Dr. Maria is really nice! When she knew that day is my birthday, she gave me a gift of flower. She is always patient to me and also has the best skills I never met in my life. She always gives me professional advices. Because of her, I won’t worry about my teeth any more.:)

Angelica is really nice as well. She had very long paitience with my kid. She always showed us the best way to clean teeth! She would find the reason and take the time to explain and guide in a caring manner, which is invaluable! She is professional and knowledageble! So lucky to meet her!:)

One if the Dentist didn't have enough experience. It was an emergency that I had to drop in, I assume it was a split tooth since my husband can see the crack line right in the middle where the bites are. I immediately went to the closes dentist, I didn't tell the Dentist about the split tooth and wanted her to tell me what's going on. She said everything was fine but my husband knew it was not ok. Husband showed the dentist and said 'isnt that a split line right in the center? ', she then looked again and said 'yes, you are right, it is a crack, I m sorry'. How can that be acceptable? Then I was so upset, paid and left, will never go back.

Just have some fillings done today with Dr Maria! She is so kind and detail oriented! Meanwhile, her assistant Ava is so nice and friendly as well! Definitely coming back for fillings in the future and would recommend my friends to come!

My experience with Dentists At Metrotown is amazing! Doctor Maria has been very kind, wonderful, and professional. She helps me a lot with my teeth and invisalign, also other things like filling, scanning, and cleaning. She always listen to my problems and concerns every time during my visit, I love her so much! All her assistants in the room and at the front desk also have been very helpful and amazing! I had a great experience with Dr. Han. Every step was explained to me beforehand so I knew what to expect and roughly how long it would take.
Dr. Han is very friendly and approachable! I would highly recommend for everyone!

they called me and basically explained it was a miscommunication on the receptionist's end. The manager told me i will not be charged for 2 consults. I feel a lot better now and will probably go back to complete the procedure.

ORIGINAL REVIEW
I called to remove my wisdom teeth, they booked me w the owner dr Maria to hav an exam first and then said extraction will be after the exam. At first I was told it costs around $200/tooth for simple cases which is average cost around burnaby.

At the appointment today, dr Maria checked my teeth and told me it’s simple to remove the wisdom teeth and also told me I hav a ton of surface cavities.

When I went to get a quote for the cost, they quoted 450 a tooth and told me it was a complicated case. IN ADDITION, I was told that I need to see another doctor at their office for ANOTHER consult. When I asked why I didn’t do consult with the second doctor in the first place they asked if I asked for the specific doctor? (How the hell am I supposed to know which dentist at their office removes wisdom teeth and who doesn’t) so now they are expecting me to pay for 2 consult at the SAME office.

FYI my wisdom teeth is still under the gum so it is impacted by gum and it is vertical not horizontal.

They also quoted me 2500$ to restore all the cavities.

I’ve see Dr xu previously for root canal and I was charged fairly and he did a great job idk what happened this time

Just had my cleaning done with Emily today. She's so careful, patient and friendly. She always cares about how I feel during the cleaning and gives very useful suggestion on the health of my teeth. I'd like to have her next time, too!

Sheela, the hygienist, is very professional, gentle and always smiling. I feel very safe while she's cleaning my teeth. Very good experience.

Had been here for semi-annual hygiene check and filling over the past 4 years. Jin has done a fantastic job booking my appointments and sending out reminders, as well as checking my insurance balance to help making filling plans. Angelica my hygienist is gentle and efficient. Dr. Han is excellent, had my teeth filled last year and nothing else needed to be done this year. Great team!

I have been waiting forever to do my front crown and finally took the leap. Dr. Wang walked me through the procedure and when the day finally came it was pain free. I was a nervous wreck but I persevered and my smile is amazing! I should have never waited.

Hygienist was okay. The dentist was the concern. Unwilling to communicate or ask me what I need help on. I was just there for a consultation, for a past filling that still felt high. I asked him what options I have to solve this issue, he used a strip to test and started shaving parts including my real enamel beside the filling which was not the problem area. If he had communicated with me before he did anything, I could have shown him exactly where the problem is. Then I would not have needed to sacrifice my real enamel for experiment.

Dr Maria has done an awesome job with the filling. My front teeth looks nice and tidy. Love it!

It is nice place the clinic is very clean, the service is wonderful and staff are respectful and very professional.

I started here as a new patient recently and can’t recommend it enough. All the staff are lovely, and I’d like to especially shout out Dr Maria and the hygienist Tanin who made me feel so safe and comfortable as I had my procedures done. I had a check-up/cleaning, fillings, and veneers for my top 4 front teeth done there, all were smooth and easy procedures and I’m so happy with how the veneers turned out.:)

I went to this clinic for my dental problems, I saw every things are well organized and privacy of the patients so, Dr. Maria treated my teeth and it was done very well.

Edited Review: I was here a week prior to have cleaning done and was told that I need additional work due to cavities. When I was paying for my cleaning service I was eligible for a student discount which was not applied and when I spoke to the receptionist about it she said he would "credit" me on my next visit for the cavities. She wrote some random numbers on a piece of paper and I was concerned that it was not enough so I asked her for a quote for my next service with the cost after discounts and coverage. She gave me an estimate and she said she would put the invoice in the system and that she would be here during my next visit to sort it out. Next week came around and after having my cavities filled it was time to pay, and to my "surprise" the original receptionist was not here and to my "surprise" the quoted price did not match what was previously quoted with an added service to the invoice that was not there prior. And instead of paying for what I was told, I paid over $70 than what was quoted. I feel scammed. I will be going to another dental office from now on.

Never had a negative experience. Always felt safe and well taken car of. Harry and Dr. Wong are one my of my favourites and are pretty damn cool

The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Maria. She is super knowledgeable and explains each procedure clearly, what needs to be done and provides valuable advice, so make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Everything was on time and it was an extremely professionally run office.

Always been afraid of going to the dentist but Dr Maria and her assistant Harry did an amazing job. Root canal went super smooth and happy with the results. I used to see Dr Dhillon but he retired.

I was with Dr Maria and her CDA Tanin as new patient, they are amazing, Dr Maria Zanjanian an experienced dentist, she was perfect at diagnosis and planing the treatments, office was so clean and all the staff were friendly. And i had hygiene done by lauren i’ve never had a better oral hygien, highly recommended.

Sophia did a good job cleaning my teeth today. Her hands are so soft and gentle. I felt so comfortable seating on the chair.

I took my boyfriend to visit the dentist on a Saturday and we were greeted by the Admin with a cold and unfriendly attitude. She gave a us the paper form, which we had filled digitally from the link that the dental office gave us. And we wondered why we had to do it again, since the one online form was similar. We asked the lady nicely if the link was from this office and why we had to fill it again, it was because we were concerned it might be a scam and it contained all of our personal info. She replied us with an attitude that we were annoying her. She said she couldn't find our online profile, so we had to fill it again. I then asked if I could change the phone number on my bf's file, and she said "just fill in the form and I will change on my computer later". Still until today they still sent message to my phone number.
However, the dentist and the tech were more professional. Especially the dentist, who is super nice and she dedicatedly showed my boyfriend his tooth's problem and looked at the price of the future treatment for him.

I had an emergency treatment and got the best experience ever! I finally found a good dentist!
I will come back for follow up treatment.
No pain and doctor was super clear in terms of prices.

Dr. Maria is super professional and compassionate. Her assistant, Tanin, is also quite helpful with prepping and assisting and together they make you feel comfortable with the whole procedure.

Absolutely love going to this clinic. The front desk is very nice and accommodating. I had an incredible experience with Doctor Maria for my wisdom teeth removal and fillings. She ensured that I was comfortable and that the procedure was painless. She addressed all of my concerns whenever I asked questions and created a very warm and welcome environment and experience especially when I was feeling anxious. I don't like going to the dentist but based on my experience at this clinic and with Doctor Maria I definitely look forward to my next appointment.

Had what was thought to be an infection of my wisdom tooth on Sunday morning which got significantly worse throughout Sunday evening. I called the clinic on Monday morning as they opened and they were able to fit me in an appoinment on Monday afternoon with Dr. Dhillon.

Dr. Dhillon resolved the issue professionally and quickly. Overall I am very happy that my infection is now under control and I am looking forward to being back to get my tooth extracted from Dr. Dhillon!

Went to a few dentists placearound metro, but they are not as good as this one. I will now on start going here for my dentist stuff.
The staff is amazing and they take great care of you, exspecially Tanin, she will ask how you feeling and keep you update on the progress. Not saying Dr. Maria is not good, it just because of Tanin, it make the progress alot better experience.
Dr. Maria help me with wisdom teeth and filling, all those experience are fast and painless.

My mom went in and got her cleaning done from Harry, she said he was very professional, thorough and did an amazing job. She would definitely recommend.

Tried so many dentists and hygienists and finally found the BEST!
If you want the most thorough cleaning, look for Meja. If you want a really good dentist, ask for Dr. Xu. He and his lady dental assistant are efficient and best of all, there is hardly any pain (if any). There is no longer a fear of going to dentists.

After watching YouTube videos' I was scared for teeth extraction. This is my first time teeth extraction ever. Went to clinic and spoke with Dr Hardev.he guide and make me comfortable and try to take out anxiety through talk. I finally end up for two wisdom teeth extraction. I found the procedure is painless. Highly recommend. Hardev Singh. He has a lot of experience in his field. Kudoos to all team for their services.

I made an appointment to get my cleaning done. It was not at all a good experience talking with one of the receptionist over the phone! These could show their overall review of the experrince that you may get while going there!

I could had been their new Client but that one conversation changed my decision and I canceled the scheduled appointment!

I went in today for a cleaning, and before I even made the appointment the girl at the desk called my insurance company and assured me I was fully covered. When I was done the appointment the other girl demands $37, I refused, she said whatever, I walked out.

Dr. Hardev Dhillon is very personable and puts you at ease the minute your assessment/clinical procedure begins with him. Prior to working on your teeth, he explains the procedure to you in layman terms and gives you the opportunity to ask questions. Most importantly, he keeps up with the newest dental technology, enabling you to receive the most accurate diagnoses and therefore, the best oral care possible. All in all, Dr. Dhillon is talented in his craft, and equally knowledgeable as he is caring - exactly how I want my dentist to be!

My experience with Dr. Xu and his assistant has been great. Both are very friendly and willing to explain to me what's being done to my teeth (root canal) and comforted me when I was scared of the procedure. Dr. Xu works fast but with the utmost attention to detail. Both Dr. Xu and assistant are amazing!

Waited 1 hour for my appointment to start despite arriving on time.

If you have time to waste waiting for your scheduled appointment, this is the place for you. I've been a regular at this clinic for a few years now but the wait time have become ridiculous and they no longer value nor respect my time or appointment times for the matter.

For my last 2 appointments, I have waited over 20 minutes before I was called in. At my last appointment, I arrived on time at my 11: 30 am appointment waited the usual 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. After that, I was asked to wait ANOTHER 20 MINUTES because the prior patient was running behind schedule so at that point I would have been waiting 40 minutes since my scheduled appointment. I really needed to get the service done so I waited the additional 20 minutes but when that was up, I was asked to wait for ANOTHER 10 MINUTES. In total, I waited 50 MINUTES BEFORE I WAS TAKEN IN.

This is unacceptable and ridiculous to expect me to be okay with WASTING 1 HOUR of MY time and had the audacity to ask me to reschedule due to an issue that is of no fault of mine.

Especially with COVID going on, it was very unfair and appalling to ask me to make time to reschedule and making me travel twice for the same appointment.

I am extremely disappointed that their business doesn't value their customer's time and asks CUSTOMERS to make extra arrangements to accommodate THEIR schedule. I would not recommend this clinic anymore.

I felt like I was being SCAMMED today!

I sadly have to leave my previous dental located In downtown Vancouver due to covid and wanted one near home, but it’s one of the worst experience I ever had.

I had a visit today for an issue that in my opinion is the result of my previous appointment with them in Dêcmber (fillings). My teeth got very sensitive after that appointment. Now I’m not saying I have perfect teeth but this is an issue that I never had and started after my appointment with them.

After talking to the dentist I was told come in so they can have a look. My appointment was booked Saturday @4: 30pm, and I was out at @4: 42pm. The doctor applied a cold cotton ball on to my sensitive tooth, and it reacted. She then applied a coat of something on top of my sensitive tooth, and told me that it should help. She advised me to buy another treatment from the drug store, and told me to come back for follow up in one week. (I did tell her that this only happen after the fillings)

Before I left I asked her, do I need to pay for anything? She “chuckle” and said no, let me tell the front desk.

I walked out got my appointment booked for a follow up, and was charged $20 (my insurance covered the rest about $80) for a 10mins appointment. I was never told I need to pay for it? Talk to the front desk they said doctor did an exam on you and applied treatment? Which the problem caused from the previous fillings they did on me?

I even told them that the doctor said I didn’t have to pay for anything, the front desk said the doctor think you got insurance cover for it all? This is not my first time going to them, I find it’s funny how unprofessional they are! Told me to come in so they can follow up with my sensitive issue that caused from the previous visit, come out and tell me to paid for something I was not even aware of or advised? I don't mind paying if it’s a legit reason, after all this the front desk come back and tell me you might have a root canal issue that’s why we charge for this visit?

*Not to mention after the previous filling my left bottom jaw was swollen for a week*

I know I have sensitive teeth, I was told by both of my previous dentals and orthodontist. Anytime they do anything on me, always with care and usually the swollen only lasted for 2 days max.

I decided to pulled all of my family members out of this dental office, and decided to go back to my old one in downtown that have integrity.

I had a good cleaning and checkup. I love this office and I never want to change dentists. Dr. Hardev Dhillon Is a great dentist and the hygienist was great. The front desk they were good as well. Thank you all.

Staff is helpful and knowledgable, and the practice seems modern and up-to-date. They really helped me out of a jam and look forward to getting back on my dental health.

Very professional, patient, caring staff who take the time to explain any and all options. They also take the time to personally follow up after procedures.

I was pretty confused about choosing a dental clinic to visit but after reading the reviews about ‘Dentists at Metrotown’, I decided to go with them.

I must say, service was excellent throughout the process, all the staff members were well trained and very friendly. As for my consultation, I was served by Dr. Dillon. He was very knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to deal with him.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience, will definitely visit again.

Dr. Dhillon is our family dentist. He has treated my 2 children since they were 3 years old for regular check ups, and cleaning. Few days ago, my 5 year old had her first wiggly baby tooth, and she was terrified with the idea of tooth extraction. However, Dr. Dhillon made the whole experience so pleasant that my little one can't wait to remove her next ones ASAP.

The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. I got an appointment the next day with doctor Dillon. He was very thorough, friendly and answered all of my questions.

I had to get cleaning, fillings, and extractions done. I was really scared when the first time I came in, but doctor Dillon did a fantastic job at making me feel comfortable. In the past 3 months we strategically tackled all my problem. After ever procedure I took 15 days interval which allowed me to heal and I was still able to eat everything. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I had a dental emergency and my dentist of 20 years was closed on a Sunday. I met with Dr. Phoebe Chen and she was amazing! She fixed my chipped tooth effortlessly. I am very happy with the results because I was quite apprehensive about working with a new dentist. Dr. Chen and her staff here were also incredibly kind. Thank you so much! I had a tooth extraction that needed to be done just before New Year’s Eve and this office squeezed me in. I was having a hard time getting in anywhere. They were busy however they knew it needed to be done so they got it finished. The dentist seemed overworked and I was so happy that it was complete that I gave her a hug afterwards. She was my hero on that occasion being the tooth had been bothering me for a week and a half and I was tired of taking pills. I will definitely be sending a cheers out to her on this New Year’s Eve. The Dentists @ Metrotown offers dental services in at least 3 languages. Not only that, Dr. Hardev Dillion removed 2 of my wisdom teeth in a matter of 10 minutes or less. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of dental service from this location.

Dr. Yanbin Xu is a magician. Enough said. From cavities fix to wisdom tooth extraction. All around amazing experience.

I went there to book a first appointment and the front desk was rude and impatient. I felt humiliated. The front desk is the first impression of the clinic and it should be well trained and helpful. I hope the dentists are better.

This clinic is a dental sweatshop. I used to work there, some of them were too busy to do disinfection right.
