Dek Rail

Has me fill out a order form then deny the sale because its less than 55 feet. What a waste of my time.

I've used Dek Rail several times, both for my own homes and for clients (architecture and design). The interactions with Tyler and the resulting products have always been top-notch. The systems are solid, attractive, and durable. Installation instructions are clear and precise, and if there are any questions, Tyler's responsiveness is pretty dang close to immediate. I couldn't recommend Dek Rail more highly. I will definitely work with them again and I'm looking forward to it!

I am a general contractor and have installed numerous decks, stairs and railings in wood, but had never installed a metal balustrade. After much research, my client selected the Dek Rail system. Although the Dek Rail website has videos on every aspect of installing the system, they focus mainly on a face mounted post installation. I not only was going to do a deck mount installation, but also had a two-direction sloped deck. Tyler of Dek Rail fielded multiple emails and phone conversations with me to make sure that I understood the installation system. In the end, the project came out fantastic. The balustrade looks great, the lighting kit casts great ambient light and the client could not be happier. Too often you get a project in a box that comes with poorly translated instructions and a hopeless technical support line. That is not the case with Dek Rail. I recently installed over 100’ of RD5 railing from DekRail. The railing arrived well packed. Installation went smoothly, thanks to the thoughtfully engineered RD5 modular design, good manufacturing and excellent online support from Tyler. Videos were very informative and watching them was the first thing I did. In all instances when I had questions, Tyler’s response fully addressing my questions arrived shortly after. I gave DEK Rail 5 stars, it should have been 10. After searching the internet for quite some time for a privacy screens and ideas to block the wind around our swim spa and hot tub. I decided to contact DEK RAIL. What a pleasant surprise to find a company that was very professional and responsive to any and all questions I had. I did have some concerns about working with a Canadian company and shipping our order across the border, but Tyler eased our concerns and everything arrived as promised. Family, Friends, and Neighbors have all commented on how great the fence turned out. I opted to have top rail lights and what a difference they make. Completely hidden but they will give you excellent light during the evening hours. I put the power supply on a remote so with a touch of a button the atmosphere changes. Give Tyler a call or text and you will be surprised with their service and products that DEK RAIL has to offer. I did this as a DIY project with some help setting the posts in concrete and putting in an apron around the perimeter and under the rails and posts.

I recently (July 2020) contracted with DEK Rail to install new railings on my deck and new stair railings on my front steps. DEK Rail had been recommended by a friend who had used DEK Rail before and the whole project worked out great with very good service, design suggestions, professional install and a truly superior product. I replaced a wood railing system (that was starting to rot) with an all aluminum railing system that looks ten times better than my wood railing, needs no maintenance and won't rot. The unique system that DEK Rail uses hides all brackets and mounting screws and leaves you with a clean high end finished rail system. I highly recommend DEK Rail.

A great experience from beginning to end. The technical support from Tyler and Allan was second to none. Alway responsive and helpful with regards to a very complicated build in Northern Ontario. Great quality and fit that has served to enhance the overall look of our build. A fantastic "made in Canada solution" to our project.
