Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Stopped here on our way from Sun Peaks to Penticton. For a fast food joint.was pleasantly surprised. Server was very polite and efficient- knew what she was doing; all the staff, really, seemed to be working hard and like a team. Food came out hot and fresh, and tasted really good! Had the original cheeseburger meal with pineapple sundae and it was the best meal I've ever had from a DQ! Soft serve in the sundae was on point, and so was the cheeseburger! My partner had the bbq chicken tenders with fries and also really loved it! Also liked the cute little sunroom seating area too! Great job! Keep up the good work!

I bought 2 strawberry cheesecake blizzards cost over $15. And they were melted down half an inch below the lid. They looked awful, I complained and the youngman said. That's how we make them.
I took a picture to post as proof, I come here quit often so I know the difference, disappointed

First came here back in 2015 and had a great bbq burger special and blizzard to celebrate the release of Jurassic World. The service was excellent then and still is to this day. Great job everyone!

Dropped the Ball, usually this DQ is quick and efficient but the blonde worker was just standing there chit chatting with another young girl.and we waited 15-20 minutes just for 2 cones of ice cream! And we didn’t even get it. Most of the time they’d stop, talk.then look at me and continue talking, I was shocked.the total disregard for they’re jobs, and after standing around and talking I just left.

I stop here every time I pass through. Usually a great atmosphere filled with laughs and smiling staff. This time the staff hung their heads like a pup in trouble. The manager kept yelling at all of them the whole time I was there.

Given how busy of a location this is, the staff are surprisingly efficient. Also; Anything I've ever eaten there met expectations and was well done.

It's kept fairly clean and respectable both inside and outside. All in all a good location. The only downside is it gets busy, cramped, and the kids play area gets super over full and loud. Especially in summer but that's to be expected from such a busy and popular spot

Food, beverages, etc - seem good.

Drive thru seems efficient.

I've brought my children and now my grandchildren to the DQ play palace.never have I seen the area this dirty! This cannot be one days worth.these poles were like this when we arrived at 2pm.

It was good for fast food I guess. Haven't had much fast food in years. If that's your thing and go to then I'm sure this would have been 5 star. The poutine was pretty good. The mister misty slush was wayyyyy too sugary. Crispy chicken sandwich was good.

Despite a nasty milkshake accident, I've nothing negative to say about this location. Always been friendly and fairly prompt.

Messed up on the order waited forever for it and before I could even look in the bag they ran off. Very disappointed

Very friendly and good service. However gone is the tasty flame broiled taste for the burger. I think they microwave or grill but the burger is not good. Done with DQ burgers. Wil come here only for their great ice cream.

We stopped in last night for are date night ice cream. Restaurant was very clean, food delicious. However, the manager was yelling at the teenager staff and wasn't a pleasant atmosphere for are date.

I wasn't impressed. I had a deal on my app. I showed the cashier and was told to get out of it. I said you need this number first though or not? I was told again to get out and the cashier knew the number. So I did. And then was charged full price. And never got points. It's not a huge deal. But I went there because I had the app. I had another choice which I would have gone to if I would have known this.

3 stars because the food tasted good and the service was fast.

This took place at 8th st kamloops.placed our order.then I said to clerk.we've never been here before, where do we go to get our food.she got angry and said i have.worked here since March and its always been that way! I more loudly said incase she didn't hear me I just was asking how we get our food when ready.she gave us a receipt and said go to a table.as we walked a way she went ÒH MY God and laughed. I tried to explain to her andshe said oh that's ok.no I was not apologizing to her. I did nothing wrong.posted to wrong store.can't fix.sorry Merritt.they are the best store

I had an incredible experience with staff being kind and respectful. There were a few tables needing a clean but the staff were taking care of the drive thru on a VERY hot afternoon. Staffing is a struggle everywhere right now and I'm confident chalking it up to lack of staff.

Every time I come here I get forgotten about I sat in their drive thru park lane right outside the window and they gave our cooked food to someone else TWICE. Really slow terrible customer service go anywhere else

Meal Deal Chicken was overdone and pieces were very small plus they charged $1 more than other DQ's

Great service and they always get the order right. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the premises is clean and well taken care of. The only thing I could say is I wish they had more outside areas to eat in the summer with maybe some umbrellas for shade.

Went through the drive thru today at 11: 10am and ordered 4 cheeseburgers and 4 moo lattes. The burger buns were dry and the cappuccino moolattes tastes more like a plain milkshake no coffee flavour at all. Someone needs to be trained own how to make proper ones.

Can’t go wrong with a Strawberry Cheese Cake Blizzard. The drive through line up was extremely long so the service inside was a little slow. Although I wasn’t in a rush, I waited for a long time till they attended to me. The gold was like any Dairy Queen food with not the best customer service unfortunately, they looked stressed. The fridge on the other hand was packed with cakes and desserts. The seating was minimal due to covid-19 however the view out the window was beautiful!

The staff are almost always friendly and smiley! (Even when they want to go home!) The place was very clean and food was good and fast! Plus, the extra table service was great. Thank you!

The staff at this DQ are always nice, friendly, and fast. The food has always been nice and warm for me and the chicken is crispy which is nice. For fast food, this place does it well.

Typical DQ food. However the quality and presentation was above average. GREAT play area for the kids. Was a much needed place for the kids to play while the adults sat and ate.

I love taking the kids here. They have a play area with tables so you can all eat and watch your kids run around. Always good food. Best to go when they send the deals in the mail, so you get 2 for 1 deals.

Good stuff. Lost a couple of stars for adding nuts to blizzard when clearly said no nuts they are dangerous and pies not labelled in freezer.

Very disappointed in this dq! When you advertise the pumpkin blizzard but dont carry it! So much for the blizzard of the month

Best Dairy Queen we have ever been to. Service was great, food was the best of any DQ we've been!

There was no one available to take an order, the people who were waiting when I came in were leaving saying they were tired of waiting for no one. When a girl did show up, she took my order and told me to sit and wait. I waited and the order came wrong.
I said something and they did fix the order.

Dairy Queen always seems to be consistently good, love those cute little flame broiled cheeseburgers, and you can't beat that ice cream, if there is a place I sure like to know. Or maybe not.summer is here, got to keep that winter coat off for now.

My only complaint.it was a hot day in the the car and my icecream melted, dripping on my shirt.

I was really blown away by this banana split in very first attempt. I would definitely recommend you all to try this at least once. Such a smooth dish. Totally deserve it.

Ice cream was good. Hamburger and fries were fine. Chicken burger was really awful. It was so overcooked that it was all stringy and completely inedible. We showed the person at the counter who argued that the cook followed the instructions but eventually agreed to have replacement done. We waited over 10 minutes for it and when it came it was just as bad. The person ordering ate the bun only (due to hunger). We showed the server once again who didn't seem to understand. We refused the offer of yet another replacement and he eventually agreed to return our money for that one item only. Will not be returning for a while.

Pretty much standard DQ except I ordered to stay this time and here lies their one big fault DQ sundae with order was to come after meal fair enough but to get said sundae I had to wait inline to get rest of order already paid for when staff could have put the sundae in freezer and now make it available immediately to me at the counter instead of the dam wait I don't do waites for much they are a waste of my time and further to my critque the staff member in his haste to give me said sundae because I mentioned having to waite again slid the item across counter 2 of them with no lids on and I'm going to drive away I came close to telling huffy little smuck to find no sun shine place and stick it there
