NB: The sobriquet "Methcanso" is a fitting characterization of the place on the weekends.
As well, it is so inundated on the weekends/peak season that it's reminiscent of riding Japanese commuter rail during rush hour.
The combined squealing of all the children is so loud that it rings through all the mountains for weeks afterwards.
However.
The madding crowd have a low tolerance for rain, and riding the Gwawis on weekdays, so this is when you can truly appreciate this beautiful setting.and it is a lovely spot.

Beautiful campsite. Some are very close together but others have some limited privacy. Highly recommend spending 1/2 day there. Gorgeous sunsets. And beautiful place to swim on a summer day. Watch out for the mice!

First time staying for a night here. It was amazing. A quiet place for camping. Very relaxing and beautiful views.
