Good Day, I recently had wonderful expereince of A/C repair with Decker's Auto. Wayne Decker and his team has professional service and customer service oriented. Please continue good service in the community.

Been looking for a good honest shop for years. The boys at Decker will fix your car issues and you'll be on your way in no time.

Installed a new catalytic converter that was stolen off my vehicle. Good price easy to communicate with.

Unable to get help. Pushy mechanic was more interested in making money than getting a customer. Go work for Canadian tire!

Took my car for an oil change. They installed the engine lower cover in the wrong position with the front side hanging and not connected. Rubbing on the asphalt when going on road bumps.
Had to stop on the side of the highway, go under the car and take it out!

You know how they say it's hard to find a good mechanic? How about a good and honest one? Well then, go to Decker's and you'll find them there.

Surprisingly dishonest despite what all the "5 star" reviews say. Also very racist towards Indigenous people, can't stand it and won't ever go again.would not recommend

I replaced my car battery at Decker's Automotive 4 months ago, battery has 3 years warranty.last week battery died, I could not start my car, I went back to Decker's, they tested the Alternator (car engine running), they did not test the battery separately.they told me the battery is good and the Alternator is bad, they wanted to charge 50$ for testing the Battery I bought from them (it took them 3 minutes to do the test.), they proposed me to replace the alternator.

I went to EDMONDS STARTERs shop specialized in Alternators, he tested the Alternator and showed me by proof that it is working good. I still have the Photo on my phone.

I was pretty sure it was not the alternator, I went to Canadian Tire and bought a new battery, they installed it and ALL IS GOOD.

I have been driving my car with no issues.

Decker's guys told me that it is the Alternator because they did not want to install a new battery (they battery I bought from them is still under warranty.)

I have all the proofs and receipts of battery I bought from Deckers and the one I bought from Canadian Tire.

I will do all what needed to get my refund of the battery I bought from Deckers.

I advise them, when it comes to testing batteries, to test the battery separately.

Oh I forgot to mention, when they replaced the battery first time, they did not put back the original battery cover, I called them the following day and left a voice message about the cover, they did not get back to me.

I told him face to face about the original battery cover, he said I dont know.

Replaced battery at Deckers Burnaby
After 4 months battery died
They did not wanted to replace it even though it still in warranty 3 years
They said it is the alternator, it is not correct, it is wrong
I went to alternator specialist and tested it, they said it is working fine. I have a photo of voltage output

I will never go again to deckers Burnaby and dont recommend it at all

Very happy to say I have found a trusted mechanic! I had the compressor replaced in my 2011 Honda CRV. The price was reasonable and came in as quoted. But the service was above and beyond expectations! He noticed the baby seat in the car and went so far as cleaning the mats, whick was desperately needed and totally unexpected! If I need any repairs in the future, Deckers will definitely be my go to mechanic!

I appreciate the service here and attention to detail whenever I need auto maintenance and servicing. The owner and staff are great, very helpful and don’t hesitate to explain and answer questions. Best mechanic EVER! The team at Decker's is so kind and honest. Wayne recommended some cars for us to check out when we were searching for a new vehicle, and then he gave us a pre-purchase inspection. When we were waiting for our car to be ready, another customer who came in stopped to chat with us about how amazing Decker's is. The service at Decker's is friendly and trustworthy, and we are so thrilled to have a place we can count on!

These guys took the time to evaluate my vehicle at no charge and were honest with me that it wasn't worth the cost of the repairs. They turned down business in order to steer me in the right direction and it is really appreciated! I'll be a customer for sure when I get a new vehicle!

I called out of the blue for an oil change and he told me to come right in and did the oil change on the spot! Couldn't be happier, excellent service.

I took a car for a pre-purchase inspection here. I wish they had told me on the phone at the time I booked the appointment that they cannot read error codes of the car I wanted inspected. The actual inspection lasted less than 20 minutes, and didn't seemed very detailed nor any printed report was given to me. May be my expectations were too high due to my past experience with pre-purchase inspection at other places.

They went above and beyond with the repair. Would highly recommend this shop. Thank you team Decker!

We showed up first thing Saturday morning with our flashing checked engine light. They plugged in to get the code, told us it was a fuel injector issue, said they most likely wouldn't get to it that day, recommended a shop down the road with helpful advice on the potential quote. Very honest and thoughtful. We will be back! The shop down the road got us back on the road ASAP.

Couldn’t ask for nicer people, better service, and a great price. I’ll be coming to Deckers for all my car needs. No cap!
