I chilled with some friends here. The vibe is real and the peach creamsicle was really good considering I don’t like beer. Very cool place and good music 8/10 recommend
Dead Frog has a fun Hoppy Hour! Ordered chips and salsa ($6) and Tater Tot Poutine ($14) and Habanero Hazy IPA. Servers are friendly and brewery is kid friendly. Only slight complaint is that the tasting room is literally right beside the brewery so there is a slight lingering fermentation aroma. Some might like the smell, just a bit strong for my liking.
Went there for a few drinks with friends. Very friendly service. A wide range of beers on tap, lots to choose from. They also have a few cocktails along with some different drinks with beer. Although we did not have any food other than popcorn, they do have a very good menu, there were a few things we wanted to try. But, we just were not hungry. Will definitely go back to try the place out again. Keep in mind that this place does get busy on the weekends so arrive early or expect a little wait.
Service was great, wings were a bit dry. Live music was a nice bonus. The Pale Ale was fantastic, lots of good sours too (maybe too many?). I think a chiller IPA is needed on the menu, but that's just me. Cheers.
Spent the evening here with my family and had an amazing time! We had the pleasure to be served by Mikayla…she was the sweetest! Super attentive and quick…accompanied by great beer and live music…the best Sunday! You must order the tator tot poutine!?
Good place to hang out. Luv their beer.especially beer slushies. Pretzel was good. Warm and soft. You must try it with the dip. Dipping sauce was crazy great.
Nice little microbrewery with good beers a friendly wait staff and food. I didn’t try the food but it smelled amazing wafting by me. It’s nice to see a microbrewery that is more than just hopped up ales. Steel Toe Lager-refreshing and smooth with a creamy body. Perfect for an afternoon on the patio. Vanilla Coffee Porter-Nice treat with a long rich finish perfect for the fall and winter season But Brown Ale-Nice rich ale that has complexity with just the right amount of hops. Another good one for a cool evening. Redrum Spiced Red Ale-Four for four, that’s a rarity for me. Kudos! Bonus is that part of sales in Oct goes to breast cancer research
Great Food! Everyone enjoys the exciting choices. Mine is the vegetarian slider nachos. Apparently the Popcorn bowl is a must. The choices over beer and low prices also make it easy to have two. One of our neighborhood pubs.
We held our company Christmas party at Dead Frog Brewery last year and it was absolutely amazing! The ambience in the private brewery space felt festive and unique. Kellie and her team were extraordinary hosts, as they paid special attention to our needs and their service was always incredibly quick. Our drinks and plates were never empty. The menu had a great selection that seemed to please everyone, including those with dietary restrictions. We indulged in delicious drinks and food all night, and our team is still talking about all the fun that we had! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a place to hold a company celebration, or just a great gathering with friends! Great food, great service, and great beer - what more can you ask for?
Would not recommend this place. Food is good, but they underpay their staff, and false advertise. The owners are quite rude, the front of house Manager Kelly seemed like she had no idea how to do her job. I feel for Kitchen staff after hearing her talk to them in the most disrepective way. When this was pointed out to the owners they defended her actions because I guess the manager is their daughter.
Very disappointed. Was just in and had a beer split on me and my partner, barley apologized and neglected our table. Would have ordered meals if our server came back and checked in. No compensation or discount at all. Pour customer service especially to a customer was just covered in beer.
I've had the worse service here the other night. I understand they are understaffed, however, they should not seat all their tables if they can't keep up. Not only did we wait over an hour for food with little communication, they didn't realize until an hour after we ordered they were out of ingredients. As well, the server spilled my beer all over me and did nothing to rectify the situation. I came to drink beer not wear it as a sticky mess. I won't be returning and encourage others to avoid.

One of the few micro breweries investing fully into flavour and not into marketing, the creamsicle ales with lactose are a phenomenal experience that pushes boundaries and creates good beers. Well done.
This place was the worst service experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant or brewery. I came here with intention of trying most of the beers on the menu, as I often do while travelling. After being served a flight, I asked the bartender to go through the beers with me and explain them. He rudely directed me to the receipt which only had the names of the beer, and then proceeded to walk away and have a conversation with other team members where they insulted other guests within the restaurant. I wanted to order food, and was never approached to do so. Don’t you guys think it’s weird that someone came in saying they wanted to try everything, but left after a single fight without tipping? That’s because you lost a massive sales opportunity. I was prepared for a large tab, but left after spending $11.50. The beer? Some of the worst I’ve ever had. They use some sort of additive that gives the flavours an extremely artificial quality. All in all, this is worst brewery I’ve ever been to. The entire staff working this evening (august 10,2022) do not belong in the service industry, as their conduct was despicable. I invite the owner of this establishment to reach out to me via this review, as I cannot imagine any business owner with the reach that dead frog has in the area to be pleased with the abhorrent conduct of their staff. Let me be clear: the staff ignored a paying customer, and then insulted multiple people in the restaurant within earshot of a guest. If you value good service stay away. This isn’t the place for you.
Customer service was fantastic when I had an issue. Beer is absolutely great, you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to visiting their location soon:)
Good food and great beer selection.especially if you like your sours! Great patio area and live music on the weekends. If you haven't stopped by yet, you should definitely do so
Great pit stop for beverages and food. Dogs allowed outside on patio. There is cider and available for those non beer drinkers. Make sure to take some beer home!
Sat there for 30 minutes, without any stretch, actual 30 minutes. Girl who at one point said I’ll be there soon ended up at the bar area chatting with other staff. Tried to get self serve from the bar and was turned away. They didn’t even care when 5 of us walked out
Good food, live entertainment, and they actually had a couple darker ales on tap during the summer to enjoy. (I love the less pale beers and they're hard to find in the summer when I enjoy them the most)
Beer was good but they were out of popcorn and didn't mention it until after it was ordered as a side on my to go order. I declined their chips and asked if I could just have the seasoning for the popcorn instead and they charged me $1 for it and didn't mention it would be extra. Unimpressed.
I really like this place, and it's always busy, so that speaks volumes in itself. They have a great variety of beers to suit anyone's preference, was well as a couple non-beer options for those who want something else. The food menu is is not extensive (makes sense for a brewery), but what they do serve is pretty good!
My husband and I went into Dead Frog two weeks ago because I am a pregnant lady and I am craving nachos frequently. We were greeted warmly and seated swiftly by Raman. However, we didn’t realize that the kitchen had closed. Raman must’ve seen the disappointment on my face and quickly worked some magic! She offered us wonderful hospitality and even brought out some tortilla chips to curb my craving along with a few sample brews for my hubs. DF is a local gem and hospitality pro’s like Raman cannot be beat ️ P. S Looking forward to some Warhead Sours after baby is born!
The atmosphere was great when you walked in, and the service was friendly and great from the moment we entered. The drinks were delicious and they have lots of great selections to choose from. Since it was national tater tot day, it only made sense to order the tater tot poutine. The tater tots were nice and crisp and the gravy rich. The rest of their food menu looked really good, and the food brought to the other tables looked tasty, so I look forward to trying other menu items in the future.
I've been here a few times over the years Andi must say they really have stepped up their quality.dead frog always had decent beer but the food was just regular pub fare.well, I must say recently they've stepped it up a notch.the beers are excellent and interesting, and the food is well made, well thought out, delicious, and yet doesn't stray far from pub fare vibe they started with.dead frog has ascended into the top ranks of breweries in the gvrd.
I had always wanted to stop here and check this place out and finally had the opportunity. Im glad I did. Stopped in with the boys for a beer and a bite, amazing selection and the food was awesome. Great atmosphere, great service!
The food is good. Atmosphere is good. The fact there is table service, is also good. The beer however seems average. Nothing I found amazing, but none too bad either.
Very welcoming brewery with a great selection of beers for everyone! The popcorn is VERY addicting and comes in a huge bowl! Definitely recommend Dead Frog!
Black raspberry sangria sour Winter beeracle winter ale Pink lemonade wow sour seltzer Purple haze hazy IPA Mandarin orange kettle sour Warhead blackberry imperial sour Big melon little berries imperial Pilsner Moscow mule lime ginger white ale The nutty uncle Redrum Black frost Maple popcorn Apple cider
Excellent service, and delicious beer. The tater tot poutine was fantastic, and the purple haze x warhead sour remix was excellent. Chicken wings were average but lacked crunch. Our server was wonderful and attentive. Overall, this place had a fun ambiance, and a wide selection of beer. The menu is rather limited, and I'd encourage the restaurant to add some additional food options.
The beer is fantastic, but the service at "late" night is sub par. Twice now my friends and I have gone two hours before close and the staff has been very unwelcoming. They are very cold and obviously unhappy we are there. If you close at 10 you should be grateful for the business that comes in at 8. We all ordered our beer and no one came to check in us or refill our beer for an extended period of time. When the server came up to us we were told it was their last call and felt very alienated for being there. I think they could accumulate much more business and happier customers if their closing wait staff was friendly and trying to do their jobs. The beer is good but the unpleasantness from their staff makes me and my 5 friends not very inclined to come back.
Great tasting beer and our service was great. This place has THE BEST baked macaronie and cheese I have ever had, we will definitely be going here often.
Been coming since it opened up and still one of my favorite breweries. With the great selection of sours all the way to the dad beers. Oh and give the popcorn a go, you'll be glad you did
Visited a few weeks back and I had a great experience. The popcorn was delicious and the staff were awesome and really good at making conversation. Specifically, Tiara and Raman were super sweet! They brought us tasters of new beers and we ended up staying longer than we originally planned for to try full sizes of those beers!
The beer here is amazing with lots of selection of high concentration beers ranging from 8-10%. The popcorn was a lot better than I imagined, I would get that again. Classic sandwiches left me satisfied and looking forward to coming back for both food and drink. Cheers guys
They should have more non-alcoholic options for those who don’t want to drink. Service was very slow the parking is not very accommodating I do like that there is dog friendly patio and the best part was going to the dispensary next door for something I do enjoy part taking in
Came by at 10: 45pm looking to buy some cans for take away and they said the till was closed even though they supposedly are open till 11pm. If you aren’t open till 11, update your hours so people don’t waste their time driving to you.
This place was great! Food was good, atmosphere was great! And our server, Raman, knew exactly what we would like when we told our likes and dislikes. She was super sweet, will definitely come back because of her!
A full 5 starts for their beer, food, and staff! Mandarin orange and warhead are GOAT. I wish for more nitro taps.
The maple bacon popcorn is absolutely delicious, the wings are a great addition to the menu, the nachos could use some more cheese, and the pear in the turkey wrap is not my thing but others seem to like the sweet balance it creates with the pickled onions.
Big fan of this place! They have a great beer selection and good food. The service is what brings me back. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating.
Absolutely loving this brewery. Recently moved to the area, and am making it a regular stop on the weekend. Every sunday live music, which is a serious bonus. Very quality performers. And oh ya.the beer is mighty fine as well. Have yet to try the food, but my pal loves it. Jarod behind the bar is a beauty, super engaging and well versed in the beer lingo. Give the nitro beers a try, unreal! Keep up the good work dead frog!
Local to dead frog and enjoy it a lot. Not one to post reviews but feel have to put a shout out to Neil. Almost every time we have been there he has gone above and beyond. Knows all the customers and makes huge effort to strike up a conversation with everyone to see how their tasting is going and if there anything extra he can do. Huge props to him! Selling the brand and then some.
This brewery stands out to me more than all the others. We walk in there more and more recently because a man there named Neil, constantly provides outstanding customer service. He is so invested in this service, I thought he must own the brewery. Everytime we are there he finds us a table, is so quick to make sure our needs are met & follows up to make sure we are happy, and is always going above and beyond. I highly recommend dead frog because of this amazing customer service and of course the amazing beer!
Miserable girl named Lane who works there hates her job you can tell she doesn’t wanna be there. Does not smile whatsoever very unfriendly. She should be fired.
My wife and I came up from Edmonton to visit as many craft breweries as we could in a week (31 in total!) and Dead Frog was definitely one of our favourites. While we didn't try the food, the beer was amazing. The staff took the time to talk to us about the beers and their taproom (he might have been the Manager) and made us feel very welcome. And so many awesome games to play, such as Cards Against Humanity. We hope to visit again soon one day!
We have been before but keep coming back for the service (that’s all due to Neil) and the beer (thanks dead frog). Wonderful beer and experience to match. Neil goes well beyond the normal experience and makes each customer feel welcomed. If I wasn’t a customer I would assume I was visiting family. Looking forward to our next visit.
Really great place for a few beers and food. The flights are really reasonable (around $8) and because it’s bar service you get your your beer super fast! Super casual ambience. Seems to be a very popular spot as every table was full when I was there. Lots of options to take home with you as well! Can’t wait to go back.
Fun event for the Christmas party with the ugly sweater event and love their many unique beer options nice atmosphere with tons of board games to play and good food overall a fun experience
Great selection of beers, great parking, clean, good music and ambience. Now decorated for Halloween. I'll be back and certainly a good spot to stop along the highway during traffic jam. But don't over drink and drive. Hotel is just around the corner.
Pretty busy brewery. Ample parking. Friendly staff. Food was well priced and the snack board was delicious. Got a flight of the 3 sours and the a cider. Cranberry Kettle Sour - wouldn’t call it a sour and was pretty disappointing SMS (Strawberry Mint Sour) - could definitely taste the mint notes and was pretty tasty Mandarin Orange Kettle Sour - favorite sour from the flight. Very citrusy. Truck 59 cider was yummy
Large variety of beer on tap made in house. Food menu, including meat and cheese board, macaroni, avocado toast, popcorn, chicken wings and tacos. Lots of parking, great use and design of room, lots of natural light and outdoor seating as well!
Love the beer and the chats. Too bad we had to leave. A very talented musician drowned out any hope of normal voice level communications. Why do they have to play so loudly? Several groups left due to the high volumes!
I hadn't tried many Dead Frog Brewery products before coming here. There were so many that I liked that I had a hard time deciding. Kat was great and talked with me about each of the beers.
