Delhi-6 Indian Bistro

A big thanks to Devki for organising such a lovely lunch for us on a short notice. The ambiance was fantastic and the food was delicious. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

We were a large group so we kept our order mostly to the common dishes that you find in most Indian restaurants, but all dishes were great! We tried the goat curry which was surprisingly good, and they have quite a few unusual dishes that I will be back to try.

We always go there when we want to eat Indian food, the food is delicious, the service is amazing, we always go there in the evenings. The staff is friendly and charming. I recommend everyone to go there.

Our group of five had a wonderful experience tonight for a celebratory dinner. Service was exceptional (from both our servers and even the person who made the drinks came around and checked), atmosphere was relaxed on a Monday night which was perfect and we got one of the nice cosy round tall booths, food was delicious. Tandoori cauliflower, goat curry, butter chicken, veggie korma, chicken biryani, pappadoms, garlic naan, basmati rice, raita, mint and tamarind chutneys were all very good. Lots of flavour everywhere. Impressed that the goat curry was surprisingly tender. Vegetables in korma were not mushy and sauce was good. Presentation was all very nice. Some of our group were concerned about the spice level beforehand, and they asked us what we wanted before we even said anything, and the mild level was still very tasty (but still a good amount of spice for "mild". Lots of dishes to choose from on the menu. I'm not vegetarian, but there are plenty of interesting veggie choices if you are. And the drink selection was fantastic with unique drinks. My black magic had a fancy presentation but it still tasted very balanced and nice! There were many little service details that made it a wonderful place to bring other people - they were so nice about all requests and our server was even taking multiple photos for us kindly and made us feel so welcome, things like splitting the bill were so easy. I'll definitely be back with other groups and they even have a "Ladies Night" special on Tuesday these days that I want to check out. The room is nice enough for a nice group dinner but also comfortable enough for more casual nights. Portions were good and prices felt very reasonable for the level/area of the restaurant (service, decor, neighbourhood). Street parking at meters was easy.

Wonderful upscale restaurant with exceptional service by Iqbal, The dum biryani was flavorful and the kabab platter was tasty as well. Highly recommend!

Quality, taste and even levels of hygiene in the kitchen has gone down terribly, even though prices have shot up. I was a loyal customer but not anymore. Restaurants are using the excuse of “inflation” to sell horrible food and equally horrible customer service at exorbitant prices. Stay away from Delhi 6, much better Indian options in the city.

Being south Asian, I am always critical of indian restaurants but this one I would definitely recommend. Drinks were excellent, food was awesome. We ordered the briyani and it came out like we had it in India!

It would have been helpful if you let us know that rice was not included with any dish. To be honest for the price paid I do not think this is good value for money and would not recommend this place. Portions were scant and overpriced.

We’ve now ate here twice and both times the food was delicious with good portions! We’ve tried the tikka masala butter chicken and well as the lamb korma and both were fantastic. And the service is always great!

Nice Indian dinner experience. It is not the most authentic Indian food but it is a nice modern twist to the traditional dishes.

I got one appetizer to go.everything was super great and I was treated with lots of respect when I went in to pick it up.

The place itself is fancy and neat, and gives off a chill vibe. The food is wonderful, and tastes great; the food is worth buying. I recommend coming here for quiet and peaceful lunches/dinners.

Outstanding dining experience at Delhi-6 Restaurant. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, and everything we tried was simply delicious. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!

We decided to go to Delhi-6 Indian Bistro because our usual Indian restaurant was closed. We got there at 7pm and they said they were full.but was able to accommodate our party of 8 as long has we finish eating within an hour. In the middle of our meal, when we mentioned how much more time we have, the server said that the party of 26 cancelled their reservation the last minute.

Their masala chai was ok. Their vegetarian dishes were good but definitely quite heavy. The naan - not recommended. The server put a mango chutney and another condiment on our table; we didn't order this - we thought it came with our orders. When we were paying, she charged us $3.50 each for it.

Will I come back to the restaurant? Hmmmm.probably not.

Delhi 6 is a good place to enjoy your food with quality service. 10/10 to neha who provided us great customer service. Food came quick. Quality and quantity were maintained. Food is expensive but its worth it. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

They arranged the tables in a square so that our group of 10 could have conversations with each other instead of the typical sitting in a long table and fragmented groups. The service was quick and polite and the food is authentic! Highly recommend!

First time to Vancouver and this was our first stop. Loved the food and the quality if the service. Must try naan, bhindi masala and paneer butter masala.
