Dental Clinic

This place is a complete scam they will mess with your keys so you can have a problem later on and come back to them again instead of this clinic I suggest to go to the other dental clinic in Richmond Centre Even their dentist will tell you different things from each other

So just to give you a background, I have been going to this dentist office for several years on a three month basis with a plan that has 100% coverage. Great dentists however absolutely terrible receptionist. Almost every time I have a filling I receive a bill over and above my 100% coverage. When my wife goes to her dentist for a filling under the same plan she never has to pay out of pocket. So the last time I questioned why do I need to pay for a percentage of my filling when I have 100% coverage? I asked the receptionist to look into it and let me know as something does not seem right. She never did get back to me so I assumed everything was fine however on my next appointment she threatened to put me into collections so I reluctantly paid the bill. After this I thought I would submit the balance of my claim directly to the insurer for the amount that I was be accused of owing. It turns out I was right and I was reinbused.so I was wrongfully billed. Such a rude condescending bag of a receptionist, I will not be returning. Just like a terrible server in a restaurant can ruin a business so can a terrible receptionist.

Worst customer service. Receptionist there has no etiquettes to talk to patients. She is adamant to charge me for her mistake in claiming to insurance. Never going there again.
Worst part is - there is no escalation level to sort things out even if you try.

Overall great experience! I was able to do my regular check up with Dr. Tian and cleanings with Amy. I wanted to get my insurance checked before doing anything further. I have a crown to do and they were kind enough to give me a payment plan.

Reception sends insurance out for you and they bill directly to them. They even call the insurance companies when you're in the office so that you can hear that there isnt anything wrong.

Would recommend if youre ever in the area i think they are always taking new patients! Even for emergencies!

I would not recommend this place because you would not feeling welcome at all. The doctor is being very impatient with me.

Provides great service. Due to my disability they know they need to contact my neurologist before they can go further.

Never going back to this clinic again. They will charge your insurance for anything that they think you are eligible for even if you don’t need it.

I am a regular patient here. Staff is very courteous. Dr Choudrey is gentle and does his wok very well.

First time visit for a chipped tooth. They direct billed my plan. The doctor and staff was very nice. The experience was so good that I will be returning in a few days for a cleaning.

I had a great experience this morning at this clinic. I had an emergency and the receptionist was able to put me in early. I really liked DH Mina. Dr Poulus put my mind at ease. He very patiently explained to me what’s going on in my mouth. Thanks very much to them all!

My mother in-law went for chipped tooth. They fix it right away. Also fit her in for cleaning appointment right after. Very nice dentist and staff. Would recommend to friends.

Runs on time. Courteous and helpful staff. Good dentistry. All good. Would recommend to anyone for their dental needs. Loses 1 star because they did not communicate to me in advance that my dentist changed. Was assigned a new one, who is great. I already had a very good relationship with the last one though and would have liked a heads-up. Overall, very good service.

Dr. Tian is an expert, he is very polite and really have a plan for your dental care. A perfection in his profession in a friendly way. Highly recommend.

Im writing this review so that people are aware of the wrondoings of this office. I think Reception needs to be more alert when pulling files for the dentist's. I have 2 brothers & both of them have sat in the dentist's chair with another patients file. Both of my brothers first names start with the letter "R" and obviously they both have the same last name. My older brother went for his appointment and they gave my YOUNGER brother's file to the dentist. Only one of my brother's had an appointment that day; so it's not like both of them did where there could've been confusion. When the dentist announced what they were about to do, that's when my brother realized something was wrong.
Now on to my other brothers story. He sat in the chair & the dentist said something along the lines of: " Ok Malik, we are going to extract your tooth today". My brother immediately told the dentist that wasn't even his name. If my brother hadn't spoke up, they would've uneccessarily removed a tooth! These people are so neglegent and my parents have since then switched both of my brothers, as well as themselves to coppersmith dental where they have more competent people working there & they've never had one negative experience there.
I'm glad I never ended up here; luckily the dentist I've been going to for ages has been nothing but perfect in every aspect.:)

Great customer service and very friendly staff. Maria my dental hygienist was so good I was able to stay relaxed the whole time.

We are using this facility for 14 years. I believe this was one of the best service providers, but from last year and half its going down. Customer service is down, Employee training is down. Every time I think of leaving this place
With family of 4. I just remember excellent service we used to get.

From the second I walked into Richmond Dental Clinic, I was greeted gracefully. They got me scheduled for an appointment right away. The first thing I noticed when I came in is how great their customer service is. They did my cleaning, X-rays and checked what else I need for my next visit. I even got scheduled for my next appointment. If you’re looking for a dentist, don’t hesitate to come in because their service is exceptional. Thanks again Richmond Dental Clinic. I’ll definitely see you all soon.

I had a very painful tooth and called RDC at 11am and they booked me in the same day! (I’ve never been here before) Turns out that I needed a root canal and they did it right away! Everyone was very pleasant and forthcoming about any charges. The dentist was very kind and compassionate and listened very well to make sure I was 100% comfortable before he continued the procedure. They booked me in for a crown within a week and I walked out with the estimate for that procedure as well. Very happy with my experience. The location is convenient as well.

Nothing but good things to say about this place. Great location inside Richmond Centre. Easily accessible by transit but has ample parking too if you drive. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Dentist took his time with me. Never felt rushed. Asked me about my questions and concerns. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going here for years and it is a comfortable environment with lovely staff. They do a great job!

Be aware and do not go this place! If I can give it a zero star, I would. One female dentist extracted my 8yrs old's tooth without consent of the dad who took my son to the appointment. She operated on one tooth with cavity and decided to pull the one next to it. She used a device to force my son's jaws wide open for a bloody 2 hours! My son had huge pain after the 2hrs of dental procedure in his mouth which supposed to be a easy 30min appointment. The dad then brought back my son to the dental office but was shooed away and was told to "just give him Tyleno". My son was in such a pain that he rolled on the floor. We took him to Emergency department Richmond Hospital, where the doctor said that my son had injury of his jaw tendons during the procedure. The dentist should never operate on him with jaws forced open for 2 hours!

I've contact the office and no one was taking the responsibility to explain. I was ask to wait for next week when the Office manager be back. I confronted the female dentist she had no explaining of why she operates on my son for so long without consent with parents. I asked for a report but had get nothing from her.

Now I've changed to the other dental clinic. This experience still bites me as a nightmare. I decided to share with everyone else - please do not go to this clinic.
