Departure Bay Pizza

Terrible every time I’ve been here. Overpriced greasy pizza. Tonight I had raw chicken wings from them! Steer clear people avoid at all costs!

As far as my taste buds go, this is the best pizza in our city! The service was absolutely wonderful. Even though it's take out only the staff are very friendly and personable

Was my first time ordering from departure Bay Pizza and in my personal opinion I think this might be some of the best pie in town. Nice crisp exterior and nice soft interior of the crust coupled with extremely fresh ingredients. Nice job guys I think I just found my new go to pizza spot.

This was our first order from Departure Bay Pizza. What a treat! We had a Deluxe pizza. It was loaded with toppings, baked perfectly. Delivery was so fast! It arrived before they said it would by more than 15 minutes. So delicious. I think we have found our new favorite Pizza Place!

Best pizza! Whenever we come down from Vancouver we always eat at Departure Bay pizza! The crust is so delicious and they don’t cheap out on the ingredients! I totally recommend it!

Ive got too say, for a business opening in the midst of a global pandemic with only hope they have done far beyond my expectations. THE STAFF IS AWESOME. FOOD IS BEYOND GREAT. Prices are extremely reasonable! Tax included. Love this place and had too say it.

Amazing cheese bread and amazing service, something was forgotten in my order and they got it out to me within 10 minutes. They were so kind and lovely over the phone. The pizza is DELICIOUS and the toppings are quality. The combos are such good value. Will definitely be ordering again and again.

Same pepperoni distribution as little Caesar’s at double the price. Unfriendly demeanor on the phone.

Won’t be back until exhausted all other options, recommend dominos or panago over this.

I’m an exchange student and every lunch break i had to get 2-3 slices! SO good. This pizza place will stay in my memory for sure:).

Worth the extra couple dollars for these amazing Pizzas. I ordered the medium Tropical Hawaiian $16 and medium Deluxe (1 substitution) $19.

The pizza quality is way better than the low end pizza chains and still beats the high end pizza chains. The dough was thin and crust crispy. The sauce had a good tomato flavor and definitely didn't skimp on the cheese like the lower end pizza chains. The toppings were fresh and better quality. Great overall pizza and worth the extra money.

Service was quick and friendly. They allowed me to replace a topping on their specialty pizza. I think they could use a website but I found their menu eventually on Facebook.

I've ordered here for pick up a few times now and they're always on time. The pizza and cheesy bread are delicious and I pick this spot over dominoes, fresh slice and panago (places we used to get pizza from) every single time. This is definitely the best pizza in Nanaimo

My new favorite! Tried them out for the first time today and was blown away. Fresh and hot, loads of toppings, sauce was delicious and not too salty or greasy either. I'd definitely recommend to anyone! PS, the Tandoori chicken pizza is amazing!

First time trying Departure Bay Pizza and really impressed! Will definitely be going back, my kids couldn't get enough.
