I notice new owners really cut corners. Why is the bacon smaller size but same price? Paying more but getting less. Same with cold cuts.

Definitely the best beef jerky place we have ever been! Came like a year ago on the way to camping, literally fell in love with the beef jerky, nicely flavored, spot on spices and nice chewyness! Bought like 5 lbs in total because they always ran out of the good stuff! The owner told us to call ahead, will definitely do that next time!

Ordered a ham for Easter dinner.when picked up and got a good look at it Easter Sunday realized it was jusjust a large hock than goodness we went out to a local grocery store and got a real ham last minute. I will never shop Davis meats again. Almost ruin Easter dinner been shopping there for 40 years and we travel across the valley to get there

Davis Meats has always gone above and beyond in terms of quality and affordability. I buy their steaks, (especially Rib eyes), bacon, jerky, ground beef, burgers and ground Bison. We bought one of the value packs, and were blown away by the quantity and quality.

If you’re looking for some good beef jerky, these guys know what they’re doing. Their jerky is insanely addictive, and I can confidently say its the best you’ll ever get your hands on.

We were able to order exactly what we wanted via email. One of the products we requested was unavailable, but they called to ask if we wanted a substitute.

Our order was just over $200 and since our car had broken down, Wayne offered to deliver it at no charge for us!

I haven't been in since the change of ownership but I will not be frequenting Davis like I used to. No deli meats, no fresh marinated steaks and even the frozen ground beef was not looking great. This place was my go to for all my meat except chicken and I don't like Remple's ground, I don't know where to go now. The staff was polite and helpful enough, they just no longer serve up what I'm in the market for.

The frozen marinated steak I did buy was not marinated well, it was very tough and the flavour was not there, half went in the garbage. I normally get 2 steaks for around the same price, maybe it was too big to marinate well
There was only Turkey deli meat pre-sliced in the case nothing else, my brother was there for ham and there was none, which was disappointing to both of us because I had to convince him it was worth making the extra trip for it. Also, I like to choose what thickness my deli meat is cut at and sometimes I like it packaged in specific sizes.

The Hungarian farmer sausage was not what it used to be and tastes like a garlic sausage/coli which is gross to me, I hate to do it but will choose Costco's farmer sausage every time now. The ground beef was decent but they raised the price $2/lb (which was already at a premium) from 6.99 to 8.99. It is all I will now come here for unfortunately and looking for somewhere else for that now too.

Been a customer for long time and always make a trip from lower mainland to Davis meats. I always get bacon but I got family pack that the taste was so different then before. I was afraid that they changed something and contact Davis meats in the phone and by email. The person on the email was so helpful and said that everything they do to the bacon is still the same. So I just got bad pack and they help me out. I just wanna say that Wayne gave me great customer service and did more than he should. Great product and great customer service.

This place used to be great. I have found that the product has changed and not for the best. They have taken their own spin on things. The bacon used to be the best I've ever had. Now I will look elsewhere. Dbl smoked, more like a dbl joke. Sorry guys, but you have lost my business for now. I will be back, just not anytime soon. I hope that you can make it work. Good luck.

Whether you eat meat or not, Davis meats has many options, from best cuts of meat to smoked salmon, pierogies, home pies, baked potatoes, the best beef jerky and many more. Prices are great, everything is always fresh and the staff are amazing, always make me feel appreciated!

Picked up a pound of bacon for Christmas morning, and it was the best bacon we’ve ever enjoyed! The price was also very reasonable.

I would like to thank Davis Meats, for allowing me in after hours, on a day where the deep snow and freezing rain was forcing an early closure. The gentleman working by himself, refused a tip I had offered, and provided friendly service until I left the parking lot. Definitely worth going there many more times in the future. Super excited for our Christmas Eve STANDING RIB ROAST DINNER!

The seasoned tri-tip is amazing and easy to bbq! The t-bones can be cut right then and there to your preferred thickness and they are amazing. Quality meat!

Great little store. Friendly staff and wonderful selection of steaks. Can't beat the prices. This place is a hidden gem! Gotta try the beef jerky too. As good as it gets!
