Today I had the pleasure of Aafreen's services. She's engaging, polite, and very professional! I brought my young granddaughter for a wash and trim, she was nervous and hesitant having her hair done. I must say both Aafreen and Sarah from the front desk were absolutely caring and thoughtful.
Sarah went above and beyond. When the cut was finished she had a very special unicorn donut waiting as a.way to go, you did it treat!
This really made the experience extra special!

I went to Denise Elliott for my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot and for my wedding. Their team did an amazing job! I loved my look. They really listened to what I wanted and were flexible in making adjustments between my hair and makeup trial and the wedding day. Everyone was lovely and made me feel super comfortable. Booking and communication was simple and easy. My mom and my officiant got their hair and makeup done on my wedding day as well and were super happy with it. Special shoutout to Sarah for accommodating a makeup trial for my mom on the week of. Would definitely recommend!

This was a birthday gift and we booked a au naturel makeup group lesson. We had a great time!

I have always like to come to Denise Elliott Beauty, not only because of the effective Cezanne treatment but also the welcoming atmosphere. But today is different, it took the new hairstylist her name is Aafreen Gill she washed my hair very hard with very hot water and keep poking my hair scalp by her nail and she didn’t do it properly for me. I would rate a 5 star for the nice front desk, products, and other hair stylists. But the hair stylist this time is truly a 2 and I’m been generous.

Living on the North Shore for a little over a year now, I have gone to Denise Elliott for a number of services including makeup, hairstyling for a special event, haircut, and hair colouring. Every time, I have been impressed and satisfied with my experience. The staff are skilled and knowledgeable. You will always get an excellent salon experience here, while feeling relaxed and welcome.

Another great experience at Denise Elliott. Afreen has cut and styled my hair 4 times and I am always very pleased with the results.

Aafreen is one of the best stylists I’ve ever had, she saved my Hagrid looking hair and made me feel beautiful again! I can’t recommend this place enough, one of the best on the north shore!

Today I went here for an haircut for the first time. Although I called in late yesterday, still they were happy to fit me in for Sunday morning. Ohh boy! I am pleasantly surprised and impressed. Love my haircut, huge shout out to hairstylist Aafreen!? She did an amazing job given my hair is thick and difficult to style. And she is such a sweet and pleasant person. Lien and Charlene were so fun to spend the morning with and made all six of us feel and look so pretty for the day. I used Denise Elliott as the hair and makeup team for my wedding. Denise and Jessica did our makeup, while Emma and Shabnam did our hair. All four were delightful to work with and made my bridesmaids feel very comfortable. They arrived right on time, set up quickly, and we managed to get finished ahead of schedule which was great! Everyone’s makeup and hair turned out beautifully - even better than expected, and they were very willing to make small adjustments according to personal preference. I would not hesitate to recommend them for anyone’s wedding, and would certainly choose them again for future events.

I'm not one to wear make-up every day, but wanted to learn how to get a natural coffee-date look. I was shown what to do from beginning to end and given an opportunity to practice on myself. There was NO PRESSURE to buy anything! In the end I felt confident and well prepared.

I come back there definitely. They are professional and on time. I asked for natural makeup and she did the best. Everyone asked me where did you do your makeup in the event. Emily is the best.
Update:
I visited there for the second time today. The makeup was fantastic as my previous visit. But the updo was disaster. It fell apart the minute I sat in my car. Imagine, how it looked like after 2hr. My tiara was so loose and it dropped from my hair while we were still taking pic.
If I wanted to rate them based on the updo quality I would give 1. But their make up deserve 6 out of 5.

I got my hair trimmed at Denise Elliott Beauty Salon with Shabnam last week. I really enjoyed the warm atmosphere and welcoming staff. I definitely recommend this salon!

I had my hair and make-up done at Denise Elliot for my wedding. I could not have been more satisfied. The staff were professional and made me feel at complete ease (which can be difficult for a bride on her wedding day). My hair and make-up lasted easily through the day, even though it was an outdoor wedding in the rain and wind.

I had a wonderful experience with Chelsea! I was hesitant to go to a new hair stylist after a year of avoidance from a color/cut job gone wrong. BUT Chelsea was fantastic. She listened to what I said and reconfirmed what I wanted throughout the appointment to make sure I was getting what I envisioned. Also, I'm not the kind of person who likes to talk an entire 3 hour appointment either, and never did conversation feel forced or dry! She was engaged yet let me just enjoy the experience the perfect amount. She was extremely professional and I will be going back to see her again! Thank you Chelsea!

Dove is so talented! She has so much experience, keeps up to date on the latest styles and techniques, and uses the best products. She is a colour master and knows how to magically make your hair appear longer, fuller, thicker, and healthier even after lightning and cutting!
