Days Inn by Wyndham Kamloops BC

Although this is an older building, it has been renovated where needed. It is clean and convenient. With pool and hot tub as well as convenient fitness room. We stayed in a room with small kitchenette. Free breakfast, parking and wifi and access to laundry makes it a great fit for a night or longer. Worth mentioning also is the TV doesn't beat you over the head with promotional information about hotel chain and the TV guide and settings work like at home. I have members of my family whom are deaf and we are always aware of the ability to get programing with closed captioning. So thank you Days Inn for making our stay comfortable

We have travelled with a family and our toddler inspected the room throughly) It was a great option for a late night stop. Nothing too luxurious, all basic but very clean. Free breakfast was surprisingly decent. The only thing were very cold hallways and not appealing hot tub. I really appreciated Dove products in the bathroom.

Days Inn Kamloops, BC was very clean overall and a very friendly staff. Booked the room through an app and made a few requests through the app and the staff had no problem holding up their end so that was fantastic. It's within walking distance to most everything you need as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a friendly, enjoyable, and laid back stay.

We had a great stay here. It was very clean, the staff were friendly and the location was very central. The breakfast room was well stocked and very tidy. Aaradhya was manning it and she was very friendly and very attentive. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Kamloops. Great value.

We booked this hotel weeks in advance and called to confirm our reservation only to show up and find our room had been given away. We were forced to find another hotel at 10pm with two very tired kids. When we found a room at another hotel they confirmed this same scenario has been happening quite often at Days Inn by Wyndham Kamloops.

This hotel is in a very good location, near a local mall, many services and Costco. That being said, this hotel is overpriced for the quality and condition of the rooms. The walls and door trim were grubby with hand prints. This is a clear 2-star hotel. Our room in particular was quite strange and did not provide a warm home feeling. I would recommend a stay elsewhere.

Hello, I wanted to share my recent experience at a hotel I stayed at on July 27th. The service was excellent and the room was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. One of my favourite parts of the stay was having breakfast outside, which was an amazing experience. I also wanted to express my gratitude to Ms Prabhjot for her assistance with our transaction and for promptly refunding the CC holding money. Her efforts are greatly appreciated. As a token of our appreciation, we have sent a gift card to her through Amazon and hope that she receives it soon.

Got stuck in Kamloops for a week. Not much available and this place made room for us for as long as we needed to stay and took good care of us.

Very friendly staff including the manager/ owner as well! Stayed there 2 nights and was more than what I expected! Great service! Will go back again and again! Thanks!

WARNING! Please note our experience with this hotel and use extreme caution when presenting your credit card information!

In June our family booked 2 rooms at the Days Inn Kamloops with our Wyndham Rewards points. Both rooms should have been free of charge as indicated on our folio provided by Days Inn. We presented our credit card to hold the number as usual standard practice for hotels. Not once was it mentioned that they would put any charges onto said card.
We checked out on the Sunday, everything seemed fine, there was no issue until we arrived home to find the hotel staff had charged our credit card in two separate transactions for the rooms totaling $224.00
I immediately called the hotel to request refund and see why the charges were made. They chalked it up to a 'mistake' and started stating that there was no management available that day to process the refund. I called back no less than 15 times over the course of 2 weeks in an attempt to get my funds returned to me. During these calls I was yelled at, told I needed to 'let it go', 'calm down its not a big deal' and making all kids of rude comments. I explained several times that this was actually an unauthorized charge they had absolutely no right to take from my account.
I called Wyndham to assist once it became apparent Days Inn had no intention to actually refund my money as they promised several times it would be sent 'that day' and then it would never come.
The worker who I spoke with multiple times was incredibly rude considering I did nothing wrong in the situation and was being understanding and hopeful at the beginning that it would be an easy resolution.
The manager was a whole other story. Raising his voice several times, telling me to 'be quiet', hung up on me 3 times throughout our calls, and would get insanely defensive when I pointed out that if I don't have proof of refund soon I would put forward a claim with my card company.
Aside from all this, the jacuzzi tub didn't function, the rooms floor was bubbled up and sticky, it was 2/5 for cleanliness and the amenities were lacking.

Long story short, while this is definitely a budget hotel, it still doesn't even come close to acceptable. Use caution with your cards at this location as I am still not convinced that I would have ever received my money back if Wyndham had not gotten involved. 0/10 for me. Do better Days Inn, you should be ashamed of yourselves, especially the manager. Not one apology, not once did they take ownership of the mistake.

Our room was clean, AC was good. Toilet water was running after flushing and won't stop. Had to remove the tank lid and fix it myself. Breakfast was ample.

Great place to stay! Rooms clean, customer service was 5 star! I asked for gluten free and he bought a loaf of bread for me!

An affordable stay on a busy weekend. Clean, staff were polite, the breakfast was good. Room had things you need for a weekend stay like an Iron, microwave and fridge. It was quiet given it is near the highway.

Beautiful location. Not great parking. Nice breakfast and wonderful rooms. The receptionist were very nice.

The room was clean and smelled fresh.
The staff were very friendly and happy to pet my little dog.
Great location to everything.
Good parking in the back which is monitored by security cameras.

We'll be checking in again next time we are in Kamloops.

This Holiday Inn hotel is NOT a 3 star. Room is very standard but drywall patching not finished or painted. Heater/AC unit blows only cold air and when reported staff provided a stand alone electric heater? !? That is the only reason I gave it 2-stars as this building looks dated and no appeal. 1 1/2 star at best.

Oh, I almost forgot but eventhough the front staff asked if I traveled with a dog, to which I replied I did not, the breakfast was seriously not even adequate for a dog. I didn't even have time to take a picture I was out of there so fast.

I believe this can't be rectified by their maintenance staff either.

Lovely budget hotel in Kamloops.
Was there for a night and had a very pleasant night rest. The building is old but well maintained. The front-desk staff was helpful. As a bonus, they allowed us check out 2 hours later than the check out. I was really grateful for that.

The only issue I had with the hotel was that the breakfast room was left unattended for the 30 minutes I was there with my spouse. Bins were full and the pancake machine was not very clean.

I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Kamloops. For the price, I had a very good experience.
