Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Has anyone ever actually had a good experience at this location, I've literally never seen anyone from the staff smile. They consistantly treat customers like garbage, how dare we have the audacity to show up and inconvenience them by trying to buy ice cream on a hot sunny day!

This most recent time around I'm here to pick up a customer cake I ordered 2 days prior, with a pick up time of 2: 30, and at 2: 50 they havent even started making it yet. I literally had to ask them to go make the cake. I guess it's a method to get me to spend more money on the icecream I ate while I waited 20 minutes for them to actually do the cake and they didnt even do it correctly, the picture was cut off completely differently from the order, the custom colored message that was supposed to be hand written in icing was lame block letters printed on the print out to save time.

This is the most lazy and unimpressive "custom cake" I've ever ordered for someone. Customer service is truly dead at this establishment: (

This DQ has inflated there prices as the years have gone by I went in the other day and to my amazement they raised them again now for a large blizzard they are ridiculously charging almost $12 when if you go to lougheed mall DQ or literally another one there $9.
I will never buy nor recomend anyone buy here as they are a rip off. Wake up and be reasonable it's ice-cream not gold smarten up charge proper and maybe you would have a better than 3 star review. I hope this company comes back down to earth before they go out of business.

Go to another DQ for your treats or go to Safeway and buy a whole tub for less than a small blizzard at this DQ.

(Update: it's 6 years now that the lock on the men's washroom door has been broken. Can you imagine how little care must be put into the kitchen quality as well?)

This place is hilariously bad. It gets two stars because at least the ice cream tastes like like Dairy Queen.

But it's the slowest service you've ever seen.

And the lock on the men's bathroom door? Broken. Since 2017. It's now early 2019. This is not a joke. It's just indicative of how little this owner cares about his restaurant.

Oh, and this location has none of the healthy DQ options like side salads. Not sure why.

Terrible customer service. Nobody at the front till. We called out for service and we could see someone there but they don’t bother to acknowledge. There was gentlemen behind till that was pacing about who saw us but also didn’t acknowledge that we needed to be helped. When the lady finally came she was not pleasant to deal with. Not rude, but it was like a chore to deal with customers. I will not be coming to this location again. To top it off the soft serve consistency was grainy.

The two young ladies who worked last night were very nice. Our order was made fairly quickly and they were delicious. I had a peanut buster parfait and Husband had a double bacon burger.

This Dairy Queen location needs a visit from a quality control inspector from head office. If they're allowed to continue operating the way they are, it's going to ruin the brand. I ordered 2 large blizzards. After paying almost $20, I found the ice cream was runny and soft. I've had Dairy Queen many times from other locations so I know what a blizzard should taste and look like. The staff didn't even turn it upside down after making it. Now I know why. It was like a milkshake. Not what I'd expect after paying so much. Then I walked one to one of the tables and put the blizzards down. The table top was loose and broken. It almost toppled over. Only thing I put on it was the two blizzards. That was a safety hazard that could have seriously injured someone. A law suit waiting to happen.

This place gives DQ a bad name.unfortunately most of the reviews are spot on accurate and the low ratings are deserved.
Terrible bathrooms, 'who cares' service with no hellos or thank you and gossip before cleaning seem to be the norm.
Runny soft serve, even in December.
Reviews seem to get answered by management but I can only assume not taken seriously judging by my visit.

Keep driving to another DQ.

Best dairy queen location that I go to! The staff is always so welcoming and attentive and the food is always so fresh. And they are open late which helps with the late night ice cream cravings! Highly recommend to try this location.
