Damiko Sushi

I ordered to go Dec 9 2023 and I saw it was under new management. They had bibimbap on special so I tried together with dynamite and California roll. We loved the bibimbap, the sauce has the perfect balance of sweet and salty yumminess with a hint of smoky beef awesomeness. California and dynamite roll were awesome too. I will definitely order again to try other stuff on their menu.

Amazing experience! I cannot speak highly enough about both the food & service and will absolutely be back soon! Paradise roll and Odon Chicken Soup was fantastic! The Girl Server is Super Friendly and cute! 13/10! Tiped well for Amazing experience!

Such a nice place. Staff are friendly and very professional. I have tried lots of sushi around Surrey and Langley. So far the best Sushi Ever. Waiting for new creative dishes.

Looks like the owners have changed. Chicken udon was delicious, so I ordered it often, but today it tastes really bad. The same goes for tofu teriyaki. I'm leaving a review after trying to protest over the phone because the money is so precious. I'm so angry.

I've been going to this restaurant for several years and seen them change owners. Recently, there was an ownership change. Initially the food was good, but now the quality and quantity have suffered. When I order the same item I ordered in the past, I noticed that there were several items missing from the dish.

We love this sushi place! The sweet chili karage chicken is amazing, as well as the Hirame roll and any of their special rolls! We usually order for take out as the Langley restaurant is quite a small space. Definitely recommend this place.

Has been my go to for years and I suspect new ownership. Definitely won’t be returning the beef teriyaki rolls didn’t not taste like beef and they didn’t give any wasabi or ginger and they messed up our order.

We are absolutely irrate with the service recieved this evening. My husband went in to pick up our order made at 9pm. By the time he arrived he was told that they'd accidentally given our order to someone else and couldn't remake it because they were closed (they're open until 9: 30). They reluctantly agreed to remake it after he insisted. Ten minutes later the people who'd taken our original order returned it and they GAVE HIM THE ORDER THAT THEY RETURNED. Not to mention they handed it over with no bag or chopsticks. The way that situation was handled was horrible and not food safe. We will not be returning.

First time ordering here and never will order again. Sushi rolls easily fell apart and rice was not fresh. Too much sauce over powered the flavour on the rolls and gyoza lacking taste.

I fear the ownership has changed at the Langley location. It has been our staple sushi place for many years. We ordered our usual rolls last week and all were prepared differently than we're used to, taste and portions were different. We did not like our order and highly considering not returning. Such a bummer.

The ambiance of the restaurant is simply stunning. The new decor under new management creates a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for a truly memorable dining experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you step through the door.

My girlfriend has ordered from here hundreds of times and used to love it. It recently came under new management, and I'd imagine where the issue came from. We ordered an appetizer tempura like usual and discovered a mushroom. We calked to confirm, as if mushrooms are now deep-fried, my girlfriend, who has a deathly serious mushroom allergy, can't eat anything deep-fried. We called to confirm and were simply told we were wrong. We told them we were staring at a mushroom, and she just said we were wrong. I attached a picture of the very much in existence mushroom. At least admit when you made a mistake when a life could literally be on the line. I'm super disappointed and won't be ordering there ever again, a shame as it's been our go-to place for years

I walked in 30 minutes before they close to find out that my order was given to the wrong family, after being told that they are close (30 min before they are said to be closed) I walked out well telling them I would write this review and give a 1 star, then then chased after me and told me they would make it. Obviously because they know there new management style had caused all these bad reviews. I walk back in to have them remake my order just to have the family they gave the wrong order to walk back in for there correct order. There fix was just handing me the bag that brought back, which is not legal. I worked in the restoration industry long enough. Thanks for the horrible experience.

Store is small and Not much seats available. Horrible service. Waste of time and money. I would rather eat 7-eleven Pizza

The chicken udon is rediculously delicious. The tea could be stronger for my taste. I thought it was warm water at first.

This has been my go to place for sushi since I moved to Langley. The people are really great, portions are huge and amazing quality and value. Occasionally we’ll get an item “on the house” which is always appreciated. We love this place, will definitely be back:)

The food is good, but the service is rubbish.
Been here twice now and the experience has been the same each time. Appies, coming after mains, slow service. They need to actually hire some staff and not just have the one person running around. I would have easily had another glass of wine and would have appreciated a glass of water, but nobody asked.

Went in solo for a light lunch. I remember this place being a great sit down to dine sushi spot.not anymore! NOBODY but me there, and the vibe I got was that they cater only to pickup or takeout now. Presentation was blah and portions have gotten smaller, as well their menu has changed. I ordered a spicy chopped scallop cone, there was no cucumber as there used to be, scallops were smaller and the nori they used was so thin the roll falls apart after one bite. Sashimi was a bit chewy and thin slices, not tender and thicker like before. Disappointed.won't be back unless they stepnit up again

Had 2 of the special rolls: the Godzilla roll and the Damiko roll. Also had the party tray, the sashimi was super fresh. Good price and service was excellent. My favourite place for sushi!

A little pricey but it was sooo good! Sockeye salmon instead of pacific was a nice treat. Super fresh with perfect temperature. Will definitely be going back to this little hidden gem.

I order from you all the time since covid. Sometimes twice a week and not small orders.

Lately you have become very stingy with the wasabi, sesame seeds, and soy sauce. This time you didn't put even 1 tiny bag of soy sauce with my order.

I don't understand it. Is wasabi expensive? Are these condiments really breaking your profit margins?

I'm at the point now where I will take my business somewhere else
