Deer Lake Boat Rentals

Horrible service, very unprofessional staff.
Went there at 6: 01 and they said they close rental at 6: 00. Online it said they close at 7pm. I told them I would be back before 7 which is when they close. They made me wait for 15 minutes only to tell me no.

Do not go here.
Literally ruined my whole day.

Great to bring small kids or out of towners. They're super chill, theyll let you rent by the half-hour, and the area is beautiful and safe.

It was great. However some rowing boats have one of their oars connections are a bit broken which makes rowing a bit hard. I still loved it as well as my little daughter.

This modest park is a beautiful place to just relax. In addition to the benches and picnicking areas there is a trail which will take you around the entire lake. You can also rent boats to enjoy some time with family and friends on the water. Ample parking is available as are public restrooms.

We didn't have time to get to the boat rentals but they had ample boats available and lots of friendly staff there to assist. Those that did rent seemed to have a good time.

Fantastic service, handled our registration and launch very professionally. Had a fabulous time out on the water!

Its a quite little lake.but, still good to have some water fun activities. So, if you have not paddle board or kayak.you still go rent and have fun.staff are good behaved and acting responsible and nice.also pricing is good tho in in comporison with Rocky point rental kayak.

Prices are reasonable. Staff are nice enough. Not too long of a wait. What could you ask for more from a boat rental in a city park?

It’s a fun environment and run quite well. I enjoy paddling, you can have your own paddle boards or kayak or you can rent it, it’s small lake if you are beginners it’s one of the best lake you can start.

Has kayaks, canoes, paddleboats. A little something for everyone! Staff is very helpful. Great way to spend an afternoon. Rates are very reasonable.

Great place to spend a fun and relaxing time with family and friends. There are different boats to choose from. The crew is so helpful and friendly. They’ll help you by providing instructions, assist you to get on and off the boat and Answer Que’s you may have.

It's a very quiet and pleasant place to be. It has a nice walking track and at the same time, wow! U tired while walking u can stop and chill for a few minutes nice for the elderly.

It's nice place for the kids it has swings, birds and their sweet ones to watch

There can be a lineup on a sunny day. The staff that help you to get on a boat can take awhile before they can get to you. Nothing that cannot be fixed by getting more staff on duty.

I’ve tried kayaking for the first time with them, the staff are very friendly and patient. You are wonderful

I came here with a group of 4 to try paddle boating. It was fun going forward, but once we were going the opposite direction of the current, it made it hard to paddle back. The lake water is kind of dirty, so its best not to touch it.

This is my favorite walk close to home. A quick loop around the lake can take as little time as 40 minutes leaving you feeling refreshed. There are trails through the forest, also a set of 400 + stairs for a cardio workout if thats your goal. The walk around the lake is on packed dirt and wooden built trails. The walk is about 45 minutes and fills your senses with bird noises.the smell of the trees and greenery or flowers if you decide to stop at the flower garden, and beautiful views of trees, trails and water. A must walk ‍️

Needed my boat repaired over the weekend sometime during the summer and these guys helped me promptly with a rental boat AND awesome service. I was able to make my trip due to these guys

A great place for a stroll the trail goes all around the lake and also you can rents kayaks and head out on the lake.

More like Deer Lake Rent a canoe and have the ultimate relationship test! Beautiful day and good options for going out on the water; kayaking, paddle boats, canoes, and rowboats. CAUTION if you are going out on a 2 person canoe with your partner for the first time, your relationship *will* be tested! Luckily we passed the test and overall had a lovely (although a little stressful) time

It's great fun and relaxing to be out on the water. The paddleboats are easy to use. An attendant patrols the lake in a motorboat ready to respond to any emergencies.

Great place if you want to try kayaking for the first time! Very friendly staff and if you are new to kayaking they will give you a run down on basics. Enjoy!

Great place to spend a couple hours on the lake. They have a good selection of kayaks, canoes, rowboats, and paddle boats.

They have all types of canoes, kayaks, row boats and pedal boats.

The hourly rates are decent. I've rented from them on a daily rate and taken it to Pitt Lake because it's cheaper here. Also worth checking Groupon or other deal sites, they often have deals there.

It's best to call ahead for a reservation.
