rude to us.we asked for a dipped cone and when she gave us the cone that was not dipped and we asked her to dip the cone she walked away and then asked again and she very rudely said “i repeated your order to you”. Not going back there

Delivery is excellent! I had a problem and it was fixed right away, thank you agian to the amazing employees at dq.

This location is filthy dirty. There’s literally a film of filth on the floors, multiple tables not clean, fries and food all over the floor. The bathrooms are dirty & not one stall has toilet paper in it. The staff is nice & the food was made fresh so 2 stars for that.

We ate outside. At 7: 55 pm, I tried to go inside to use the restroom, but the door was already locked.
I phoned the Store and asked what time they close. She said 8: 00. I asked if she looked at her clock. No reply. I said I can see people inside sitting at tables. If we decided to eat inside, it would be no problem to use the washroom. But because we sat outside, we can’t. This makes no sense. She said she would talk to her manager. Really!? !? Letting a paying customer requires management approval? !? !
After a brief wait on hold, she told me the manager was cleaning so she couldn’t talk to her.
We did two visits here: our first in a while, and our last for a while.

It took them forever to prepare our order (tow kids mill and one regular) but there was one staff member that made it ok. She was so nice, smiley and lovely. Unfortunately don't know her name

Passing through Hope and wanted a quick bite! We hadn't been to Dairy Queen in ages, so ordered their Cheeseburger meal deal for $8. It was reasonably priced as far as fast food goes, with the burger and fries satisfying hunger. The taste was OK, pretty plain and nothing memorable. The lemonade was refreshing, but the best part was the strawberry sundae to cap off the meal. Would recommend sticking to their sweet treats as a craving (especially on a hot summer's day), and only the savoury food if there aren't other nearby options.

Worst customer service ever guy at the dive through window barely looked at to busy talking to his coworkers paid with debit he barely stuck the machine out the window for me to pay all the time looking and talking to coworkers not impressed I’ll spend my hard earned money elsewhere

My blizzard looked like it had a healthy amount of skor pieces on top but when i got to the middle it was barely mixed at all and only vanilla ice cream on bottom. Buddy of mine lives in town and says this is the worst DQ around, i should have listened to him. Store has jacked its prices which is understandable but the lack of quality is unforgivable i will not come back to this location. There was no line up when i visited so not a case of overworked staff, just lazy staff.

So I went to the DQ in hope to hopefully earn points and my app. Didn't have a scanner. And had to repeat myself many times.
Food was good though. Other Staff was friendly.

They hate their jobs so bad, they treat you with disgust.service so bad i just got my money back.

They were unable yo keep up with 4 ppl waiting for food. Waited forever to order (I was next) I gave up and left.

I asked for a skor ice cream cake with purple lettering and I forget her name (I remember it started with an S) made the cake for my husbands birthday last week and it was delicious! Everyone enjoyed it and was a big hit, will definitely get it again! Thank you so much for the great service!

I was happy with this experience. My burger was good and my onion rings were really hot and good. Meal was ready fast and the staff was friendly.

Ordered a cake over a week ago for my kids birthday. Have them the order confirmation and they didn’t have it ready. Took the last cake out of the freezer and have it to me and it was all the wrong colours. Not impressed. Probably won’t be going back!

The customer service from the one guys was rude to ladys. I was behind them when he was being rude and difficult

Continually advertised items that were consistently sold out. Is it really the flavour of the month if it is never available? Blizzards were runny. Best to avoid this false advertising location.

Love coming here. Having a outhouse makes much easier to stay and play. There is the park and a spray part the kids always have fun.

Pleasant staff, delicious product, clean restaurant. Only complaint is my Blizzard didn't have flavour in the bottom 1/4, it was only a small, so I was surprised.

The lady could not figure out that I just wanted a small cup of whip cream for my puppy…… could not comprehend

The parking lot was empty. 4 customers inside. 1 server in the kitchen. Now I know why the parking lot was empty.

Was just ok, was very clear about my order, but they still got it wrong, didnt notice until i was long gone, but it gets 3 stars for being the only place open that serves ice cream in hope on a holiday.

A fabulous quick meal for $7. A cheeseburger deluxe, fries, a soda and a sundae. You can eat outside at the tables and look across the road at the Fraser River and a few of the log carvings in the park. Very nice setting. Great service and meal for the price. Oh and because we had to wait for one of our fries they switched it from a regular size to the larger fry order. Kudos to them for that small gesture.

Best dipped cone I have had since the early 2000's! The chocolate crust was truly thick and crunchy. I will definitely go back. Extremely nice people and helpful, too.

Tasted great but could use bigger portions. Chicken is amazing, fries are amazing and the burgers are alright. The sundaes are good and so are their blizzards. Worthwhile

Absolutely brutal. My husband and 4 year old son stopped in just now to order some ice cream while I changed our baby’s diaper. It took 30 minutes to get a soft serve cone and a blizzard. The girl took their order and then didn’t do anything? I guess? Believe me, if I was in there myself I wouldn’t have allowed it to take so long- my husband is more patient than me. Absolutely intolerable service it’s Dairy Queen and you can’t even manage to make 2 ice creams! You had one job. Figure it out.

I have been here a few times and I have had no problems at all with any of the staff in fact I prefer to eat here when in Hope

Twice they short changed me, first time I let it slide, second time I have them $50 for 7 dollar meal, my change back, $25, unfortunately I threw my reciet out, guess they think they can take advantage of seniors, plus I had to wait for quite awhile until they aknowledge me. They should be ashamed of themselves. I will never go there again, the staff there suck bigtime

After traveling the Coquihella the Hope DQ is a forevermore pitstop. Travelers can take the 2nd exit.

Standing in line here is scary. I physical distance. Occupancy is way too high. No enforcement of mask wearing. The zig zag line is horrible for distancing. We’re wearing masks and no one else is and we can’t move far enough away from people. Time to leave.

Very discussing place. Bathrooms were gunky and gross and the service was not great. My shoe litarly stuck to the floor. Disappointed due to Covid 19 going on especially.

Not bad. Ice cream was good. Impossible to keep 2m apart in the lineup to order food though. Also the place could have been a little cleaner.

Not overall a pleasant experience. From getting accosted in our car pulling up my a meth addict asking us to roll down our window. She went to several vehicles for change. When inside the female cashier had only her mouth covered and not her nose with her mask. The guy in the kitchen did not wear a mask and noticed him touching his face and wiping his nose. He did put on a mask when he came out to clean. Drink machine is still self serve. No hand sanitizer at entrances available. Wife’s order of chicken strips were good. My mushroom swiss burger however was falling apart and had about 1/4 cup of mayonnaise in it. Gross and messy to eat. I order this item often and it usually does not come like this. Maybe retrain staff on hygiene during a pandemic and how to make food properly to spec. Don’t want anything other than you guys to improve. This was an overall poor experience. Maybe set up cameras in the parking lot? It’s obvious this was an issue before as there were signs in the parking lot re panhandling.

Burgers were extremely dry.

The cashier wouldn't let us upsize our onion rings even though we have done it before at other dairy queens and have never had an issue. I know we have to pay more, let me upsize. She said they dont do that there. Weird. Her mask wasn't being worn correctly either.

Has changed ownership / management a few times over the years and didn't get their flow back but now they seem to running quite well again.

Do not recommend! This place is filthy. My shoes stuck to the floors because it was so sticky. And the garbages were overflowing.

The service is good, they are fairly quick with filling orders, however, every time I order a Peanut Buster Parfait the seem to make it wrong by missing the fudge and peanuts in the middle. Not just a one time thing but it is every time they make it.

We Went there today for ice cream. The girl at the window was touching her mask. What’s the point of wearing a mask if you are going to touch it. And she didn’t have it on correctly. I feel like they are being paid to follow the Work Safe BC rules so don’t ruin it for customers who want a treat. They have the signs up to respect 2 meters but is it all for show? The ice cream was fine but scared to eat out these days.

Went through the drive through during the May long weekend and no issues at all. Wait wasn’t very long and there is enough room to get in if you have a truck and trailer.

Ordered three $7 chicken strip meals and they were delicious. Staff were friendly and will be coming back again in the future

The order taker was friendly and got my order right! Now adays that's hard to find! The chicken strips and fries were fresh and hot. The mini blizzard was just enough any more would be too much. It wasn't mixed all the way through, but it still tasted great. A great deal for 8!

We stopped at this location on a warm summer evening, got everything we ordered (with lots of extra napkins & ketchup), hot and fresh! Walked across the street and enjoyed our meal at a picnic table while watching the beautiful river.

Not a stellar DQ- big honking chunks of onions in my burger. Otherwise fairly well within what one expects of the brand.

Grouchiest manager ever. Watching her interactions with staff I couldn't handle it. Quality low for food and deserts

It was the usual fast food, BUT.the place is spotless inside. A few years ago, it was a rats nest, new owners I think. Good job people, keep it up.

This was my first experience of visiting Dairy Queen as a tourist in BC from the UK. I was extremely disappointed by the lady who served us at the till. Her attitude was extremely poor and when asked a question was constantly rolling her eyes, tutting and acting impatient. This was definitely not the kind of friendly service I expect in Canada. Not to mention the blizzard was watery. Will never visit this DQ again.

In response to the owners response, I am NO LONGER a FAN of Dairy Queen after the poor service I received. The response does not give me any indication that steps have been taken to speak to the server about their behaviour, improve the service or the quality of the product. This response was incredibly disappointing and dismissive.

Extremely busy DQ place during the summer. Food is ok. We ordered the burger combo with fries, drink, and dessert. Price is cheap compared to the regular combos but burgers are so-so. Tables were dirty due to high traffic ; please have your staff clear and wipe the tables more often. Thank you.

I had to rate one star because there is no option for zero. Bad attitude at the drive through, didn't have any ice cream or slushies (or just didn't feel like making them?).
Way to run a business into the ground. Even the building looks like a back alley of a seedy 40 year old bar.

I noticed the people in front of us get under served when they ordered a blizzard. Then we did too, filled up only 3/4 of the cup. Seems like that's the way they do this here. Annoying

Right beside the Tesla Supercharger. Convenient spot to get a quick bite or a cone while waiting for our car to charge. Friendly staff, good service.

This place doesn't deserve 1 star. Filthy place. No matter how busy the workers are there should be at least one of them to look after the cleanliness. Floors, tables, counters were so filthy. The garbage bin on the floor behind the counter was too full but they just ignored it. You could actually see it. And please please train your workers to at least smile a litlle. I read quite a few comments about how filthy this place is. Please pay attention (owner/manager/supervisor! Listen to your customers. I hope health inspector will get you.

They couldnt hand out a tag for our sundaes ordered with our meal, by the time our food was eaten our sundaes were melted. Asked if wanted 'tasty dip', yes we did want one! It wasnt included. 25 cent charge (not much but the point is!) Food was cool from such a long wait.but on the positive side. Our cashier "Samina" (name on receipt) was very nice and pleasant. Our visitors from ontario were not thrilled, theyve been eating out the while way for weeks.big zero Hope BC DQ!

Burger tasteless with a stale hard bun, fries under cooked, misty slush was basically just flavoured water as they turned the machine on when we ordered it and ran for less than 5 minutes this was my 3rd consecutive bad experience so I have to say this is the worst DQ and they just lost a local customer

If this is the Hope location.we didn't actually eat here. We tried to, but they weren't open, despite their sign saying they should be. They finally opened the doors just as we were leaving. The employees were disinterested in whether we stayed or went. We used the washroom and left. Unfortunately, the restaurant we went to ("Rolly's", I think) was horrible too. Bad town for food! Lol
