Nice little cafe with good coffee and breakfast. The grocery store is perfect for local items and small grocery runs. It is such a nice staple to have in the community.

Good selection of specialty items. Good food. Line can be long. Lovely garden around back with shaded picnic tales. Bathroom available in store.

Just stopped out of convince, but will be back! Very good drinks and food. Cool atmosphere and nice little garden out back:)

I ordered the beef dip on special. I have to admit I was expecting better based on reviews. A few slices of cold roast beef with cheese and a few onions. The bun was okay as was the au jus but the bun did not hold well to being dipped. Because the sandwich was cold, the overall effect was a cold, soggy sandwich that was a little bland. I have gotten the beef dips and Starke's Deli in Sidney and they are infinitely better.

Used to look forward to stopping here for my weekly Wednesday lunch, but with the recent change in ownership not so much, to be honest I think today will be my last. Quality as well as service have both declined.
Edit: In reply to owners response, I never stated the staff was unfriendly, I said the quality of the ingredients has dropped and I questioned the competence of the people you have making the sandwiches. On one occasion I opened my clubhouse to find a bacon and lettuce sandwich waiting for me. I should have stopped giving you another chance that day, so no I doubt I'll bother taking another chance.

Cute little market with a bit of everything. It's great they are very local neighborhood oriented. Loved the outside mural with post about incoming Community events. Very recommended.

I went in there today.one sausage roll $4.25. Person behind the till snapped at me and was rude. I think its interesting and they are usually polite but im not sure if i need this. I have been coming to this location since 1984.will go elsewhere next time

Great little General Store that serves hot food. Order any hot items first get the ticket then pay for them

This such a wonderful and eclectic store. Small yet so many little treasures and tasty temptations.from the necessities like milk and bread to peach and Prosecco jam. I love this place! Need a nice warm day to have a coffee and treat in the back garden area.spring is coming!

Visited here whilst our car was in being serviced at Deep Cove Garage. The Market is a lovely little place with home baking and decent coffee. Customer queue though is back to front and you find yourself having to excuse yourself to get back past the other customers? My only other gripe is the Limited seating outside. I know we need to consider Covid measurements.but I think another picnic bench or 2 would be great.

Deep Cove Market is a neighborhood miracle! Good coffee beans, proper batch brew and espresso. Lots of local brands to support. What a special place I've found all the way out here.:)

Just went today, and it was my first time here in over 5 years and was super impressed with the quality/local product available. Walked in thinking I was going to just get a drink and a goodie and walked out with much much more than that.
Everything has been tasty and looking forward to making it a part of my places to shop! (Even though I live in langford it's still worth it!)

Best little market anywhere. Delicious baked goods and takeout sandwiches and burgers. Lovely garden with tables and umbrellas for a picnic.

Can't say enough about it. How many corner stores have a fantastic deli, upscale market items, a place to hitch your horse, a dedication to community and have catered to royalty? The best (and only) place in Deep Cove to go for a snack, a great destination for a bike ride and the only place on the peninsula that sells two types of truffle oil) Plus, I think Rosemary has employed half of the community's high school kids - so thankful!

We were given a gift certificate to Deep Cove Market by the AirBnb we were staying at and were told it was the best place for breakfast - they were right! Delicious breakfast sandwich and BLT, the most amazing coffee I got the whole week and fresh local strawberries were on sale! Great stop for snacks, produce, souvenir and of course coffee - I bought two bags!

Have a cup of coffee and one of their excellent sandwiches and relax in their beautiful back yard on a sunny day and you will feel very happy!

Like seriously no joke I visited victoria today that deep cove market its soo good i went on a business trip and I'm telling you deep cove market has the best sandwiches warm welcoming staff and the shop set up is amazing! 100 % great place

Great food and convenient. Lots of unique items to browse through while you wait for your food to be prepared. Great local farm produce and meat products available along with local art.

This is a gem of a stop on the peninsula. Their deli/cafe has some of the best breakfast bagels and sandwiches I have had on the island, their coffee is excellent and their store offers an awesome selection of interesting local options ranging from dried goods to frozen meat. It's basically a mini grocery store that deliver Slovak wares as well as commercial options. Seasonal locally made goods will often be available as well. Due to COVID, food has to be taken out only, no more sitting inside, but their back garden, where multiple picnic tables and chairs are located, is open and available to use if you want to eat on site. I highly recommend checking out this spot, it's definitely worth the detour.

First time here and have never felt more unwelcome or like a burden by asking simple questions like: can I get a coffee or where do I pay. Nobody would tell me where to go, the place is like walking into grandmas house who happens to hoard food. I ended up getting my coffee which tasted pretty good but was filled with grounds. Will never come back here again

A nice little market which has most things you could want. It is a bit cramped which is interesting in COVID but they are careful.

Cute little local market full of lots of unique and local products. Good selection of gluten free goods as well.

Very poor. No distancing. No masks with staff nor most customers! Very old archaic system of ordering at one side of this cramped space and then going across the same cramped space to pay and then come back to get what you ordered. The very worst setup I have ever seen. No attempts it seems to limit customers nor streamline the way to order. POOR!

Absolutely love this store, they have an amazing selection of both local and imported goods and the best breakfast bagel around. The cashiers are always friendly and welcoming

What a fantastic little store. They have a little cafe with burgers and other fare. The seating area outside is sunny and inviting. They have quite the collection of imported candy as well. Artistic fare to be purchased as well.

I've only been once, but I liked most everything about it. It's a small grocery store with a kitchen. I ordered a sandwich, which was outstanding. It's similar to the Red Barn Market, but with better bread.

First venture out after Covid restrictions were eased. Limited bodies in the store and gloves at the entrance, we had a very satisfying ice cream cone. Sitting in the roomy back garden just made the visit perfect. Lots of locals coming and going and we're all glad to be back - carefully.

Great store close to home. Food is always great. One thing that would be nice is an order and pickup window to keep congestion down in the store. Keep up the good work!

Always a great place to stop, but I was concerned with the new protocols for COVID-19. Shoppers are required to put on surgical gloves (which are provided) before entering. Fine, but what a tremendous waste of much needed PPE when hand sani and a suggestion to wear a mask (or providing cloth masks) would be better. There were no arrows or social distancing guides in the floor and nothing to indicate where and how you line up for the cash, which is really important due to the maze-like layout of the site.

Amazing little artisan market & deli, so many quality food and drink selections, plus their deli is seriously incredible, best sandwiches EVER!

Been coming here since I was swaddled. It's the market, the trading post, the corner store. A hallmark of North Saanich. All it needs to do is stay the same.

Such a great little store, lots of choices for gluten free items, great decorations and a wonderful coffee and sandwhich bar.

I once bought $15 worth of double bubble from here and let me tell you it was not worth it.however they make wonderful fresh daily sandwiches here, that they didn't when I was 14 and they are really good and not 15 dollars, they also have a wide variety of food and local products to look through, I'd call it the craft collective of spices and jarred goods, topped off with your traditional corner store vibes. Staff are always helpful and smiling from ear to ear, stop in grab a sandwich you wont regret it.

Outstanding high end supermarket in the tiny hamlet of Deep Cove. It's a foodies delight with an eclectic mix food and spices and cook books from around the world sitting right next to the local grow food and produce. They also have a little kitchen that cooks up some amazing food to take out out eat right on the porch. Icecream bar in the back and lots of little hidden nooks full of crafty and foodie surprises

Great stop for anything you might need, or not! Quirky items beside fresh, local veggies beside yummy looking baked goods! I need to go back soon!
