I’ve been going to Derma spa for two years now for all my medi aesthetic needs and I couldn’t be happier. The staff are so friendly and are able to work with you to meet your goals within your timeframe/budget. My skin has truly never been better!

I got a lip flip ($63 after tax) done by nurse jasleen two days ago and i absolutely cannot thank her and the staff enough.what an incredible first time experience.first of all, the booking process with the admins was SO! Easy and friendly.they were so considerate and conscious of making sure you feel comfortable at every step of the process starting at the initial text and/or phone call.second, my consultation was super friendly and informative and i never felt like anything was being pushed on me because i was unsure whether i should start with a flip and see how i like it or save and full send on filler.they reminded me that i can take a few days to think it over too and cancel the appointment if i felt i needed more time.they were also super transparent about pricing.third, nurse jasleen is SO reassuring and kind.i was pretty nervous because im kinda afraid of needles and sometimes faint but she took the time to make me comfortable before doing anything as well as after.she handled the needle behind me where i couldn’t see it as well which was just such a considerate gesture.everything was explained to me in a kind and thoughtful manner by her and she never treated me like being nervous was overreacting which definitely calmed me down quite well.she let me do what i needed to get comfy and provided extra options to help.she also worked with what kind of results i was hoping for and made the decision to slightly change the placement in order to get me there.she got what i was going for immediately and knew what to do to get me there.in the end, it was no biggie.it didn’t hurt at all and she seemed genuinely proud and excited that it was a good experience for me.she gave me a juice box of my choice and sprayed me with a little mist too at the end for funsies which i thought was cute.it was like your friend’s big sister letting you try her fancy products lol.overall, i never felt like i was rushed at any point of the entire process and i really really appreciate the way i was treated by all the staff i worked with.the follow up process is also really great and you can tell they truly care about making sure their clients are happy.i will definitely be returning and have already recommended them to a handful of people.this place is a gem and the staff are incredible.thank you to everyone i worked with from start to finish <3

I started going to Derma Spa earlier this year, my skin has never looked better. Nurse Jovanna is the absolute best! She’s so skilled, patient, kind and I always know that I’m in good hands. I highly recommend Derma Spa for all your skin care needs. The clinic itself is lovely and the rest of the staff are also amazing:)

Don’t think twice about Derma Spa and Nurse Jovanna in particular, she is not only highly professional and knowledgeable but also carries a radiant, positive energy and made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I've been going to Derma Spa in Oakbay for years. Nurse Jasleen is awesome! Very kind, professional, and knowledgeable with the treatments provided. Your skin is in good hands. Would highly recommend this medi-spa if you live in Victoria.

My Botox appt felt rushed, with total appt time for first consult and injections taking less than 20mins. My request was for a simple procedure I’ve had done many times, so that was not too concerning. The injector was polite, but aloof, seemingly eager to end their day. Technique for product placement is not the best I’ve had, and though my Botox will have fully kicked in by now, the wrinkled area I wanted targeted is unchanged and it is other areas around it that are frozen.

The worst experience at this clinic (that I have still been thinking about and discussing with my friends after visiting), is that I was asked to leave a tip when paying - with percentage based options ranging in the same amounts usually seen at a restaurant. Considering the already inflated costs with cosmetic injections compared to actual product cost, this surprised me. I was able to bypass and leave a dollar amount of my choosing, which still means I tipped more here than any other professional injection clinic in the last 10 years where I have not been asked to leave a tip. This made me feel uncomfortable at the desk and left me seriously questioning the practices and staff compensation at this business.

Beware a business that has hundreds of 5 star reviews from profiles with only 1 review. I will look closer when choosing my next cosmetic injection clinic.

If you are anything like me and you need to shop around and be super picky with your injectors, just pick this clinic. I saw Jasleen for my filler and she is an absolute angel and did the best work I’ve had done. Thank you so much Jasleen, and also to Alex, their amazing clinic director. He was incredibly informative and you can tell he loves what he does.

Once again… my jaw is on the floor, Nurse Jovanna has done it again! I got 0.5ml lip filler about a month ago for the first time with Jovanna and we ultimately decided to add a little bit more in the following appointment as I was a little unsure at first. Yesterday, I had my second appointment; I could not have been more happy with the results. She managed to make my lips look so full while not crossing the line of looking unnatural. In short, I am so grateful I got to have my first filler experience with Jovanna! She is friendly, diligent, gentle and very efficient while maintaining the highest quality of work.
I would highly recommend booking with Jovanna at derm spa her work is worth it!

I was warmly welcomed and felt comfortable. I had the pleasure of booking with Nurse Jovanna. I loved the in-depth pretreatment consult that included professional photos and measurements to ensure I would get the correct and proper outcome based off of my current features. Nurse Jovanna was amazing to speak with and made me feel comfortable, safe and not just like a number but an important individual. She was very meticulous and light handed with an eye for perfection and detail. She was methodical with her filler placement and took her time to ensure for the best possible outcome. I am extremely happy and will be forever grateful for her magical craft that could fix my very unsymmetrical lips. They turned out beautifully natural and l am very happy. I will be back and tell everyone I know to see her.

Great Experience! This is my first time getting my lips done, was feeling very self conscious about my lips thinning already at 51, so I decided to do some research and came across Jovanna at Derma Spa:)
I had my consultation with Deenise, and she was absolutely wonderful! I then met with Nurse Jovanna and she is truly amazing, confident and great at what she does! I felt at ease through the entire process as she is a pleasure to talk with:) Jovanna explained everything as she was injecting my lips, so I knew what was happening throughout the process. She also checked in to see how I was doing multiple times after my appointment and even sent me before and after pics, which was great to be able to see. I even received Chocolate sweet treats after my Tx. I would certainly recommend lip filler at Derma Spa by Jovanna to others.

I recently received Botox treatments from Nurse Jovanna and words cannot explain how pleased I am with the service and results. Jovanna took her time to explain the procedure, aftercare and expectations with great knowledge. She was very gentle, with an amazing injecting technique. She was also super sweet and you can tell she really cares about her patients getting the best outcome possible. Jovanna even checked in 1 week after the treatment to ensure the product was taking effect and that I was happy with the results. I have received Botox treatments at various clinics throughout the years, and never have I experienced such compassion and care. Jovanna is truly an Angel of beauty!

Where to start. I had amazing experience with dermaspa. From consultation to finish the team were friendly, accommodating, and professional. If you wish to feel like a million dollars I HIGHLY recommend nurse Jovanna, she is a literal wizard. Hands down best nurse injector I have been to. Congrats, you have a customer for life.

I highly recommend Derma spa. They have been an amazing team, since I first called the receptionist was so friendly and understanding! She booked my first consult with Alex and he was nothing but amazing, he answered all my questions and gave me the cons and pros of the procedure I wanted.

He booked me in for the next day to see the surgeon. The surgeon and his assistant were absolutely wonderful and made me feel comfortable and safe all along! Overall this was a great experience, the last place I went to was a nightmare and Derma spa is working on fixing what I thought wasn’t fixable! She offered various methods to take my mind off any discomfort I might have felt down to the type of music and volume in the room. I had my first experience with getting lip filler by Nurse Jovanna. I was really nervous and excited! I was stumbling my words and felt like I didn’t know how to human but felt comforted with the information Jovanna let me know prior to my procedure. The numbing cream is a godsend and it really was a great experience over all. I look forward to going back to Dermaspa in the future.

Very disappointed. Had a facial peel done and had absolutely zero results. At best, I was expecting some sloughing of the skin after all, that's what one would expect from a 'peel'. Afterwards, I had no signs of having had any treatment to my skin. No redness, no tightness.nothing. For all I know, I had moisturizer applied to my skin. For $130, I expected more.

I always have such an amazing experience when I visit Derma Spa. All the staff are so friendly and helpful from the moment I walk in. Julie is such a welcoming presence at the front desk and always manages to fit me in for an appointment or even sooner with a cancellation appointment. Jovanna is incredible and amazing at what she does and makes sure my treatment plan is right for me every time. Last visit I had Dr. Winton.also fabulous! These ladies know what they are doing and are amazing at it. Thanks for the incredible experience every time!

I've been going here for a year now and will never go anywhere else. Working with Jovanna, the kind, professional, lip queen, not only have I gone from paper thin lips to actually having lips, I have created a confidence I had no idea I knew I could attain. Not only is she personable, she is experienced and is honest about the results. She made sure we built lips slowly and progressively to avoid the less than desirable look of filler going above the lip line.
I consistently get compliments on how amazing my lips are. People will actually go out of their way to approach me to make sure they let me know lol. It is a very clean, safe environment and such a quick procedure, it's quicker and less painless than waxing. I could not say enough about how lovely the entire team/experience is.

The kindest staff, they walked me through each step and any questions I had they answered, it was quick easy and painless. I had Botox in my jaw due to insanely bad jaw pain, witching two days of it being done, the results were fast and I'm no longer in any pain whatsoever. I used to walk around with a pharmacy of Tylenol. But thanks to the staff at deems spa but most importantly Jovanna she changed my life. Because the pain was that unbearable. I also brought my puppy in and she was given all the pets, they even watched her when I was going through the procedure. Highly recommend them:)
