They did a great job of our hedges. Ethan and his team were fast, efficient and left no trace behind.

Theo gave a good estimate, and the crew who did the work were excellent. They were tidy, professional, and cooperative.

I had a hedge that had gotten out of control and they used the bucket truck and quickly had it back in good shape. Excellent value- will book them again next year to give it an annual shape-up.

We hired Davey Tree to complete the pruning and tidying of 4 large Fir trees lining the property of our small strata. From the start, they were prompt to reply to our proposal acceptance, and Theo at the office was very accommodating and easy to communicate with for planning the project.

Arborists Ethan and Fraser, who were on site the day of scheduled work, were friendly and knowledgeable, and they skillfully completed the job as requested. Our trees look healthy and tidy, and we feel assured as we go into the Fall-Winter windstorm season.

Ethan and Kale moved two massive shrubs for me. They were efficient, neat and did not disturb other plantings in the process (which I was prepared to accept but didn't have to). The workers who removed two trees were Ben (the foreman), Zach, and Isaac. They were extremely professional and helpful.

This was a tricky job since it had to be done from our neighbour’s driveway, and the trees overhung both our home and our neighbour’s yard and driveway, which was crowded with vehicles. The were very helpful and effective in communicating with our neighbour, and they took great care to keep both properties safe from big falls during the removal process.

We felt they were in control the entire time, and despite the complications of the job, were very safe in the process. The team was kind and easy to work with throughout. Thanks for this relatively painless removal!

Ben and James from Davey Tree Expert Co.came by earlier than expected (which was a bonus) and did a thorough and very efficient job pruning a large lilac tree and removing a large portion of another tree with heavy, dead limbs. Both worked very hard, were a pleasure to deal with and paid close attention to the debris clean up which I very much appreciated. I would recommend them to family and friends without hesitation.

Tyler and Ethan from Davey Tree planted six Portuguese Laurels in our back yard yesterday and they look fantastic! The guys arrived ahead of schedule and performed the task quickly and efficiently. They even created a beautiful mulch bed at the base of the trees. Both Tyler and Ethan were knowledgeable and a pleasure to have working in our yard. This was phase two of our dealings with Davey Tree and we have one more small job yet to be done. The entire process has been smooth and on time. I had two very capable young men from Davey Tree do extensive trimming of trees and stump removal. Both Isaac and Tyler were very professional and did an excellent job and cleaned everything perfectly when they were done. I would highly recommend this company and have used them many times.

The crew from Davy tree were fantastic. It was the first time I’d ever hired a team of arborists and they were very professional, skilled and answered all my technical questions. They began the process of restoring 4 older apple trees and one plum. I’ll definitely be hiring them again.

We had Davey do a serious pruning on a neighbour's oversized and aggressive Leyland cypress (with the neighbour's permission) as well as dormant pruning on cherry and apple trees. In addition to creating much needed breathing space for our own trees Miguel Castaneda, the climber, and his associate, Tyler Cripps, were on-time, professional and communicative. They worked hard and without a break leaving behind a pristine yard and driveway. We will definitely use this service again.

The entire process from our initial phone call, through the estimate visit and right to completion was smooth and painless.

Another year, another great job. Told the guys that my yard looks like it just spent three weeks in Hawaii. Mahalo nui loa.

DO NOT HIRE. GOOD QUOTE EXPERIENCE FOLLOWED BY TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION, EQUIPMENT, AND QUALITY OF WORK.

The scope of the job was to include falling a tree on our property that was too close to a power line for me to hire our usual arborist, and cutting into 10’ lengths that I would be able
to mill into lumber.

The summary is that I was left with logs in unusable dimensions, a tree landed on my neighbours property AND LEFT THERE and I had to hire extra help to move back onto mine, no response to date to my 8 emails and 2 phone calls to attempt to remedy these issues, they have sent the half of the bill to collections that I refused to pay due to additional costs that I incurred as well as having a tree of useless to me lengths of lumber.

The workers were struggling with dull saws and the job extended over multiple days. I was told early in the job that they would be piecing the tree down, but I believe as equipment issues continued to add time, a decision was made to fall the entire tree. I was told by Ryan that they were intending to fall the tree on my driveway, so I did not think it necessary to indicate that the neighbor’s property line was just across the sections of
fence on the side of the driveway- it seemed rather obvious. I have a video of when they fell the tree and clearly it did not fall in the direction intended and landed on my neighbours’ property. I explained to Ryan and the crew that the relationship with my neighbor was tense and requested that they clean up very well and roll the logs back on to my property as soon as possible. I was assured this would happen. This was not done. The next time the crew was on site I again spoke to them letting them know the Ryan had assured me that the logs were going to be rolled back onto my property. I also noticed that the crew had started cutting logs to length but didn’t have a tape measure to accurately determine that they were at least 10’ long. I grabbed my tape measure for them to measure them out properly. The first log that they had already cut was not 10’. I left my tape measure with them. I was disappointed to learn that at job completion that every length was less than 10’ and they took my tape measure with them. Part of the justification for getting this taken down was having useable lumber in 10’ dimensions at the end and the entire tree was un-useable.

I reached out to Ryan via email on December 16th asking when the crews would be back to finish the job and explained the situation for a third time- asking that the logs be moved onto my property and explaining that I would incur additional costs if I had to do it myself. He did not respond. I then received a bill to which I spoke with the office expressing concerns that would need to be remedied prior to paying the bill. They assured me they would pass it along to the local office and someone would reach out. This never happened. 3 weeks after Davey tree was last on site, I hired some additional help and moved the logs back onto my property. I then started to receive payment notices and only 3 months after I requested to speak with someone to which I had responded again expressing my concerns, with no response.

I've received payment notices to which I have emailed Felicia in the office twice, again with no response. Today I got a call from collections and called Davey to speak with someone but I reached an answering service that couldn't forward me to anybody, they were only able to take a message. I sent another email and hope to get this resolved, but I don't have high hopes that this will be settled.

Davey tree experts recently completed two big projects at our house. Daniel, Bobby, Zack, Isaac, Liam, Felicia and more, I want to thank you for your excellent services.
On time, professional, skilled, polite and kind you did an amazing job to my full satisfaction.

I've had Davey Tree attend to my property multiple times over the last several years. They were professional, friendly and they genuinely appeared passionate about their job. My trees look fantastic and I would recommend giving them a call!

Great job, prompt, on time and a professional two-man crew were in and out in less than 15 minutes. The crew did leave an ugly oil stain on the road way which was a bit disappointing. Also I did find the price point a bit high. $700 to remove a fairly small 45' pine tree seemed a bit expensive, but that was likely because they used a large bucket truck and removed the tree within 15 mins. Still if you pro-rated that work over an hour, that would have equated to about $2,800/hour (Robert Kardashian money) and that is too expensive imo. You get what you pay for and I got almost zero mess, no fuss and it was over quicker than most people can drink a large cup of coffee.

Thank you Davey Tree Expert Co. - you did a great job of cleaning and prunin the dead branches on our trees that had not been looked after for 50 years! You gave us excellent advice on how you would proceed and why and we appreciated that too. We spoke to you when you did a great job on our neighbours huge hedge - word of mouth and a visual is the best advertising you can get.
