Summer 2020 managers are racist towards Asians.
I arrived at Davis Cove Resort in a separate vehicle alone to visit and welcome the family once I finished work. The male "owner" or so he calls himself approached me and kept shouting about covid and advised me I had to leave. He wouldn't let me take a few steps away from my truck to enter the property, he was intimidating and extremely rude especially for the hospitality industry. The woman "owner" behind him was cursing from her patio. After I explained I was local and we rented 3 cabins for the week, he told me the whole family should stay at my place instead and he didnt care if we all left. He asked me why my family wasn't staying at my place instead. Their excuse for not letting me on the property was "no visitors are allowed" at this point I responded "perfect, I'm a registered guest" He said I wasn't, dismissing me and not caring about anything I had to say he didnt ask me for my name after I told him the cabin number we were staying in. They wouldn't allow me to register as a guest either, I even offered to sign any forms they needed if they are concerned about the virus. I tried to explain that I was very much aware about the pandemic and being a public Realtor I understand protocols. I also mentioned we have members in our family who are in the health care industry and we take this serisouly. At one point, I had to say "you are making me feel uncomfortable, you are giving me anxiety and your attitude towards me was unnecessary, I've had a bad day and you don't even know me". It was incredibly hard for me not to lose my temper but for the sake of the family's visit, I remained calm.

I called my boyfriend, informed him I had to leave and went home in tears. He immediately left the family dinner which caused a lot of stress to everyone. They were all here to visit us. We didnt stay a single night with the family all week, call it pride I guess. It was extremely uncomfortable visiting the family throughout the day trying to avoid the "owners" all week. They would sit on the beach, use the only fire pit at night, suntan in the common areas every afternoon and we watched them get in their boat and leave for 7 hours one day. It seems as if they had entitlement as if it was their own personal property and we were all just barely welcomed guests. They apologized to the caucasians of the family but not to me and told them it was a misunderstanding. What was the misunderstanding, the colour of my skin? They never apologized to me period.

I should also mention we sadly left a large salad bowl behind (part of a set) and asked the next morning to retrieve it, they told us we had to wait a few days until the next guests leave once again due to covid. Understandable. We also sent a pic of what the bowl looks like and explained where it was left. The family tried calling for 2 days no answer. They texted back "not here".

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Davis Cove Resort and I can honestly say that it exceeded all my expectations. Our family opted for a beachfront villa, and it turned out to be the perfect choice for us. Not only did we have a stunning view to enjoy with our meals but it also allowed us to keep a close eye on our older kids while we relaxed on the shaded deck.

One thing that really stood out to us was the resort's attention to detail. They provided us with all so many beach necessities, including life jackets. Additionally, they even had a paddle boat available for us to play with, which added a whole new level of fun to our beach experience.

The resort's focus on family-friendly amenities was another major highlight for us. They have a wonderful play area specifically designed for little ones, ensuring that they have as much fun as the older kids.

Overall, our experience at Davis Cove Resort was amazing. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway that caters to the needs of both older and younger children.

Steps away from your own private slice of paradise are the cabins at Davis Cove! My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in Cabin 2 which was a bit further up from the water than some of the other cabins but it only meant we could see more of the vast open lake from our incredible little deck. The cabin had everything you need for a lake stay and, though we were only there for 3 nights, we easily could have stayed much longer. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was better than we have at home, and the small kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook up everything delicious!
The private slice of beach attached to Davis Cove is donned with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas and a small deck area with a sun cover that became my favourite place to crack open a book! The dock that services the cove is essentially brand new and makes for a perfect spot to jump into the water!
Peachland itself is a quaint little town with the seaside village just a 10-15 minute walk away where you'll be able to find a diving board, ice cream shop, coffee shop and so much more!

Overall it was a delightful stay!

I spent the long weekend at Davis Cove in Unit 2 with my wife. Accomodations were clean and spacious. Having our own kitchen there was a nice bonus! Davis Cove has its own private dock and beach access, it was awesome to be steps from the lake. It's a nice getaway for a quiet weekend for a couple, but I could also see it being a good spot for some lakeside family fun.

There was a lot to do offsite as well. A 10 minute walk took us to a cute shopping strip with a busy local coffee shop. A little further down the road takes you to Swim Bay- a great place for kids (or kids at heart) with its free-access high dive and rope swing.

All in all, it's a great summer vacation spot with fantastic value! If you're planning to go to Lake Okanagan, definitely stay at Davis Cove!

We stayed in unit 9 for 2 nights and had an excellent stay. The suite was newly renovated to a high standard with a very well stocked kitchen with high end appliances. The spa bath was gorgeous! The beds were very comfortable and the quiet air con made for great sleeps. The patio is spacious with high quality sectional furniture and chairs to lounge and take in the exceptional waterfront view. There is also a high quality Napolean BBQ. The whole property is well kept with beautiful landscaping. The beach was raked every morning and there were many loungers with umbrellas available. The kids loved the floating trampoline and paddle boat. There are also a bunch of beach games available. We didn’t need to leave this little slice of lakefront paradise. Highly recommend!

We stayed in suite 9 and 10 for two weeks and I can’t think of a better location on the entire lake to enjoy time with family. The suites share a deck which makes it perfect for two family’s to share. The suites are freshly renovated to a very high standard with a beautiful bathroom, high end appliances, comfortable beds, a brand new dock, shaded commons area, beach games, loungers and the list goes on. An IGA and liquor store is a 2 minute drive while a coffee shop, excellent restaurants, a water obstacle course, diving boards and zip line is a casual 5 minute bike away. The best Winery’s are only 10-20 mins away. For family’s I recommend bringing yours bikes and make the trip to Myra Canyon, visit the kangaroos at Kangaroo Creek and explore Knox Mountain.

We stayed in unit 9 for 5 nights in July. The unit is fully renovated and beautiful. Lovely finishings and high end appliances.
The unit is right on the beach with amazing views of the lake, tons of beach loungers, and games to play with the family.
The location can not be beat. 4 min drive to groceries, gas, liquor. But still quiet and peaceful. Can’t wait to go back!
