Delicious Pho

Yes.good food but. Now prices are ridiculous. Salad rolls were $3 now they are $8. Wow. A bituch same as veggie pho went up $3.5.very sad it's gone up so much in pricing.

I really liked this place and still kind of my favorite place. However when I got the menu today I was so surprised by the price.
My favorite menu #61 was increased by $7 from last year. It was less than $19 but now it's $26!
So I had to downgrade to order #59 instead.

For this reason I give you one star!

Restaurants 58 of a life long pursuit of culinary excellence has lead me to Vancouver. Ambiance and anesthetics is not a part of the equation. They appear to do fairly good amount of business. Service is okay. Now, the reason why we're here the food. I ordered the beef and brisket and the grilled chicken with a lychee beverage. The food was tasty, the portions were very generous and affordable. I personally probably won't be back but they do a decent job with the menu. If you're ever in the area stop by, it's worth a peek

Big servings, tasty food, and reasonably priced. I always get beef stew if I see it in any menu and this restaurant has the best one by far. The broth is flavourful and it has so much meat in it compared to the other places who are very stingy. You get way more than you pay for in my opinion.

I recommend getting their egg noodle beef stew over the rice noodle. But both are tasty. I also recommend trying their meat skewers and vermicelli rolls. They’re not expensive and honestly just so worth it.

Their portions are huge. I always get their small size and I always end up bringing leftovers because of how big it is. Add an extra $1 and you can get the large size if you know you can finish it or are ready to bring home some leftovers.

Their staff are also friendly and efficient. Don’t expect high end service though. It’s the type of place where you go because you know you’ll get good food and nice service.

I just visited Vancouver, so I was so existed to find a Vietnamese restaurant which close to my hotel. The price just cheaper compare with other on the same street but the meat is not fresh as the others said. I will not go back there again.

My favourite neighbourhood vietnamese resto! My go to meal is the grilled chicken and sometimes will get the pork patties as well - delicious!

3 stars because I had an excellent experience mid week with great staff and food. But when I returned on the weekend the staff were apathetic and rude. Mostly on their phones and actively eating behind the counter without washing their hands. An elderly veteran placed a take out order and he asked if they would bring it to him in his car (parked right out front) when it was ready. I watched as they just left the bag there when it was ready and went back to playing on their phones. I delivered it to him and could see he was physically challenged and he cried as I passed him his food and thanked me. When I got my food the sauce that was to come with it was ridiculous. 1/4 of a tiny container. When I asked for more they rolled their eyes. It was literally a waste of a plastic container. The only merit to this business on weekends is the kitchen staff. My food was pretty good. I will return but never on a weekend again. So, in full, this place sucks in weekends.

Great food, classic Pho taste. Good service, and decent COVID-19 Protocol. No barriers in between tables, but the tables are wiped and cleaned with alcohol (as far as I have been able to tell), and utensils are given to the customer in enclosed plastic wraps. Good location!

Decent Pho, but if getting for pick up or delivery these guys will forget to either give you food, or expired drinks, or forget what's asked in the notes, or forget to give utencils.

The Chicken Banh Mi I got was delicious. Fresh vegetables, great sauce on the chicken, and the sandwich had a good crisp. Excellent size and flavour for the price of $7

I tried the vegetarian Pho. There was no flavour in the broth. Tasted just like tap water. Will not be returning.

Food was flavourless and plain. The vegetables in the pho were very hard, almost as if they added them to the dish as an after thought. The ambiance of the place was lacking, felt a bit clinical. The spring rolls were good though.

Really good pho for the price. The broth was really good, altho the noodles tbh were not great. But the staff is friendly and a good place to go for lunch near the library.

Terrible pho experience with raw beef that I couldn't bite through and 1 block of uncooked noodles that wasn't just firm but actually bordering on a hard texture

Ordered take out and specifically asked if there were 2 sets of utensils in the take out package. Staff said yes. I got to the park and lo and behold, no utensils. What do you do at the park with a bowl of pho without chopsticks and a spoon? ! Half the soup spilled into the plastic bag. I went back to grab utensils. By the time I got back to the park, my soup wasn't hot enough to cook the beef or separate the noodles.

Food was delicious and very quick. Spring rolls were exceptional. Will return for another dish. Very quiet and clean atmosphere.

I have been searching all over vancouver downtown for something even close to one of my favs joints on Main street, but only this place has won my heart. My 3rd time now and still amazing! Even takeout is fab, which is not easy to do. THANKS guys! Hope u dont ever leave my hood

It was the worst food i have ever had in my life, so messy, the soup was poured in the plastic and the other food was so cold, the noodles were sticked together and the chicken was uncooked! I called them to ask about, but offered me a FREE SOUP for the next time! I think its better they save the price if the FREE SOUP to have more quality in the future! I highly not recommend this restaurant at all!

Decent food, below average service

Pros: Pretty decent food given its low price
Cons: The service was really bad sometimes, instead of serving sth, it’s more like “throwing” you some food. Not the right place to tip generously (or even tip sometimes depend on your server)

Our first experience and it was a good one. Always busy here. You have to pick and choose your time. Enjoyed our selections. Food was good, staff friendly. Will definately return!

Mediocre pho. Shrimp appetizer soggy and soaked in oil. Ought to be dry and crispy just like the photo on menu.

Just picked up a simple take out order: 2 spring rolls, 1 large pho. Paid for 2 spring rolls, only received 1.

Generous 3 because of location. Beyond that I'll keep it short by saying you can find better pho all across lower mainland.

I don’t like your servers. She’s so rude. We have 6 people and order 2 food first because we were discussing but she’s so aggressive and refuse my order. I don’t want to pay tip but finally she included tip with the food.

This is a simple, no frills restaurant with prompt service and a very good selection of Vietnamese soups and noodle bowls! Very reasonable and very good.

Clean flavourful broth; Healthy portion of fresh broccoli, bok choi, and carrots that were not over cooked. It also came with lots of big cubes of fried tofu. Probably the best veggie pho I’ve had.

Good price for so much food. Plates are large, staff could be a little more attentive. Was in and out in less than 40 minutes. Food seems to be pre-cooked and kept hot to cut down on waiting time. The meats are of low quality, so don't expect much. Worth a try for sure.

With busy schedules and work, it's hard to plan an outing with my co-worker friend but we finally made it happen. We got in on a Wednesday at around 3: 00 PM with just a few patrons at tables going. Upon sitting down we both promptly ordered Pho. The basil that came with the bean sprouts had something that resembled a nose booger. It was dead wilting lettuce crumpled up. Bad start already. Getting thirsty halfway through the meal, my friend had to hunt someone down for water because none was given to us.

My co-worker friend got me a glass too but I never touched the water as I just drank the soup. Just before we were about to leave, I turned around and said we should go try "Marutama Ramen" across the street when we get a chance again. That gave enough light to shine through for him to notice my water was oily, pretty gross. I inspected it closer to find out it wasn't oil, as oil is round when floating. These were squares and diamonds. The water was dusty! *barf*

Good price for standard pho. There was a hidden catch long ago. About 3 years ago they offered 10% discount for people working nearby for lunch. Don't know they still have that but with already cheap price it became beyond priceless.

Ordered large pho with steak, tendon, and tripe. Fair amount of steak, but only three pieces of small tendon and had to strain my soup to get at the few strands of tripe.

I had a terrible experience. When we sat down at our table, a rude server didn't say a word and used fingers to move to different table.
We decided to leave the restaurant and the server just laughed at us. What a bad experience. Never going again

When traveling with my parents in Vancouver, I stopped by this restaurant last weekend. The restaurant is very crowded at dinner time, their meals are huge and more affordable than other restaurants in downtown. The thing is about serving is that quick-service surprises you and they have an enthusiastic left-handed tattoo staff. I ordered a hot cup of coffee and didn't know what to do, he showed me how to make coffee very dedicated and thoughtful, and asked if the water was hot and how was the coffee. I would recommend hot coffee, you can enjoy the feeling of making a cup of coffee and experience the taste by yourself. Definitely come back for the coffee.

Really low key and unassuming restaurant, but the pho is indeed delicious. It's lacking nothing, the spicy options taste great too. Great for a quick sit down meal, and less expensive than most other choices in the area.

Worst bowl of Pho, or even soup, that we have ever had in our lives. Poor service. They didnt ask how it was.they didnt refill our water (that was warm and glass was dirty). Could smell sanitizer on chop sticks. Smelled like my great grandmas house. Meat balls were gross. Soup was flavorless. If I could rate -5 stars I would because it was that bad. Dont go here.

I come here literally once a week, always ordering the vermicelli beef bowl with an iced coffee. Simple, healthy and perfectly delicious.

Not my first time here. Was amazing today - but sometimes it is hit and miss. Pretty good for a pho place in central dt location.

A descent Pho place downtown. I used to eat here a lot until i moved to a new office and now I rarely get the chance to go in this area of town. I wnet here just recently and the the service and food as still remained the same except for the serving portions that may look to me has gone smaller. Still a good place to eat easy no fuss, cheap meals for lunch or even dinner.

Nice place with lots of pho options. Generous portions at reasonable prices. The place can use a bit of tidiness and more comfortable chairs.
