My wife and I were lucky enough to take our first guided tour of your facility with Jake Lee - he was fantastic! We loved all of the detail and insight he was able to share, and was able to answer all of our questions, even ones that were only dinosaur-adjacent. The fossils and hand on experience we were able to enjoy was unmatched. Not only is the collection impressive, but it was an incredible experience to feel the indentations and texture of the dinosaur fossils. Somehow the cherry on top was the mammoth hair and tusk. To feel the hairs of an animal that lived thousands of years ago was something else! Thank you Jake and the Dino Lab for an amazing time!

DinoLab is the highlight of Victoria! Our guide Austin was not only extremely knowledgeable but wonderfully passionate about paleontology and the prehistoric world. This is a world class space with amazing staff, exceptional specimen and a pretty fabulous gift shop. This is an amazing experience and I'm already planning my trip back.

Had a private tour, super informative and fun look around the museum pieces. Great chance to see some world class specimens before they head out to museums around the world. Great that you can have a go using the pneumatic air tools on actual fossils, great experience even for adults. Gift shop is by far the best I've been too for dinosaur enthusiasts, top quality fossils for all ages and stages of collector, from $10 - $1000's and everywhere in between.

I loved this place it was so fun! Our tour guide owen explained everything to perfection and i could tell he had a deep knowledge about everything inside!

So much fun, and learned an amazing amount of stuff. Really appreciated that the tour was customized to the age group of the guests. The guide had a wealth of knowledge. Just an awe-inspiring experience altogether.

Wow wow wow! Like behind the scenes at a dino museum where you can touch the fossils, feel their weight, learn in depth about them, and then work on your own fossil extraction! What am amazing experience! Highlight of the trip for sure!

It was a great and unique experience. The tour started at their museum discussing their work and different dinos. Our guide was very knowledgeable in this field of work and we could feel he really enjoy working there.

The tour ends with half hour hands on with a fossil work in progress. It is a little long for half hour but nonetheless quite hands on.

Was hesitant at first but it was absolutely worth it! Guide was not only knowledgeable, but also just so passionate and friendly. I forget her name though, sorry! (Kate?)

My 6 year old was absolutely enthralled with the tour. The team is beyond knowledgable. We got to touch a lot of artifacts and even got to work on a real fossil at the end. This place is a gem for any dino lover!

We had an awesome tour today at the Dinosaur with Owen.
The kids absolutely loved it and Owen was super patient with them while sharing some amazing facts! The kids were enthralled with everything right throughout the whole tour. 10/10! Amazing We would definitely recommend a visit if you're visiting Victoria, BC as its easily the best museam/ dinosaur experience we have had to date. It was absolutely fascinating!

This was such a fun hidden gem in Victoria! Me and some friends booked a tour here and it was a ton of fun. The guide was super knowledgable and answered all of our questions no matter how silly and even joked around with us quite a lot. Its all very hands on and at the end they even let you have a hand at extracting fossils with the same tools they use! I can't recommend this experience enough, the staff is all lovely and we learnt a ton. I'll definitely be going again when im less rushed to run and catch a ferry so I have more time to enjoy the extracting part of the tour.

Our tour of DinoLab was awesome! Owen was so knowledgeable and cheerful. I'm an adult and didn't bring kids and it was really informative and fun. Would also be fun with kiddos. Friendly staff, exciting times for all ages. Loved the hands on approach - allowing to touch actual fossils and working on excavation of fossils with an air scribe.

This place made my son's birthday so very special! We will be booking a tour every time we come to Victoria!

A different dinosaur experience. A detailed look at the process of separating the fossils from the stone matrix, reconstruction and research. You finish the visit with actually working on a fossil. Our guide was very knowledgeable. If you've never lost your childhood fascination with fossils or you have a child who still has it, this is the place for you. Amazing gift shop

Did an evening adult tour with Jake (?) and he was excellent! Very knowledgeable and very courteous tour guide. A very cool experience. Even gave us a nice little gift for our honeymoon! How sweet!

Absolutely amazing experience, way beyond our expectations! My husband and I booked an adult tour during our honeymoon. We ended up being the only ones on the tour and got a wonderfully in depth experience. Our guide, Jake, was fantastic and answered all our questions and made the entire experience both entertaining and educational. It was a much better experience than going to a museum. We got to get up really close and touch fossils and learned so much. At the end of the tour, they even gave us a little gift bag with a card and some goodies for our honeymoon, which was a delightful surprise. We would highly recommended a visit for people of all ages:)

This place is great! My girlfriend loves dinos so I surprised her with a date night here. Very friendly staff, out of the box way of getting in touch with history. Will be back!

My expectations were really low, expecting all plastic replicas. But I was absolutely blown away by what they had to offer.a lot of real fossils, very interesting exhibits, very very knowledgeable guides.
I highly highly recommend this to everyone!

As an adult who has always loved dinosaurs, it was so awesome to be able to learn so much about the preservation and preparation of fossilized bones for display! Our guide Owen has a giant brain full of amazing dinosaur knowledge, and his passion for his job shines through on his tour! I would absolutely recommend this for any dino-fan in your family.

We facilitated our child's 11th birthday party through Dino Labs Inc, and wow were we ever impressed!

If you have a dino-nut in your life, the dollar value for what you get is totally there! We had a guided tour of the current fossils on site (which there are quite a few (90 mins didn't cover them all), a tour of a fossil processing lab and then proceeded to a private party room.

The tour was hosted by a knowledgeable, patient and very friendly member of the Dino Labs Team. Our kids bombarded them with questions on an ongoing basis during the tour; they stepped up to the challenge and even seemed to enjoy it. The host walked us through each fossil on display discussing the facts and history. Also, the kids were delighted that they got to actually touch real fossils.

The lab was really cool as well. The kids were setup at workstations where they could use actual fossil processing tools. Each workstation had an encased fossil which the kids were able to remove excess materials from.

The party room was pre-decorated in a dinosaur theme. The space would seat around 10 kids. There were also washroom facilities inside the party room as well, which was convenient. We also arranged party favours through Dino Labs, which was worth it as the kids were very excited about it.

What a great experience! Kay was an amazing (knowledgeable, approachable, engaging) guide. So many incredible artifacts and models to promote understanding. The kids (ages 4-7) LOVED it!

Amazing experience! I am a secondary school biology teacher and have several students very keen on evolution and prehistoric life. I thought they needed exposure to a learning environment in addition to what I could give them, so I decided to take them to Dino Lab and it was so worth it!
They were all blown away by the experience, even a few of them who have extensive knowledge on prehistoric animals as well as experience visiting other paleontology museums.

What a cool experience! We took our 5 year old for his birthday, and he had a blast. Kay was our tour guide and she was great! She's extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. The hands-on fossil experience was a lot of fun and very memorable. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing.an experience you will have LITERALLY no where else in the world.forget the "Don't touch" signs. Terry and the staff encourage you to touch and experience dinosaurs like you never have before! Book a tour for yourself or your group, see the amazing museum and ACTUALLY unearth dinosaur bones from clay taken from dig sites. You are the 1st person EVER to see and touch these amazing treasures.honestly an amazing experience whether you like dinosaurs or not. BUCKET LIST STUFF!

Owen was an amazing guide! He's a very smart guy and now I feel like I know all the rare and unique dinosaur facts. I also really enjoyed the calmness of Owen's presence. I would definitely return back to Dino Labs. TOTALLY WORTH THE VISIT!

Omg. Omg. OMG! Today we had a guided tour of the lab. The SECCOND I looked inside the door I was speachless! Confronted by the world's second most complete tyrannosaurus rex (Victoria), the allosaurus, the. No. I wont say anymore. Just go experience this! These guys know their stuff! The guide will tell you things you never thought possible. Show you things you never thought you would be holding in your own hands! Have you ever held a t-rex tooth, stegasaurus spikes from the tail, touched a sabertooth tiger skull? I have. I can hardly believe I'm saying that! How on earth? !? Only here can this magic happen!
We even got to sit in the lab and work on bones ourselves! I could go on forever but its just to much to write! Thankyou dinolabs for an experience we will hold in our hearts for the rest of our lives! Oh, and we will be back! Oh yes, we will be back!

Amazing visit! My kids loved it, especially my 9 yr old aspiring scientist. Working on bones in lab coats with real tools was a highlight. The most amazing experiemce anybody will ever have with dinosaurs unless you are a paleontologist yourself. If you want an actual extraordinarily life-changing experience then THIS is the place to go. I cannot even begin to fully express how amazing the experiemce at dino labs was. Honestly you just have to experiemce it yourself to really know. It will take your breath away
