It was my first time ordering the other day and it was a great experience. I ordered soup from Higher Mountain Soup Co.and the soup was really good. The delivery was very quick and my soups came vacuum sealed and were still perfectly frozen. The website is great and I love that it supports local farmers and small businesses and the offerings on there are really good. There is a nice variety of different products. Overall it was a really nice experience and I will order again and keep supporting local

Ordered a prime rib roast for Christmas dinner. After cooking it to a perfect medium rare, to our disappointment it was tough and stringy. So the next day I emailed Direct Foods with my complaint. Not really expecting anything would happen. Especially on Boxing Day. Well to my surprise, within 2 hours I was contacted by Ashly Mackinnon of Direct Foods. Was told that the roast would be replaced on the next delivery day. Now that's customer service! Would not hesitate to purchase from this company again. By the way the 2nd roast was delicious.

Order arrived on time, all packaged securely and with no issues. I am excited to try the items that I purchased. Ordered a few items that were on sale to take advantage of the boxing week sale they were having. Love the overall quality and selection of the products received. I have been very happy with the quality of the produce I have received.

Have not tried all the product yet, but the experience was good so far. One of the product was delay, but their staff proactively rearrange another deliver and being helpful.

The delivery date was 3 days earlier than what I had checked off. The frozen roasts (4) were beginning to thaw. Half of the frozen hamburger patties were thawed.and the box it was packed in was wet.

Ordered a variety of items, everything was delivered within a few days. Order was correct and in tact. Delivery driver was very friendly. Loved the variety and uniqueness of products offered. Good communication about when to expect the delivery, including a very accurate update when the delivery window was slightly delayed. Courteous service from the delivery person, and they were wearing a mask. Would use this service again.

I placed an order for some necessities such as, eggs, milk, chicken and a few veggies as I was running low on these items. The website was super easy to navigate. The delivery driver phoned to let me know when he would be on his way to deliver and even made sure to remind me to have a cooler outside incase I wasn't home when the food arrived. The best thing about this company is that it allows you to support and shop your local businesses. I'd definitely order from them again!

Excellent products and customer service! Will continue to be a loyal customer. Foodie products like double-yolk eggs, beef short ribs and local goat cheese abound. I've been more than pleased with every product I've tried so far. Delivery is generally next day and staff are very communicative. Highly recommend!

Overall a great experience! My delivery arrived as scheduled and items were well-packaged. I love that everything is fresh, organic and tasted great! I tried a variety of pre-marinated chicken items and they were so flavourful so those are a must try! (Sadly, some of the beef items I was hoping to try were sold out.) I was also excited they offered a variety of goat milk cheeses, gluten-free flours and sunchokes as these items can be difficult to find at other grocers. I look forward to what other items they may add in the future!
