Our server vanya was an absolute treat. She suggested the steak Benny and now that's one of my most favorite.
Glad to see experienced and well informed staff who make the dining experience great.

Shalini is a beautiful soul who helped with our sweet pancakes and she is a great hardworking girl and always wins my heart with her cute smile. I would love to visit again while she is in the Denny's.i loved her service personally and she is a problem solver and a fantastic server.

Yesterday, my daughter and I went to Denny's. The food was great. The service was excellent. Shalini always provides great customer service. She always gives special attention to my daughter. One of the reasons we are always there is to see Shalini. The picture posted is not from yesterday. It is just to show large portions. Love Denny's can't wait to go back for the food and to see Shalini.

Always good food and service here. The staff, especially Shalini, are very friendly and helpful. Very accommodating to her family's needs.

Since they took on the new owners the place is real good now and staff are helpful and prompt and the food is good

Dennys is always a pleasant experience and this location lived up to expectations. I was promptly seated and Raj was my server. His calm and collected demeanor was reassuring. I had the country fried steak with jasmine rice and corn. It was a late lunch and when my food arrived it was certainly a very good sized portion and arrived quickly. My intentions were to leave one piece for my wife, but no chance! It was too scrumptious to share and I just pluoughed through it! After a steaming cup of really decent coffee, I left satisfied and absolutely content. Greatly appreciate Raj, an excellent example of what a server should strive to be! Kudos to the whole team here.
Adding to this review since I now come once a week and have exactly the same thing; I must say it has remained absolutely consistent and the service even better. I last got served by Shalini who was extremely polite and pleasant and ever smiling. Humble, efficient and professional, it’s so nice to see such caliber of individuals at this location. My one tiny gripe is that the Senior specials entrees are served in smaller dinner plates, I wonder why. But the portion and the taste remained the same! So it’s all good!

Before the Pandemic the food quality started to depreciate. Since the pandemic its been difficult to enjoy, food is always cold in some bites not others, dry, toppings are very wilted and not great or balanced. In Burgers/Sandwiches the meats are great but the breads/rest are to be desired to the point of removing them. Its a shame that it started to decline after many years of quality and with the pandemic it just sealed the deal and I dont think I'll be visiting again even with the new menu items. The servers had a bad bit at the start of covid but they are always pleasant now and the best part.

Edit: they responded with a comment without even changing the premade (email) slot. Kinda sad actually.

Our first time trying this Denny's location and we were so impressed by the service, cleanliness, and yummy food. Thank you Gagan our lovely server for helping us patiently check in with our vaccine passports, suggesting meal options to get our pancakes, and being all round genuinely sweet. You made our day! We love this Denny’s! The hospitality and support from the server Paige are the best. Yesterday we had an extraordinary experience because of her energy and attentiveness. It’s hard to find places like that, with good comfort food, fair price and excellent service. Thanks Paige

Another customer hit our rental car and the manager did nothing to help said it would be disturbing the customer eho damaged it. We paid a 70 dollar bill there too.

Food is good and priced cheap. Order all the coffee and breakfast. The more you buy, the more value you get. This is not a place you take your girlfriend. Screaming kids everywhere. This place is perfect for truck drivers who are hung over from driving back in Toronto HQ and drunken real estate agents who listen to weird voice messages. This is where taxi drivers come to drink coffee and count their tips. Bank managers come here for whisky breaks to listen to their accountants screaming and raving about how the balance sheet won't balance.

Shalini was excellent. She was our server today very friendly and we will definitely come back.

The food in this denny's is delicious and the staff are very efficient and nice specially a lady named shalini over all 5/5.

We met for breakfast, celebrating my husband's birthday with some friends, Gargan was awesome set us in the meeting room. The restaurant was busy, services that Shalin provided us was awesome but one of my friend ordered poached eggs med to hard it came to the table too soft, Shalin ordered another one still wasn't done right my friend did not complain about it the 2nd time. We might have been there for awhile waiting to get the eggs rights. That's why i only gave 3 stars.oh Yes only one cup of my coffee was good the rest were too weak. Thank you for listening hope next time my coffee will be better.

Great staff! I ordered on skip the dishes, i called in to put some additions in the order, the lady on the phone was very sweet. Food came fresh and hot. Thank you all

The food was undercooked and gave me food poisoning. I will never be coming back. Not only did I get sick but so did my entire family. All I wanted to do was have a nice meal but that did not happen. I only ended up in the hospital.

Great experience at the Denny's on King George! Our server, Paige was friendly, efficient and just went above and beyond to ensure we were happy!

Server very slow, 10 minutes to bringing 2nd coffee, then dropped off bill and we never saw her again. Waited for over 5 minutes to pay. Thank goodness had cash. Won't be going back.

Nine of us where at Denny"s to celebrate Michael's birthday, We had the pleasure of having Page as our waitress! She is so pleasant, charming and truly managed to make all of us feel comfortable and relaxed! She is truly a 'tiara' lady! From all nine of us! Thank you Page!

Heartbreaking twice in three months. Service has gone down the lane.recently had a chance to pick my order.the person was not even wearing proper uniform.what else can we expect going down the drain.never will return.pathetic service.low quality oily food.things missing in the order

First off I’d like to mention ANY restaurant ANYWHERE can have its moments of bad service and overall experience. So all these Negative reviews could apply to The Keg or any Other too. We have been attending this King George location since it opened as the manager Zaid (Hope I got his name correct) had moved over from the Scott Rd. Location. (I will say the service has suffered since he is not working there due to medical issues) when we go we get to know the server and we usually try to stick with the same server when we return.
We have had a few “Regular” servers fir the Breakfast times and currently that server of choice is “Shalini”… we had stopped going due to this Covid mess during 2020… but have began going for Breakfast again on a more regular basis. Shalini will go out of her section to serve us when we ask for her by name.
She goes above and beyond to serve her regulars and I really appreciate that about her.
I think she has watched my family grow from 1 child to now 3… and so it shows how long we have been going here. For Context I will add today is Labour Day stat and we also came for Breakfast yesterday Sunday Sept 5th.
We were served by Shalini but she was very busy with her section but she came out of her section and getting coffee refill was an issue even after asking 2 others it was Shalini that finally made it happen. When I asked out loud a 3rd time. So YES Shalini is Great! But only Human after all. So… if you want to have a great Breakfast Experience. Ask for Shalini by name!

About half hour ago I decided to pay and leave, the experience was awful to put it lightly and it all stemmed from my order not being properly done. When I requested to know if my order included eggs (French toast grand slam) my waiter immediately replied with “I don’t know” to which I picked up the menu and showed him indeed my order was missing eggs, he scoffed and a server brought my eggs, the issue here is the attitude the waiter portrayed as the server was walking away, he was (server) told to take the other plate away I immediately said to leave it since the server would literally reach over me and my food to take away the mistake they brought, I was charged and paid gladly walked out and threw the food away, thank you so much Denny’s for hiring waiters who scoff and have attitude towards customers they deem deserving of such attitude and disrespect.

Food was great, same as other Denny's. Server was very attentive, but cleaned up our plates and coffee mugs right away, gave us the machine without us requesting. We felt being kicked out of the restaurant, not very impressed.

My wife and I arrived early before 2 other friends and was waited to seat comfortably. We asked for 2 glasses of water while we check out the menu and wait for others to arrive. As I was about to grab my drink, I saw some sticky grime on my glass of water. I checked out the other glass for my wife and it seems there were lip marks around the rim of her glass of water. I cannot imagine how they would hand to us a used glass of water in these times when people are overly careful of their hygiene and food safety. Staff was apologetic and courteous but too late for it anyway. It's quite disturbing to know how they handle their reusables (or if they even wash it). Food is average though.

Great little place and great food. And if you accidentally forget something there the night before they'll hold it for you so you can go back and get it love it

Worst location. Customer service is bad. Wesbite wasn't working so I called in and she straight up said "well we have other orders here so the website is working". I didn't call to argue about the error we kept receiving, I called to order. Now we are ordering from somewhere else.

*Edit in response to the owner: Your response is also not professional. The website wasn't working, it said "Invalid Cart" over and over in bright red. I called your customer service line and they were wonderful and actually admitted that Denny's is having technical issues with their cart (also see dozens of reviews on your app, same issue). So your website in fact does have issues and even your customer service department admitted it so I would do a more thorough check next time you want to try to discredit a customer's review.

Service is quick and efficient. Good portions. Always come for coffee fillers. Very attentive servers. Pricing is fair. **HAZARD** Watch out for the walking ramp next to the handicap spot. Walkway slopes to the side prematurely even though it's painted like it continues, and there's NO railing. My brother fell there and injured himself badly. Be careful.

Great service, great food, endless choices of menu items to pick from. They have a 55+ menu that offers a nice variety of smaller portions for a good price. I will be going back to this Dennys for sure

We visit this place yesterday for brunch, it was a great experience.our server was very nice, thankyou Denys for the best food and thankyou jaiskeerot for the great service. We will be back

Sausage was under cooked and raw in places hash browns were not cooked all the way thru pancakes were very heavy was not feeling well for 3 days due to under cooked food

The restaurant was empty but yet it took a long time for our food and then when we got ot it was all cold probably won't go back

Really like the service, it was busy still everyone had smile on face and helping each other. My food came up soon, everything was really nice even the manger Jagjeet came to check on us if we were doing good.

Amazed by the service of every worker, Asmita helped me with my takeout order, and i got everything as perfect as i demanded. It was busy time but still got my takeout order on time. I Appreciate the efforts of staff.

One star.and I’m being generous. The orange juice was good, coffee was mediocre. Waited over 50 minutes for my order and still nothing. About 7 tables that were seated after me all got their meals. I asked the server about my order and she stated it will be out soon, later on another server said ill check it should be 5 mins, 10 minutes later.still nothing! Then awhile later another server came to confirm my order? And tell me it should be ready soon? I have never waited an hour for food in any dine in restaurant. It is very obvious they lost my order, and in 50 minutes of me sitting and waiting they didnt even care to top off coffee or come and check on my table. If you want to loose your appetite and waste your time Dennys is the right place.

The food was awesome. We totally loved Samridhi. She treated us very politely and nicely. I loved the place

Friendly staff. Good food. Nothing id drive miles for.got the $9.99 special. 2 eggs 2 toasts. 2 sausage and 2 bacon with coffee.only small issues.didn't check up on me.sat a long time with no water or jam.gave me one small jam too start. Waitress was nice otherwise.

Fantastic staff who are willing to put up with my friends and I. And all the ensuing hijinks when we are able to get together, lol!

Had breakfast with family today. The food was delicious, service was prompt and friendly and we felt safe because staff and customers adhered to the public health protocols for restaurants. Will eat here again and recommend to family and friends!

Good food as always. Server Paige was awesome. As a Deaf customer she took out her notepad and pen right away and started writing. This needs to happen more often as people are ignorant the first time and second. If it was up to me, I would awarded Paige employee of the month for getting clues right and for great customer service. Cheers. Next time I come in. I will request for her

It's a denny's. You know what your getting. It would be nice of they had some vegan options. There is a non-dairy alternative available for coffee but they upcharge for it. Pretty standard. Service is always good and the food is consistent.

The service as good, this location is just like any other. However, I went around 11pm and the menu is limited at that time. I wasn't expecting that so I was disappointed because I couldn't order what I wanted. Other than that it's an ok place for a quick meal.

Best for morning breakfast of egg and coffee also usually i go in night to get their Philly melt and milkshake

Service is usually good! I find it will vary depending on who is staffed. It's typically decent though, at the very least. Food is the usual Denny's quality. Not Cactus Club level, but better than the at home fiery attempts in the kitchen.

It was really good. Ordered 55+ bacon n eggs. Poached eggs not soft enough. Bacon too salty. Waitress was nice and didn't interrupt to much.

Party of 7 included 3 kids. Ordered our meals and 2 out of 7 meals had hair in it which was visible before placed on thr table. Immediately notified server and she took them away. Was so grossed out by the whole ordeal we ended up leaving. Won't go back

The Denny's in Newton (Surrey B. C.) has the most polite and efficient people I've ever met and had the pleasure of getting to know. Especially Avneet, a young beautiful East Indian girl who is absolutely one the sweetest most kind young lady at 20yrs old! I only hope she is recognized and she really should get a beautiful trophy or certificate for all she's worth!

Like a family whom I can easily say I respect for many reasons. Without a doubt a great place doing business here. The Food is excellent, staff simply amazing.
And above all one of only two whom provide the courtesy of understanding and excepting my service dog also. Bravo!

I really like the environment. Specially the server named Shabum was very friendly. He was not only polite but also cute. Entire time he served me and my sister with a smile.will surely visit again soon.keep it up️

The food is consistent and the service is good. It gets busy on the weekends, but that's to be expected for a breakfast place

I went there with a co worker this past Friday March 1,2019.
We were seated and then that was it. Nobody came back to our table at all. We sat there for 15 min. Nobody made eye contact brought us water or anything. It is like we were invisible. We walked out. I will never go here again.

The food was good and the staff friendly and efficient. They have a bar area with stools if one is inclined to watch TV with a sport on. They had a rack with the day's paper on which customers could read while eating. Was disappointed with bathroom accessibility. Persons with disabilities would have to use a buzzer to get assistance opening the door.

Pretty expensive for the quality of food you receive. Costs the same as Red Robins prices but less than half the quality lol. Only good thing is that its open late as heck. Milkshakes were good tho.

Enjoyable breakfast though overall.

Went on a brunch date with my husband and the food was quite good. I had ultimate omelette and my husband had the sunny side one. Delicious! What made me give 5 stars was our waitress Paige. She was so great! Shes exactly what all waitresses should be like.

Had a good time here. Went with my sister midmorning. Our server Kayla she was pleasant. Checked in with us a few times and always had a smile with every request that we made. I like to see servers that have this kind of demeanor.

Definitely enjoyed my breakfast. Staff was great, pretty friendly. Don't forget to go there on your birthday for a free grand slam!

I love eating breakfast here! The eggs are always perfect but the real reason is the service! Just blows me away the kindess and desire to ensure you are taken care of. Denny's is pretty standard but our Newton Centre Denny's keeps the small town feel in our big city. KEEP up the great work! A side note they have a great meeting room. First come first serve for a group of 10 ish people Great room for meetings.

This review is based on my accumulated experiences with this location ever since it opened in 2016. I go to this Denny's 1-3 times a month since it's close by and open 24 hours.

Food:
Their quality isn't always consistent, but the food's fine most of the time. There will be times where the food is the bomb (e.g. The mozza sticks are cooked perfectly and can get so stretchy they can choke you if you don't eat carefully) but there will also be times where the food is just aite (e.g. The mozza sticks have a flimsy coating and the cheese doesn't stretch). The biggest food mistakes I've experienced/personally seen are:
1) Served hard, unripe avocado slices with my Cobb Salad
2) Boyfriend's Double Cheeseburger had patties that were still very pink inside
3) Meatballs from my Brooklyn Spaghetti & Meatballs were squishy and still slightly pink inside
They do fix it if you ask, so there's that.

Service:
Service is usually pretty good. I'm happy as long as the servers come by often enough that I can ask for drink refills. I can only remember two times when the level of service was significantly lower than I'd expect from a Denny's. The first time was where we were basically ignored after receiving our food. The second time was where it took a long while to receive what we asked for, but they were severely understaffed when that happened, so it was understandable.

Cleanliness:
The restaurant-tables, seats, floor, and washroom-is pretty clean. There were a few times where there were food stains on the menu, but that's basically it.

Ambience:
They have nice decorations and give off a warm, casual vibe. Other Denny's actually feel a bit dark and depressing to me, but I like this one. Being a family-friendly, 24/7 restaurant, it gets loud when it's busy and quiet when it's slow, as expected.

Summary:
It's a nice, clean, friendly place. I go here because it's convenient and is somewhere I can get food in my belly late at night. If they improve the consistency of their food quality, I would go here more often.
