Dollarama

The prices used to be better it's not worth shopping here anymore and on top of that theres no returns policy

The children made Terrariums for Mother's Day, and all the supplies were bought from Dollarama!
They have a great selection of craft ideas.

Great service, felt bad for the cashier, very pleasant and ongoing thefts at that particular Dollarama and she was the only cashier at a very busy place

Although if you are in a wheelchair it was hard to get through some isles because of ladders and stock left in the middle of them

I came here for canvases, because across the street at Michaels is just too much of a mark up. Seriously, same size and same brand, yet it's sometimes over $20 less here? !

Had one of the absolute worst customer service experiences at this location about a month ago. It still irks me how unnecessarily rude the employee was. One cashier on for a lineup half way to the back of the store. A cashier was called to assist, and they didn't show up for some time. Very rude employee sternly told me not to approach the cash, when I really wasn't approaching the cash. She then stood there, refusing to help me and waited until the original cashier had completed their existing transaction in order to help the next person in line. Been scratching my head on this one ever since.

I enjoy how local this store is as it's close to lots of other places near uptown. I shop here alot, and it can vary in cleanliness. Sometimes it's super messy, dusty, low stock, etc, but other times it looks pretty well stocked, and organized. Obviously, people still put things back on shelves in wrong places, but that's every store.
When you walk in, itsnotthe best cart storage place, as if people are trying to come into leave, and people are Pulling a cart out, it hold people up.
Also it's not very clear (in my opinion) where the 'unsanitized/used" carts/baskets go.

#1) aisle is mostly toilet paper, stove liners, kitchen soaps, tinfoil food containers etc, hula hoops, kid chairs. Pool noodles, kitchen gadgets, fridge magnets, cutting boards. Shelf shelves. Then scrubby stuff and lunch kits, basically kitchen stuff.
# 2) aisle is dishes, tablecloths/bedding stuff, mugs, dishes, tubberware, a gift card section
#3) seasonal/gardening as well as housing stuff.
#4) pet stuff, bird seed, hangers, house stuff, food, and snacks
#5) health & beauty, seasonal wear shoes hats etc, makeup, vitamins, beauty stuff
#6) books, activities. School/stationary supplies, kid stuff, then fake flowers
#7) party bags, cutlery, napkins, party cups, toys,

Sometimes staff aren't as friendly, but it's probably because in summer, it's so humid inside. It'sa miracle no one passes out. As a customer, who spends maybe 30+mins in store at a time, I find it bad, but can ya imagine the staff, there for 8 hrs?
Fix the air-conditioning/get air-conditioning, fix itrible staff, boom, win win.

I find this store has most of what i needed all the time. The staff is really helful and especially their manager is really professional when i have questions. Hope they will carry more products in the future!

Great selection, large store. But they are tremendously understaffed. I feel so bad for the cashier's as people always get impatient when waiting. Store Manager, get a second person in there to help. You'll have happier customers and staff.

Huge selection of stuff you need, and treasures you didn't think they'd have. Great prices on all of it.

Worst Dollarama I have being to never see staff on the floor. Never more then 1 person on the tills even when there is a huge line up. Have witnessed staff also arguing with each other a few times in the past.

Yep Dollarama is still around all the good stuff's four bucks just so you know I don't think that everything in there is about 25 or a buck anymore it's all the good stuff four bucks so sometimes you got to watch what you're buying cuz you can buy the same thing right and save on around the corner and it'll be this you know better quality more of it for the same price for box right so they've got to really watch what they're doing there but other than that still a dollar store so it's great place for those couple of things that you need but if you go in there for a big shop it might be surprised you can get up over $100 and only carry out two bags right.

Very busy some customers impatient with staff but that's people need to show patience. I thought staff were great kudos staff

Smaller than usual Dollarama. Stock is mostly seasonal and gardening section is severely under-stocked.

Great Dollarama. Always well stocked shelves. Variety of needed items also. Helpful, pleasant staff!

It has been one or two items i could'nt find.like a measurement tape (hardware) and the foam like carpet.

I love my local $store. The people are friendly, helpful, and take really good care of their seniors. Always a pleasant experience

This location has the worse customer service, staff are horrible, grumpy, rude. They either you with suspicion, or treat you, like you are inconveniencing them. I'll shop at a different location.

I get my groceries here every other week! Its awesome! The total is always under 50$ for what would cost 200 dollars at fairway.this will be my last review, my doctor says i have heart problems.

I can't tell you how many times this place has and exactly what I needed exactly when I needed it

This location is a great one. It's large and has a lot of different things. Birthday cards are only $1 here so it blows away Walmart if you want this.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and fast. Great hours of business, open late many days a week.

I needed to buy cases of items and one of the staff was kind enough to keep checking the back for me and getting empty boxes

This dollar store is located in a perfect spot near uptown area with Walmart, save on food, Tim Hortons, Mcdonalds, Boston Pizza, TD Bank, RBC Bank & scotia bank, all a 5 minutes walking distance. Place is clean and most of the time organized with many things that you might need for your daily use. I deducted two stars because of the customer service. More than three times, I encountered unfriendly faces. I do not recall seeing any customer clerk who was smiling or with welcoming words. I encourage owners to train their staff to be friendly and positive.after all, we are Canadians

Much better than most. This is my go to spot for all things dollar store. Store is clean, well stocked, and the service is good. Can get busy at the checkouts, especially around noon but the line typically moves quickly.

Im a poor kid and growing up on this dollar store, so im really sad to see it only haveing 3 stars! But i gusse it is a littel un organized. But hey once you go to the dollar store theres no going back! Lol jk jk

I like this shop, have been going for some time now. Staff are always friendly. However, 5 of the last 6 times I've gone, there have been more than 6-8 people in line. That's my deal breaker, so left each time. On several of those occasions, other people who were arriving to the store at the same time also left. Only one of those times were there more than 1 person on a til. It's getting a little ridiculous.

The usual merchandise you find at most Dollarama stores. Store is clean looking and well organized.

Love their large canvas owl tote bags, I have bought several to date. A great gift too for $4!

Staff I've interacted with have been very friendly and helpful!

One star off as I do think some of their items are a bit overpriced, compared to other $$$ type discount stores (Dollar Tree are $1.25 for almost everything!) but other than that, no complaints!

Will shop here again when visiting at Uptown Mall, across the street.

This place has great deals! However this is the only location I find the till to be an issue.they have one person working the till but 3 other employees stocking. I have walked out a few times, as the cashier refuses to call for help! 8 people in line or not. Every other dollarama calls for assistance when there is more then 3 people in line.

Great if you need anything urgent for the house, be it snacks, homeware, baby supplies, or toiletries.
