These people are SO amazing! I came through last night and couldn't get through the snow in the pass.it was late, me, my son and my grandson were tired after driving from Cranbrook. These wonderful people left a room open with the key inside and said pay them in the morning.we came down that hill at maybe 30 kmh with our hazards on and a very scared 5 yo in the back seat. We got there and as soon as my grandson walked in he forgot all about being scared.he exclaimed "this is REALLY nice! " Truly a godsend!

My employee was working in the area and we rented a room for a month. My employee had numerous problems in the room and could not get help to remedy anything but when he turned on a light while in bed to see what was making noise in his room, a rat scurried down a hole in the room. He packed up and left immediately. The owner and manager accused my employee of making this up. After exhaustive attempts to get a refund for the stay the owner kept over half of the money for a months stay for 4 days in his motel. I do not reccommend this place.

This place was beautiful and very well priced and the gentelman was very helpful when we where in a need of a place to lay our heads for a night.

Friendly owners, but our unit could use updating and the AC was really noisy. They know about it and say the new one is “on order”.

Faizal went out of his way to help out me and my family to get set up for a night when we were stranded on the highway, he a true good Samaritan. The whole staff there is amazing and genuinely good people who represent the town of Princeton perfectly. I can never thank them enough for all they did for us when they didn't have to. I will be staying there for all my future trips. Thank you guys!

It’s a cute old highwayside motel. It’s clean and comfortable and the owners are helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay.

Awesome place to stay - basic motor inn and lodge like back in the day and it's really all you need. Room was clean and well-organized and when the front desk learned we had a 4-year-old with us, we were able to get a room with another bed. I would stay here again any time.

Increased prices threefold after the flooding in Princeton left many people homeless. Monthly rates went from 900/month to 2700/month, trying to capitalize after a major natural disaster. Would never recommend anyone stay here.

I travel over 300 days a year for work and when I’m commuting to and from wherever I need to be I always try to stay in motels where I can drive up to the door. My expectations aren’t usually high and I’m very low-maintenance. This afternoon I checked into
The Deerview Lodge and was pleasantly surprised. Spotlessly clean and (I’m assuming) recently renovated. Beautiful room!
I’ll be back for sure. The family who own the motel are super friendly and obviously love their place, and it shows.

I'll give this badboy a 3 star.
If you're a dude traveling for work there's not much more you need and this place works just fine. The showers have good water pressure.
If you're in a new relationship and this is your first trip together.dude, spend some extra money and don't bring her here. There is no hair dryer in the rooms.
I would stay again if it's just me, I would not if I was the wife and kids.

The building is getting old, so don't expect anything fancy, but the owners are working with what they have to keep the guests happy. The room was a good size, and the owner was very accommodating when my family was stranded there by mudslides. He made sure we all had beds to sleep in for a very reasonable price.

Do not stay here unless you absolutely MUST! Units, or at least the one I stayed in, smell musty like after years of being smoked in, have little to no heat, doors do not seal, dead bolt does not work, and it takes 20 minutes to get hot water. I have to run the sink water long enough to get enough hot water to have a shower. And in the shower, TINY, and scared of skipping on the sloped floor!

I thought I picked a value place to stay based on ratings I found online. They are wrong! I hope this review helps someone else.

Again, don't stay here. Not nearly worth the $750 weekly rate. Spend the extra little bit and go somewhere else.

The one star i gave reflects the management's genuine offers to help in any way, however my schedule didnt lend well to this offer.

I booked a room and made a down payment. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to push the date forward a couple of times. In the end I had to cancel. He dealt with the whole situation very professionally and we were returned part of the downpayment.

Stayed here and now my daughter had bed bug bites all over her back and shoulders. Please dont stay here, disgusting service and atmosphere.

The deerview lodge is a nice place to stay, people that live here as well as various guest are generally nice and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We stayed for a week while we were waiting to close on our house. Unfortunately, it wasn't a vacation as we both had to work during that week, but the place was quiet enough to allow us both to work all day and the internet was reliable - important because I'm an online professor and my wife is online tech support.

The room itself was large and well-appointed. A nice full kitchen with a few dishes. (If you're staying long term, bring your own.)

Raymond and Andrea were super-nice and friendly. Most of the neighbors were really nice. A couple not so much, but you can't blame the lodge owners for that - a lot of different personalities in a small space - that will happen anywhere you go.

Literally the only thing I would change would be to add screens to the window and fix the front window in the room we were staying in so it could open. There were some amazing mountain breezes in the mornings and we would love to have taken advantage of them.

Overall, if you're looking for a large room with a kitchen and really friendly owners for a good price, check them out. We will definitely have friends and family stay here when they come to visit.

Our stay was good. It lived up to its name. We saw 5 deer in the morning. The cabin is not fancy shmancy but its clean, warm, comfortable and ample space. The staff was friendly, helpful.

I had a great month stay here with a fair monthly rate for a full kitchen that included cookware, plates, and cutlery. I noticed very friendly people were staying here during my visit and the same goes to the residents of Princeton. They even invited me and all their renting guests to a delicious turkey Thanksgiving Dinner. All in all - great value for a clean modern room.
