Days Inn by Wyndham Cranbrook Conference Centre

I spent a really cozy night, but at the morning I couldn't belive what I saw!
I went to eat the breakfast and all the things were single-use. Hopefully I had my own plate and a fork in my car so I used that, but still every piece of bread, jam, cheese were covered in plastics.
Workers & service were really nice at least

The rooms were alright but the service was horrible. We held an event here and it just wasn't good. A lot of promises and random service. There didn't seem to be any method to the madness of the buffet's layout and there was no assistance to clean up or resetting for the morning. Staff left early and showed up late. Guests were helping set up. Also, the dance floor fell apart. The pool was a hit and the fires outside were fun for marshmallows.

My bf and I stayed here for a couple nights while we move from Vancouver to Saskatchewan. The staff here are very accommodating, the rooms are nice and clean. We spent some time in the arcade and at the Indian restaurant in the hotel. Overall we had a wonderful experience. I've stayed here before and this is my favourite place to stay when I have to travel through Cranbrook. Bonus too is that it's in a really good location.

Excellent staff. Very helpful. Got us into a room away from the restaurant.
Had a king bed with a great mattress, supportive without being hard. Had a restful sleep.
Breakfast had good choices with the gentleman serving the hot food keeping everything hygenic.
Also, hotel was pet friendly.

The hotel was very reasonably priced and clean and the staff were very accommodating, but it needs a facelift. A fresh coat of paint, some upgraded flooring and improved lighting would make a huge difference in first impressions.

Front desk lady was very rude. Room was nice but not very clean. Don't stay in rooms on front of the building as they are very loud and bright.

All staffs are welcoming and very nice.this is our second time here and we really loved it here.breakfast are awesome too.the Filipino server/cook during breakfast are very nice and was doing a great job.he was alone serving us all and he was very busy because of a big line up yet he still manage to served us all.very good in multi tasking.

The air conditioning in the room was inadequate. However the staff let us use a fan to help with the issue. The problem is that this is an old building. It uses a chiller type air conditioning system. Cold water runs through pipes routed to each room. A fan in the ceiling blows air over the cool water filled pipes reducing the air temperature. If the pipes are too cold, condensation forms on the pipes and drips into the rooms through the ceiling. That's why they keep the water temperature in the pipes at a higher temperature that can adequately cool the rooms.
Another issue is that the website advertised a heated pool. Well the water is 80 degrees Fahrenheit but management stated that it cannot go any higher than 82. This means that the pool is not really at a temperature that a reasonable person would consider it a heated pool.

We enjoyed our stay here. It seemed clean and although it was older, it was fixed up nicely. Beautiful foyer. The breakfast was the best we had on our entire trip. Didn't get to use the pool.

Hotel looked great, lots to do with kids. Check in was quick and courteous. We arrived quite late and just spent one night so our kids didn't make use of the games room or pool. I was not impressed with our room though. The walls are thin we could hear whole conversations in neighbouring rooms as well as from guests at the pool/lounge area outside even after 11pm and our second floor room was not over the pool. Older rooms with some esthetic/maintenance issues (peeling wallpaper), but the worst part was the bathroom was not clean. There was a thick layer of sticky dust over the wall mounted hairdryers (eye level) and some other fixtures too which had clearly been in place for a while. Shower tiles were very grimy and 2 out of the 4 towels were dirty (with some grey-brown dirt streaks on them). We skipped breakfast as we were uncomfortable with the cleaning standard we experienced. It was not up to the standard I would expect for the price of the stay.

One thing was disappointing the breakfast buffet dished out by an attendant who said no you cannot have more sausage it's not permitted, Really? And the advertisement in the room read waffles made to order. They were actually frozen toasted to order.

Nice soft towels. Comfortable pillows and beds. However their black out curtains can't handle their giant lit up sun sign. The room is quite bright.

Right on the main drag easy to get too. The Lobby and front counter was nice. The bedrooms though could use a upgrade. Lady at front counter was helpful

No actual AC in the building, coupled with the loyd intersection outside the windows, makes this a terrible place to stay in the summer

The elevator has an unpleasant mettalic smell

Service is great, the bay leaf restaurant had good food.

The positives: the breakfast, clean rooms, overall pleasant staff, delicious food at the restaurant
The negatives: 2.5 hours of sleep due to the single pane windows + heavy traffic. (Awakened by semi trucks + extra loud motorbikes seemingly driving through the bedroom,) there was very low water pressure, all of the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, and no pool as of the afternoon of Friday on the May long weekend -disappointing.

**I drive all over the province for work + have stayed at hundreds of hotels. This one was the noisiest. So, if you decide to stay here, consider booking one of the inside rooms. They may still be loud, but not likely as loud as the street-side ones.

**I did communicate with the front desk. Most hotels would offer some compensation for multiple issues. Nothing offered just agreement that the room wasn't sound-proof + the traffic loud.

I don't normally leave reviews but I feel compelled to express my utmost appreciation for Martha at the front desk. Her exceptional service made our stay truly delightful. While our room was clean, we did experience a minor inconvenience as the AC was not functioning properly. Nonetheless, it is evident that the hotel is well-maintained.

The kindness and warmth displayed by the staff, gives us every reason to stay here during our future travels through Cranbrook.

We pulled in around midnight after a day of dirt biking. All we really look for in a hotel is a comfy bed, some tv to watch and a hot shower. We had none of that.
No hot water (had to change rooms to a different floor, all floors had no hot water. We were told to wait and it will warm up. 1am still no hot water. We had to go to bed literally disgusting from riding all day or have an ice cold shower. The tv was broken too and wouldn’t connect. The bed was uncomfortable (paid for king, got moved to queen). When speaking to the front desk at the evening and morning, they really didn’t seem bothered
