I just got my Honda HRV 2024 from this dealer. Wayne Chow, who was my Guest Advisor, really helped me from beginning to end on my car journey. I felt like we were warmly welcomed and accommodated. All of the staff there were very friendly and cheerful. Sandra, who was the Financial Services Manager, was very good in explaining with what comes with the car. Everything was smooth.

We're also happy that they filled up the gas tank when we got the car. Never experienced buying a car like this anywhere else. They made our journey as stress free as possible.

Would recommend this dealer if you're planning to buy a car from Honda!

I have been dealing with Honda Service centres in Vancouver for over 30 years with the last 4 years @ Destination Honda Burnaby. Also owning Ram and Subaru cars, hands down this service centre is the most professional and focused on customer service. You cannot go wrong with them.

They sent my wife home in tears. She took a day off work for an oil change and a new windshield. After waiting the 8 hours she was told they forgot to do the oil change. Was told "Just come back anytime and we'll change the oil" A total disregard for a person's time and the attitude was deplorable. A windshield is a 4 - 5 hour job maximum and at $2000 they could show a little respect. On top of all this, the Service Managers did not return our calls. This dealership is a place to avoid.

I wanted to take a look at a specific used car in their inventory. I live almost an hour away so I wanted to make sure that it was available before I made the trip to the dealership. I confirmed its availability an hour before I arrived, but when I got there, another interested party was already looking at it and purchased it. There is obviously no coordination between their salespeople. I do want to note that everyone we interacted with individually was very friendly and courteous. The dealership itself was also a clean and pleasant place to shop. If you live in the area or are just casually browsing, I'm sure your experience will be fine. But if you have your eye on a specific used car and you have to plan your day around going to the dealership, I would advise you to look elsewhere. Car shopping already isn't fun, you don't need the extra stress of uncertainty or potential time wasted on top of it.

We just got a brand new 2022 Honda Civic (lease) from this location.

The service was excellent from Jack Liu and we would highly recommend asking for him if anyone else is looking to get a car from this location.

He knew the car we wanted inside and out, was very friendly, clearly cared about us, and didn't pressure us into making any decisions.

Overall a fantastic experience for leasing our first car in this 'hot' market.

This destination Honda service is the one of the best one. I was got a car recently two weeks before form this location. All staff members are very nice people and there is a on the name of *Alex* I guess from sales department, he is the best one because I was like sonic gray colour but unfortunately not in stock but he put all his efforts to get that one, finally he brought for me. ALEX you are best one, and also on the finance department I think her name is sandra.she did best work for me

Edit: I brought in my key fob for a battery replacement at the parts dept. I am under the honda plus warranty so the battery replacement is free.
The gentleman at the counter was able to change my battery and I asked him to confirm if the battery replacement is free because I'm under the honda plus warranty.
He proceeded to explain that I would have to pay for the replacement battery. I was kind of taken back from this so I showed him the honda plus warranty where it talks about the free battery replacement. He didn't know about it and was able to give me the replacement for free.

I assume the gentleman was a recently new employee so I forgiven him for it. He was overall kind, understanding and helpful.

I also brought my car in for oil change a couple of times already. I had no negative experience from, except for one time when the polite lady working there was going over my oil change and inspection results.
I asked about the CVT transmission fluid and why there wasn't a check mark on the result page. She proceeded to tell me that the CVT don't have transmission fluid.she said it in a confused way. I chalked it up as not enough knowledge about inner workings of the engine. I said thank you for the oil change and left with a smile (I knew my car wasn't ready for a transmission fluid change yet, so I didn't want to argue with her and make the situation awkward for both of us.plus it was really busy in the service dept that day).
I did come back for an oil change after 8 months and asked a gentleman named patrick about the CVT transmission fluid change and he told me that yes they do change it, but my car wasn't ready for one yet.

Overall my experience is pretty positive, everyone in service was polite, patient and understandable. I would suggest for car owners to read your car manuals, know your warranty and be patient with the service employees there.

My 1st oil change. Great service!

Now 3 months later. I toke my Fit in for another service.
Ronald has been very helpful. The receptionist was very patient and friendly as I am old and hearing impaired. He even helped to delete some unnecessary service jobs and the final service charge was very reasonable. They also sent me and my handicaped wife to the mall for waiting and then took us back when the job has finished.
I felt very relaxed to deal with their team. I have no hesitation to return to them for a future car work.

Unfortunately yesterday I went for express oil change and also flat tire it took about 3 hours.after 3 hours they gave may car and I began to drive I not that the did not changed the oil then I cane back and it took about one hour again to do that. I was there about four hour and without any apologize or anything else the gave my car and goodbye.
I want to say my disappointment here to maybe it won't happen again.

Thia is Respond to owner's reply: No, flat tire was not emergency and when I riches there no one was in queue and second I came there usually and I know how it is going. Before flat tire I said I am here for oil change also your college ask me about that and I said yes and I have flat tire issue too.
What was bother me was they put me in the end row again and was not try to do my service sooner because normally it take half an hour but yesterday it take almost one hour.
By the way thanks for respond but nothing changed with my wasted time

Last week I had occasion to visit Denstinaion Honda for the purpose of having my winter tires installed. I was diismayed when I arrived for my appointment time and found I was the sixth car in line. Fearing a long wait I was pleanstly surprised when my service advisor, Paul McMillan, informed me it would still be about the hour I had expected. He was true to his word and I was out of the shop in just over the hour. Thank you Destination Honda and Paul for meeting my expectations and providing me with excellent service.

We had an appointment with Daniel to see a car, but when we arrived, Daniel wasn't there anymore and the car was unavailable. Luckily we were directed to Reza who reschedule our appointment and took good care of us. Reza was very helpful and explained all options during the sales. We also got a good deal on the trade for our old car. The car we got is in an impeccable shape and the service was really good as well. Sandra from financing was also very helpful and friendly. Overall our experience was very positive.

There were 2 reasons why I bought a Honda CRV from this store. First, it is the best price when I were searching a pre-owned CRV. Second, the Customer service representative named Ken Chan was super friendly and always answer my questions and calls as quickly as possible with patience. As a client, I may not be 100% satisficed with this used car, but I am 100% satisficed with the service of this nice person. Only one thing should be improved for this firm is to clarify the term CPO which has 2 critical conditions - the remaining distance and remaining time of the factory warranty. Whichever comes first will count whichever.

Something fishy going on.

Without being too wordy:

1. Employee told me deal went through over email when in fact, it actually did not go through in real life
2. The dealer at the place said "We agreed on email" but I actually didn't agree to anything except a test drive and/or viewing.

"Exceeds Expectation"

The service department is horrible. My car was towed at night, in the morning I called them to make sure that they have keys and to tell them what the problem was. They told me someone will call me soon. Waited 4h no one called me I called them for an update I was told they are busy with the walk-ins…. At 5: 00 pm Raymond called me to ask what’s the colour of my car and to ask where is the key…. I wasted one day without the car, they didn’t even bother to check my car. This is a second time that I had very bad experience with service department. I bought two cars from Honda but this is it. Never ever again. I don’t want to deal with the company that doesn’t respect their customers.

We bought our first car in Canada at Destination Honda dealership and it was a great experience. The staff, our Guest Advisor Eric and Financial Service Manager Faye, were extremely friendly and guided us thoroughly with patience through the entire process. The dealership followed most of the COVID-19 safety protocols diligently. Just one suggestion - the dealership should consider assigning a dedicated office to the onsite ICBC agent because it gets difficult to communicate with the surrounding noise.

I made the mistake once to take my car to another shop, it was closer to home, less costly. It resulted in the mechanics using cheap after market parts that made the vehicle sound and perform worse. I took it back to Destination Honda and they got me sorted out. Costly lesson for me but I'l never make it again. All my cars get serviced at Destination Honda. You get what you pay for there, happily!

On July 24th I went to this car dealership to buy a new car. I also returned my old car to them. When I returned my own car, I forgot to remove the trunk cover. At around 10 o'clock in the morning on July 26, I came to this car dealership again. I got the manager and the help of an employee named Ken. He helped me retrieve the trunk cover and help me install it on my new car. Although the car was not sold to me by them. But they gave me warm service. For this, I am very grateful.

Edit: Service manager reached out to me personally, and offered to do another inspection.
This time, they found that the issue was not as dire as engine replacement, but a simpler fix, still worth a bit of money, which they waived charges for as a gesture of goodwill.
I am satisfied that they found and fixed the issue, and greatly appreciate the goodwill gesture. As such, I will update my review to 5 stars.
Thank you for the service. I'm talking to your sales next to hopefully finalize a new purchase soon as well.

Old review:
Got them to inspect a newly purchased used car, and to recommend repairs, if any. They found all the fluid levels to be 'bad' and suggested flush and refill. Cost a bit money too. Great, I thought since nothing else is wrong with the car, let me splurge and do everything they recommend, as well as detail to make it feel new.

One and a half months go by, now my car started making engine knocking noises. Bring it over to them, and they say I have engine damage and I need to replace the engine. Yes, out of the blue. Now I'm questioning whether they did anything in their initial 'inspection'.

I understand everyone can make mistakes, but I'm the one getting the short end. Staff was professional and courteous though, so two stars for that.

Adam and staff at Destination Honda, Burnaby made purchasing a vehicle a very positive experience. Other dealers can give off a distrustful vibe or added pressure, but not Destination Honda in Burnaby. Adam was extremely genuine, helpful, and very easy going throughout the whole process. Adam and the manager worked together to provide us with the best deal possible on all levels. In the end, we very pleased and we highly recommend seeing and working with Adam at Destination Honda in Burnaby. Thank you Adam!

Joe gave high pressure to do other service even though I booked only oil change. I explained to him my family member does the other major service for me. His comment is "your family member can't do oil change also". I guess doing an oil change only is not appreciated. He should try being nice to the customer instead of being pushy and maybe I would consider bringing my car back for other service issues.

Joe is right. I should not bring my car back to Destination Honda to oil change and pay another dealer the $125 it cost.
