I really really really love and recommend this restaurant and I hope I can get Korean Pancake here (seafood or kimchi) in the future.

I will try the entire menu and then some. My restaurant dollars will be spent here! Everything is wonderful and healthy. I love the special Korean flavours and spicy dishes on offer.

This danpung korean restaurant is a hidden gem and best authentic korean restaurant in Nanaimo. Sogalbi is top-notch. The flavor of their sogalbi is one of the best in Canada. Excellent customer service and good food price. Will definitely come back. Thank you.

Gamjatang is the perfect for a cold rainy night!

I highly recommend this restaurant, they serve very authentic and delicious Korean cuisine, especially their pork bone soup, which is very tasty. The restaurant environment is also very bright and clean. If you like Korean food, don't miss it!

Always wondered about this place. Finally walked in. It is very clean. What a fantastic little restaurant. The owner was polite and humble. The food tasted excellent and the portions generous. Try Korean-style So Galbi. Highly recommended Will definitely go back. Absolutely phenomenal. Love, love, love this local gem!

My favourite restaurant in Nanaimo! Everytime I’ve eaten here, it has been absolutely delicious! The ttukbaegi bulgogi is fantastic. Service is great as well! A BTS song was playing, and when mentioned to the server my mom loves them, he put on an all BTS playlist! Already looking forward to my next visit

We ate Korean pork and beef BBQ meal. Both of them are delicious and fresh!
When we went there, it has promotion for 20% off. Therefore, we can eat so many things with a cheap price!

The dolsot bibimbap was very tasty. My friend couldn't eat meat so I asked for it to be no meat. They gave us the tofu instead of the meat.

The boss recognized me first on my second visit.
And asked about my children.
It's a great place for food and people.

Dumplings were good apps. But the bolgogi was the star. Everything was great, highly recommend. Decent pricing as well.

Something delicious has graced us in Nanaimo, and it's @danpung_momiji310! They're a new Korean restaurant in town located at the Port-o-Call Inn & Suites.

We ordered the gamjatang ($35 for two person portion) and it was a very generous portion. The flavors hit all the right notes and was just perfect for a cold rainy winter night!

Backtracking, we also enjoyed the banchan (side dishes). We often rate a Korean restaurant by it's kimchi and they passed @added4u's kimchi test! Needless to say, the other dishes were exceptionally seasoned and delectable. The pork dumplings, veggie dumplings and steamed egg were all so good!

But enough from me, go give them a try!

Little tucked in the corner of an apartment building, but the taste of the dish I had was excellent! A beef with glass noodles over the rice dish was yummy, and the beef was well cooked and marinated. Noodle was the same. The owner was very kind and served well. I will definitely go back and try other dishes. If you want some Korean food, don't miss this restaurant.

Such amazing food! I've eaten from here 2x now and must admit, eating in was better than takeout the #3 is my favourite all of the flavours are so rich and delicious!

We had done a tour of the Korean Food options including the new one in the North end but nothing in Nanaimo compares to DANPUNG MOMIJI310. It is simply the best. Authentic, delicious, affordable, friendly and fast. We dined in and it was incredible. We have ended our tasting tour and this will be our go to from now on. 5 Stars. Thank you

I was so excited to try the new Korean restaurant in town, so I came to give it a shot. I wasn't sure what to get, so just based on the photos on their menu ordered dishes (expecting those to be the highlights meals of the restaurant). I ordered dishes no. 01 and 13. But the food came out completely different from the pictures on the menu. The taste was also very plain as well. Disappointed.

Hands down the best Korean food I’ve ever had and genuinely the best restaurant in Nanaimo. The food is beyond incredible and warms the soul. You feel so welcomed from the moment you arrive and leave feeling nourished.

Outstanding little family run restaurant. They are doing such a great job. The service is second to none. The food is absolutely delicious! Do yourself a favor and get in there if you haven't tried them yet.

Amazing experience!
I had the kimchi soup soooo good! And my friend had one of the bbq, great food and service is excellent I dine in. I have no constructive criticism you guys are perfect I hope you stay in nanaimo forever.

Disappointing. I had lots of expectations and honestly it was disappointing. My Korean go-to food is bulgogi, which is the basic stuff that I expect it to taste great. Nope, it is not tasty bulgogi at all. We were a table of three and there was only three side dishes. Even tho we do get a refill on it, the side dishes were really just not to par compared to my experience in other Korean restaurants in Western Canada. There was one waiter who also is a cashier and he served all people on his own - we felt bad for it and tipped him good. But we won’t be back because of the food.

Great place. Really good service. Good size portions. Fair price. Nice folks. Already been twice and will be back
